I have been getting several calls every day from 510-370-1896. A Hispanic woman states that I need to call an Officer Brian Snyder immediately or a warrant for my arrest will be filed. Officers will show up at my door within the hour and I will be held and interrogated for at least 72 hours. She said I could setttle the amount I owe to the IRS $1,856.00 and further action could be averted. I told her that this is a scam and not to call again. The calls are not as frequent as at first but I still get calls. I told family members to beware of this type of activity. My sister, who lives near me, called me this morning to tell me that she has started getting the same type of calls from 206-451-9863 and that those calls were from someone in Washington.

On 2/9/16 I received a phone message that provided a phone number to

call about a "claim number". I ignored the call. On 2/10/16 I

received a call from the same phone number and answered the call. I

was told I was talking to Officer Nelson Carter (badge #IRM0210)

with the IRS regarding a legal claim on my name. They asked me if

my mailing address was in Verona, WI. I told them no. They asked

if I had moved recently. I said no. We were then disconnected.

They called me back and the caller I.D. that came up on my phone

was "911". I answered the call and was told we had been

disconnected. They proceeded to tell me that an audit had been

performed on my 2010-14 tax returns and that a major miscalculation

had occured on my tax files. I asked them if they could send me the

forms (evidence) so I could take a look at them. He said no because

they would take 3 days to arrive. I said that was fine and he

replied "No Ms. Williamson that would NOT be fine because I can not

delay the issuing of a warrant for your arrest". I then told him I

thought the call was a bogus call and hung up on him.
