I stopped him at that point and asked him what this was about. He hesitated and I said I would call the IRS myself and he hung up. i got a phone call the other day with someone claiming to be from the IRS they told me that the IRS has filed a law suit against me and that i needed to give them some bank information so they can send me the paperwork to set up payments to stop the lawsuit from going further . I have dealt with the IRS before and i knew something was wrong as I did not get any paperwork in the mail, but i am afraid some people would fall for this so i just want to throw it out there. I live in Skaneateles new york if that helps I also wrote down the phone number they used 206-855-6990 but when you call it back it is silent.
