I received a phone call yesterday from Publishers Clearing House. Dave Sawyer. He said I won $7.5 million and a 2021 Mercedes Benz. I would receive $5000 a week. He wanted me to send $895.50 to receive my prize. Send by check or through my bank. My money would arrive tomorrow. He gave badge number 14010. Package code BC0177. Control number 1611431111US. He gave me phone number 903-400-9570. I did not send any money. I wanted to check if this was true.

I received a call on my home phone Publishers Clearing House. 876-813-6154 was in my caller ID. Caller said I won second prize. I never heard of a second prize. That was the first thing. I won $5000 a week until it reaches $2.5 million. This is what stopped me. Told me to go to Walgreens or Walmart and buy a Vanilla card for $350. I show them the card when they come with my prize. I said if you are giving me $5000 a week why do I have to pay $350? I know this is a scam. I called the number back. The same man answered. I might get somebody caught. They need to be caught.

I received a voice mail message from Publishers Clearing House stating I had won the contest, which by the way I never entered. I did not call them back with the phone number they listed as I knew it was a scam. I just wanted to let you know that these calls are going around and no one should respond to them.

I was on messenger and chatted with a person named Greg James R. He said he was from PCH and I won money. I had to fill out a delivery form. It wanted my full name, my mother's name, male/female, full address, Facebook password, photo I.D., text phone, phone carrier, occupation, monthly income, email address, age, and have I ever applied for any grants before. I definitely did not give him any real information. I did ask him a lot of questions and he was starting to get upset. He did send me an I.D. that said, Dave Sayer. When I asked him why his name did not match the I.D. he said his name was Greg James Dave Sayer. He really wanted me to give him information, but to no avail. Oh well, I guess he is screwed.

I was called and told I won a car and $800,000.00 grand prize; prize number 524176. I was to have $120.00. They would pick me up at my home and then I would follow them to the bank, and they would put the funds in the bank. I asked if I could have a friend come with me. They said yes and asked who. I said a friend and Wyoming policeman. They said i could spend a little money to get the big money to do something wonderful for me. They were smooth right to smooth.

When I called the number back, they answered with Reader's Digest.

Left VM that she had won a sweepstakes and to call the phone number provided which she did. She spoke w/someone and there is a automated message and then a man answers and asks for a number that was left on the answering machine and says he will call her back. Well, he didn't. This same scenerio also happened with a friend of hers and no one called this person either.

Marry Myyers Badge# 9568BC called at 9:14 am (September 2, 2021) on my cell phone and left a message that I had been selected as a winner in the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes. I immediately knew it was a scam and did not intend to respond....but later (11:10 am) pulled up the voice mail to show my husband and mistakenly redialed the scammer. Just as I thought, it was a royal scam that included:

-setting up a deposit into my bank account (I gave no personal account numbers, etc.)

-getting a "claimer card number" #4149-9413-57 for CVS (given to me by the scammer)

-setting up a time (5:00 pm) September 2, 2021 for the UPS delivery service to pick up my "Claimer Card"

-instructed to go to CVS to obtain a One Vanilla card for $299 before 5:00 pm (When asked if I could travel, I told the scammer I had just gotten out of the hospital (true) and was not sure I was capable of traveling today. She asked if a caregiver could go for me!--no remorse here for a senior adult just out of the hospital!!!!) The scammer was sly enough to never mention money....just "two ninety-nine". When I asked if that meant $2.99, she was slightly taken aback and mumbled $20 would be okay.

-at this point, she said it would be easier to just make a direct deposit in my account.....I told her my husband refused to let me have any dealings with our bank account (not true) and I was not feeling well......and hung up.

A man called my home saying his name is Phillip Jackson and he is with the Publishers Clearing House. Calling to award me with 5.9 million dollars from Publisher Clearing House. In order to have the money released to me from the Federal Reserve Bank I need to send a post office money order in the amount of $499.00 to Mary Graham a certified public accountant working out of New York H&R Block.

I answered a call this morning on my cell phone from Publishers Clearing House. Callers name was Peter Brown. Badge number 557KUS. He gave me phone number 917-383-3772. He told me I won Publishers Clearing House 2022 Mercedes Benz. Wanted me to go to Walgreens and get a $200 gift card. They would be at my house in twenty minutes. I told him I don't have any money. He needed to deliver my prize today. I know it is a scam. He said there may be a lot of people calling. He also said if the caller does not give a badge number it's a scam.

The caller stated I had won $550,000,00. But in order to collect it I would need to go to Walgreens or Walmart and put $197.00 on a card and then send the money to them. It was called a processing fee.

I received a call on my cell phone from Publishers Clearing House. I won $10 million and a Mercedes Benz. I was talking to Michael McQueen. He told me to go to Walgreens and buy a Vanilla gift card for $499.99. I called Walgreens. They don't sell those. I was not going to purchase it anyway. I played along. I called Michael McQueen back at 646-971-0238 Extension 7. He told me to call Walmart or CVS. I decided at that point to call the Better Business Bureau. This sounds like a scam to me. Why should I have to pay a fee to win a prize. You never a pay for a prize. I wanted to notify the ScamPulse.com about this. I don't fall for these scams.

I was called on Sunday 8/15/2021 by Charlie Goodman, who claimed I had won the Publishers Clearinghouse sweepstakes. I called him back on Monday 8/16/21 for details. He told me I had won $3.7 million to be given to me as a certified check and also $5,000 a week for life. I was told open a bank account and call him back with the routing and account numbers. He gave me a passcode and winning number for verifying my identity. I was told I would not have to pay any taxes. He did not ask for money upfront but did tell me not to tell anyone or speak to any other representatives from Publishers Clearinghouse that may call. He said they would also come to my house to award the prize. He knew my address but I did not give him any other personal information. I called the real Publishers Clearinghouse and was told that this was a scam and that they never call anyone, they just show up at the home.
