I received 3 calls on my home phone from a man with an accent who informed me I won $2,500,000 from publishers clearing house. I told him I’d like to talk to his boss, after I call the BBB, so 5 minutes later he calls back claiming he is from the ScamPulse.com and has an IRS man there also. Could he have my email? I told him no, and hung up!!

This is Shelia brown and I receive a letter with a 7,000 check inside And I would like to know is it real and not a scam

THIS IS A SCAM. A REAL SCAM. Don't put that check in the bank.

Yes it’s real I got it too

I got a call that lasted over 16 minutes. I played along not giving any detail information. I was told I had won 8.5 million from publishers clearing House (7000 weekly for life) and that Steve Harvey and he named off some others that would be at my house today. Also with a 2020 Mercedes color of my choice between pearl silver or jet black valued at 255,000.
He said his name was Dave Freeman. He went online telling me this was a blessing. Asked if I was a Christian. Asked how I felt about this- I responded seeing is believing.
I really felt like I was in worship with all the praising he was doing. He asked how long I had been with PCH I replied I didn’t know. He responded it’s been 20 years. He asked if I wanted to list as a beneficiary I said of course my husband. He also wanted to list my children I said no. After the more than 16 minutes I said I had to go because the pharmacy was calling me -I then hung up. Now I have received six spam risk calls after.

Yall I’m fixing to wash my hair and put on a bra because I can’t be looking like a hot mess when Steve Harvey rolls up in my 2020 Mercedes ?

Post it on TIK TOK ?

I got a call from Publisher's Clearing House saying I had won 2 1/2 million dollars and a 2019 Mercedes Benz. He said I need to buy a Vanilla card for $500; $250 for the car and $250 for the prize money. He had a heavy foreign accent. He told me to buy a Vanilla gift card at Family Dollar or Dollar Store. The call came on a blocked number. I hung up on him but he called back. He said his name was Tim Lake. His ID badge number was 001TL. He told me I could buy the card for $5 and put money on it from somewhere else later. He was adamant that it was legitimate.

The "Publisher's Clearing House" called and told me that I had won a lot of money. I had choices between cars also. They asked me to go and get gift card, $1000 (Green Dot Money Pack). They suggested going to Dollar General for it. They told me my correct age, 72.

Voice message stated my name and asked that I call back.

My elderly uncle who I take care of answered the phone this morning and the caller stated that he was from publishers clearing house. I picked up the phone to speak with the caller and once again he stated that he was from publishers clearing house. He had a foreign accent. He stated that my uncle had won 1.5 million dollars and that he would get $7,000 every wednesday for the rest of his ilfe, and a pearl white mercades benz car. The caller stated that he needed me to get a pen and paper to write down some information on how to claim the prize. He then proceeded to give me a ladys name that was going to be in charge of the certified cashiers check. And a mans name that was responsible for handling the $7,000 weekly. The caller gave me his name and his supposed badge number. Then he put another man on the phone who also had a foreign accent who was "the prize patrol manager". You could hear wind blowing in the background like he was outside on a cellphone. The second man said he was 30 minutes away from my house. I acted like I didn't hear him then he changed his answer to 45 minutes away. I said, what is the name of the person you are calling. He said that he would need to look that information up because the prizes drawn had been selected by a phone number. Then he came back with my uncles name and address. He said upon arrival he was going to need us to sign some papers but reassured us that it was not personal information. Then he said you know when you make a transaction over $10,000 it would be automatically audited by the government and I said correct. I asked him earlier in the call if our conversation was being recorded he said yes by the government. And asked me to repeat all the things I had written down. I could hear a strange clicking noise in the background after I repeated back what I had written down. He then said ma'am before I get to your house I need you to go to the dollar store and purchase a mastercard or visa in the ammount of $399. So when I get there you can pay your down payment on the taxes. I then proceeded to tell him I don't have any money. He kept trying to reassure he wasn't lying and Then asked me if I chose to donate the money to charity because I couldn't come up with the $399 fee. He said if you can't pay that much how much can you come up with today. If he was already on his way to our house, then why did he have to put me on hold for 2 minutes to look up our name and address attatched to our phone number. He would already have that in his gps. . He kept saying then you need to go borrow that money from someone else so you can go buy that prepaid card to pay me. This is your financial road to freedom. I argued with him and eventually hung up. Now worried what he is going to do with our phone number, address, my uncles name, and my voice repeating back to him the information that I had written down. They made it sound so real until the end I really hope this stops before any elderly person gets taken advantage of!
