(I only provided my address and phone number). He attempted to have me print fraudulent checks to be maiked out I saw someone else got scammed by same person with the checks. Although i did not go purchse anything or pay him any money, i caught on to the intention.

On 1/18/2024 i applied for a remote job posted on Indeed for a Virtual Executive Assistant, company listed was ESP Spares in Georgetown, Texas. I received a message on Indeed 1/19/2024 in response to my application. The person introduced themselves as Doug Schrade, an Entrepreneur. He told me the position is still available if I want it but he revised it a little bit. The pay offer was $850/weekly. In the message, there was a link that took me to the "company" job description. I noticed the pay showed $650/weekly. It said to email him to accept or deny the offer and list any questions I have. He claimed he was out of office the next three weeks working on another project with another corporation so he needed an assistant. I emailed him via [email protected] asking about the conflicting pay and if they provided equipment , as some jobs do. Today, 1/22/2024 he sent a text letting me know he received my email. He said he has another job for me with a different company, Paychex. I looked it up and see a website for that company as well as a website for ESP Spares Inc. He told me "I am a man with a multiple occupation, I involve in anything that can makes my family some money." I asked about him providing equipment again, but he said since i have a printer i don'I need a computer. I was already seeing red flags by then. He told me he will pay me to start asap. The next text said " What I want to do right now is that, soon as I get a list from the company I want you to help me handle working on the list I will teach you how to get it done and also provide you with the PDF. Are you ready to start working now Its a very easy task you will be done in a very few period of time and you only get to work on it for just 3 days in a week at your ownconvenience, you'll do the job at your convenient time, is that okay for you?"

I said "yes" although I knew he was trying to scam me, I went along with the conversation. He said the pay will be $1,400/bi-weekly (by now I reported the job posting on Indeed regarding it being a scam). He sent another text stating "Okay good, the first step on getting started requires on last requirement which is very simple for you to get now. You will need the type of check paper approved by our company its called VersaCheck. It costs only $22 at Staples, you will need to get that paper to start now. Keep in mind you will receive reimbursement on the paper cost as the paper cost will be added to your salary on your payday. OK?" I replied "I have never worked for someone that I had to pay for things that they require. Most people that need a job are people without money. I am not able to buy anything at this time." I didn't hear anything back. The phone # he was texting me from is 925-430-5209. 925 area code is California by the way. I never provided my SSN or anything like that to this person. As i googled the name "Doug Schrade," i saw other reports of scams under the same name with either same job and pay info or different job and pay but still the name Doug Schrade. I blocked him from contacting me. I do not feel fhs companies listed have anythjng to do with this. I feel the scammer hust ysed the names of those companies. Also, due to other reports i saw on Google regarding this same job and same person's name, there seems to be people scamming together using the name Doug Schrade.

These scammers are creating fake job postings on hiring websites claiming to be Vascugen. They're using the names Allon Friedman and Michael Crowley for the interview and onboarding team. These people are not connected to Vascugen. It's a job scam.

My experience was exactly the same as the first reported. I applied through indeed.com. Received a email from someone name Jess to set up and interview through the signal app. After very few questions they stated i scores a 8.5 out of 10 and offered me a position. There is supposedly a check being mailed to purchase materials but it does not seem legit. Thankfully i did not provide my physical address ads it seemed off so did not want to provide too specific information. Also to note they asked who i bank with so they can make sure automatic payment would be supported for once i start but i also did not prothrombin with that information

Received a text from Diane Norman phone # (630) 839-9670 about a job offer based on my resume from www.indeed.com for the position of Remote Data Collection & Data Entry Specialist with a pay rate of $35.00 per hour. I texted back That I was interested. Then received a test to setup an account with Signal messenger on my cell once that was done and verified I received a text from Reis Geoghegan from Aertssen Group NV (this business is located in Belgium) Reis phone is (630) 839-9670. And Reis asked me to answer a rather lengthy questionnaire. Completed the questionnaire and shortly afterwards received a text back that I had all the qualities they were needing for this remote position. I felt that this was strange since Aertseen is a company dealing with energy business overseas and Middle East and I informed that I only and Managerial Experience for the last 55 years in Retail and Wholesale Grocery and General Industries. At 1:15am Sunday morning i received a text that i had the position and that Monday morning i would receive a phone call and email guiding me though the paper work to start my Training. Sunday mid morning I received a text from Reis wanting to know if i wanted to be paid weekly or Bi weekly by check or direct deposit and the name of my bank. That is when i realized this was a fraud i have never been asked for banking information before i even filled out all the company paperwork. They also agreed to pay for all the computer equipment and printer scanner without any question. I also check your records and found that Diane Norman at (630) 839-9670 was listed as possible fraud.

I didn’t apply with this company, though I have applied for many positions like it of late.

I found the job listing on indeed listed under Remote jobs. The company name is DigiandFriends. I recieved emails from the following email address: [email protected]. The individuals used the names Imani Blake and Neil Sawyer. They asked for me to sign a contractor agreement and asked for pictures of me and my driver's license for a background check. Here are the two phone numbers they used to contact me (202) 403-2317 and (888) 506-0233.

They also used the tactic of asking me to download the Telegram app only to ask me for personal information regarding my bank information, which I became suspicious and did not give them that information and I immediately told them that I no longer could work the job because of family obligations.

Received a text about interviewing for a position using the signal app. After speaking with the person on the app I tried to find where I applied through the app. I did not apply for this position. I was offered the position and given a contract which I have not signed. What threw me off was they are sending a check to me to buy the work from home items I needed in order to do the job. I have blocked the sender from contacting me any further.

I was contacted via email for a job opportunity from an Indeed application that I submitted for a remote Graphic Designer job at ICF in Arlington Va. I was sent a series of interview questions that I had to answer and submit to a hiring committee. Later I was contacted and offered an opportunity to work for the company. The letterhead, HR lady, Jennifer Welham and the company appeared valid and I reviewed the contract, signed and sent it via email to accept the position. They also had me send a copy of my drivers license and ss number to finalize the contract information. I was then contacted and instructed through a Letter of Acknowledgment that I would be receiving a check to purchase the materials needed to set up a company mini office and that the equipment would belong to the company until I had complete a trial 90 day period. It was also written that a list of equipment and a contracted vendor would supply the equipment and that I would be given technical support to set up the equipment as well as a 5 to 7 day training session with the Graphic Design department. They stated that logistical issues and repeated errors were the reason I was to purchase the equipment through their vendors and have them directly delivered to my address. They asked for the name of my bank (not my account number). I received an envelope from UPS from "Antylia Scientific 12554 Hwy 3, Suite B230, Wester, TX 77598 with what I assume is a check and instructions (I have not opened the envelope). The address listed on the envelope is for "Antylia Scientific, 12554 Hwy 3 Suite B230, Webster, TX 77598. Their UPS account number is 77357W

I was applying for a job on indeed and LinkedIn. This one was on indeed. Same info as what you have in the description but gave my name, email address, phone number, and my new home address. They also have the name of my bank, but no account numbers as they sent me money. Deposited the checks via mobile app but were held for review. I deleted them but calling the bank to have them not deposit which i dont think they will. I will then destroy the checks. I have also uninstalled the app on my phone.
