These scammers are creating fake job postings on hiring websites claiming to be Vascugen. They're using the names Allon Friedman and Michael Crowley for the interview and onboarding team. These people are not connected to Vascugen. It's a job scam.

My experience was exactly the same as the first reported. I applied through indeed.com. Received a email from someone name Jess to set up and interview through the signal app. After very few questions they stated i scores a 8.5 out of 10 and offered me a position. There is supposedly a check being mailed to purchase materials but it does not seem legit. Thankfully i did not provide my physical address ads it seemed off so did not want to provide too specific information. Also to note they asked who i bank with so they can make sure automatic payment would be supported for once i start but i also did not prothrombin with that information

Received a text from Diane Norman phone # (630) 839-9670 about a job offer based on my resume from www.indeed.com for the position of Remote Data Collection & Data Entry Specialist with a pay rate of $35.00 per hour. I texted back That I was interested. Then received a test to setup an account with Signal messenger on my cell once that was done and verified I received a text from Reis Geoghegan from Aertssen Group NV (this business is located in Belgium) Reis phone is (630) 839-9670. And Reis asked me to answer a rather lengthy questionnaire. Completed the questionnaire and shortly afterwards received a text back that I had all the qualities they were needing for this remote position. I felt that this was strange since Aertseen is a company dealing with energy business overseas and Middle East and I informed that I only and Managerial Experience for the last 55 years in Retail and Wholesale Grocery and General Industries. At 1:15am Sunday morning i received a text that i had the position and that Monday morning i would receive a phone call and email guiding me though the paper work to start my Training. Sunday mid morning I received a text from Reis wanting to know if i wanted to be paid weekly or Bi weekly by check or direct deposit and the name of my bank. That is when i realized this was a fraud i have never been asked for banking information before i even filled out all the company paperwork. They also agreed to pay for all the computer equipment and printer scanner without any question. I also check your records and found that Diane Norman at (630) 839-9670 was listed as possible fraud.

I found the job listing on indeed listed under Remote jobs. The company name is DigiandFriends. I recieved emails from the following email address: [email protected]. The individuals used the names Imani Blake and Neil Sawyer. They asked for me to sign a contractor agreement and asked for pictures of me and my driver's license for a background check. Here are the two phone numbers they used to contact me (202) 403-2317 and (888) 506-0233.

They also used the tactic of asking me to download the Telegram app only to ask me for personal information regarding my bank information, which I became suspicious and did not give them that information and I immediately told them that I no longer could work the job because of family obligations.

Received a text about interviewing for a position using the signal app. After speaking with the person on the app I tried to find where I applied through the app. I did not apply for this position. I was offered the position and given a contract which I have not signed. What threw me off was they are sending a check to me to buy the work from home items I needed in order to do the job. I have blocked the sender from contacting me any further.

I was contacted via email for a job opportunity from an Indeed application that I submitted for a remote Graphic Designer job at ICF in Arlington Va. I was sent a series of interview questions that I had to answer and submit to a hiring committee. Later I was contacted and offered an opportunity to work for the company. The letterhead, HR lady, Jennifer Welham and the company appeared valid and I reviewed the contract, signed and sent it via email to accept the position. They also had me send a copy of my drivers license and ss number to finalize the contract information. I was then contacted and instructed through a Letter of Acknowledgment that I would be receiving a check to purchase the materials needed to set up a company mini office and that the equipment would belong to the company until I had complete a trial 90 day period. It was also written that a list of equipment and a contracted vendor would supply the equipment and that I would be given technical support to set up the equipment as well as a 5 to 7 day training session with the Graphic Design department. They stated that logistical issues and repeated errors were the reason I was to purchase the equipment through their vendors and have them directly delivered to my address. They asked for the name of my bank (not my account number). I received an envelope from UPS from "Antylia Scientific 12554 Hwy 3, Suite B230, Wester, TX 77598 with what I assume is a check and instructions (I have not opened the envelope). The address listed on the envelope is for "Antylia Scientific, 12554 Hwy 3 Suite B230, Webster, TX 77598. Their UPS account number is 77357W

I was applying for a job on indeed and LinkedIn. This one was on indeed. Same info as what you have in the description but gave my name, email address, phone number, and my new home address. They also have the name of my bank, but no account numbers as they sent me money. Deposited the checks via mobile app but were held for review. I deleted them but calling the bank to have them not deposit which i dont think they will. I will then destroy the checks. I have also uninstalled the app on my phone.

So are you saying you pursued this job opp and it turned out to be a scam?

I applied for a job on indeed.com. I got a response stating that I was a good candidate for a shipping position, which was remote. I was contacted by several people in regards to complete an application and filling out a W-4 form. My bank information was sent to them for direct deposit after the second shipment I got a little concerned because I could not get in contact with anyone via the phone numbers or emails that they provided so I googled the company and didn’t find anything except for reviews from several people stating that they were scammed as well. I contacted the police department and they told me that it was a scam , so I’m reporting this in case they try to use any of my information for future fraud cases.

I am concerned this business is scamming job applicants by requesting free labor during the interview process and using it internally for their client, Netflix, which they expressed to me in their own words. I have attached email correspondence in which they deny my offer to complete their work assignment under a freelance contract, and claim to have gone in a direction that "best fulfill the needs set forth by the client," which is Netflix, suggesting that they are requesting free labor from the job applicants in order to fulfill the needs of Netflix. The tactics they use involve stringing a job applicant through several weeks of glowing interviews with no mention of the free labor request until the very end. This was for a junior level position and I am concerned that this company is targeting inexperienced job applicants who may feel pressured into working for free. The assignment they asked me to complete would have easily been stolen by them and used internally with Netflix, so the general public would never be aware of the free labor being utilized by either company.

I was offered a job position as a data entry clerk through the company to work remotely. I was contacting the "hiring manager" via Microsoft Teams. It seemed legitimate until I deposited the check that was sent to me by the company to be used as funds for my work equipment. After depositing the check I was then asked to Zelle the money to a vendor to pay for the equipment. The vendor's Zelle account was not of a business or anything, but was a personal one. My bank called to warn me of this likely scam. When I expressed my concerns to the hiring manager, he kept telling me it was fine and to not worry and just send the money. This raised even more suspicion. I gave this company all of my personal information including social, address, and bank information thinking I was sending real documentation to begin a job.

I applied for a Sales Associate position at Parkway Postal and went for an interview with Kaitlynn on 8/8/23 @ 3:30pm. On 8/11/23 @ 6:04 pm I received a call/VM stating I got the job and to report Thursday 8/14/23 @ 3pm to do paperwork and training. I arrived went through some basic training and submitted hiring paperwork DL, SS# and banking information for direct deposit completed W2 and I9 documentation within an hour of me leaving that establishment I received an email stating I was not chosen for the position. At 5:45pm I called Parkway Postal asked for Kaitlynn to find out what was going on, I was put a hold for 10 mins and the person answering said she's not here and neither is Neil P. I told her "I need to speak with Kaitlynn, this is Christina Bean" she said she'll be in tomorrow. I had a bad feeling something wasn't right. Friday 8/15/23 I took precautionary measures I went to Social Security office and talked to them regarding possible identity theft I was given a pamphlet and to my bank to close and reopen my account. I feel my identity was at risk and it should be looked into and I could possibly not the only person Parkway Postal has done this to. I have reported this to indeed.com three times and have not heard anything back.
