Postal mail made to look like a check, looks to be from Mortgage Lein Holder Bank but is not, they pull that info to get names of owners of home and address and bank who holds the title lein. Make it appear you are receiving 199.00 but also "states not a check". THey also look to put on sense of urgency to respond by stating final outreach is this.

Just be careful folks, I tossed this after looking at it a few min to realize what it actually was, a way phish for information and get you to spend money with them, in this case probably a home warrenty since that is what others stated, I never called the number

"this letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding property at xxxxxxxxxx secured by you current lender which is private Lender. We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. Please call IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 888-467-3210."

Attached is a document that appears to be a check for $199.00. but it is not a check. there is no routing number no check number no identifying information.

whoever sent this is clearly looking for people to call the number so they can scam them

Gonzalo Lopez reached out via text claiming to be a part of Redfin Real estate and was reaching out to Use or Cleaning services for vacant houses. I couldn’t find any online presence of Gonzalo with that phone number or anything attaching to Redfin. He sent us a sample contract where it was included that a $2500 payment would be required to start business with them. That is when I searched the email [email protected] and found the previous complaint from someone else on a similar set up. Luckily caught it before it went any further.

Voicemail that was clearly a robocall as the beginning of the message was cut off.

"… matters that are currently investigated for. Today I will be verifying your current address and place of employment. In the meantime it is your responsibility and legal right to contact your plaintiff prior to being served. Their number is 520 204 1404. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture of your right to resolve this matter and a complaint will be filed against you in your local county. Consider this your legal notification. They only speak spanish and claim to be selling the crucifix that Pope Francis wears around his neck. The good shepherd or Un Buen Pastor. They claim the money is to be used to feed the poor children. They first called my mother who is elderly and has dementia. Thankfully, her home attendant told her to give the person my number since Im basically in charge of her finances. They called me and when they refused to identify themselves right away, my internal antenna went up. They would not take No for an answer. They persisted with their calls which I refused to answer so eventually I blocked their number. Today they went as low as to have a "priest" call my mother and convince her to give them her bank card number. Thankfully, her home attendant saw what she was about to do and told her to stop so she could call me. I was raised Catholic with priests and nuns. This so called "priest" would not let me speak and when i explained thatbthe company was basically harrassing us with their calls. He kept insisting that it was a good price and that it was for charity. $200 for a person who lives on social security and resides in NYC housing, that's a lot of money for a crucifix. I don't believe that this person or persons are legit in any way. Just because they advertise on Spanish tv channels, does not make them a legitimate company or charity. I truly hope you can stop them from scamming other elderly people.
