I and several others were hired to work for this company to market Commercial Insurance. after payday showed up, none of us were payed or reimbursed for paying for an app that they required us to have on our phones. We have tried to contact the owner and manager for our pay and they have blocked us and took over our work emails and phone numbers we had purchased to use to the job. The company owner Julie and Reggie Williams have scammed a lot of new hires from pay and reimbursement. they also hire unlicensed people to market commercial insurance. on pay day, the 15th julie told us that payroll was taking longer and we will be payed on the 1st. after the 1st, no pay and once again blocked by the owner.

I was looking for remote work on Indeed and found a job posting as an administrative assistant working for a concrete coatings company out of Vermont. After reading over the email correspondence I've had with the person claiming to be Hiring Manager Steve Warner, and cross referencing him with listed and known employees of this company, and finding nothing, I decide to give the actual brick-and-mortar establishment a call and ask them whether or not a Steve Warner actually works for Nicom Coatings, LLC. According to the statement given by the lady running their phones this day, apparently their systems had been hacked by someone has been posting fraudulently on websites like Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and Monster. Glad I did my due diligence.

Received a text from 570-740-4042 Timothy offered remote position $22.00 doing data entry type work which I have experience with then he asked to do an interview however i have laryngitis so he had a manager reach out via app called signal. The manager's name is Kate Richard phone number 812-565-9397 she asked me if i was capable of the job tasks which I said yes and provided hours available to work. She stated I would be getting $22.00 an hour with a $200.00 sign on bonus and training would be two weeks at $19.00 per hour. She asked if I had a home office I said yes she replied great and then stated I would get a computer/laptop pre loaded with the company applications to use for the position. a day or so later she started to say that I would get a tracking number and that I would get a check to purchase all the necessary things and pay the vendor directly with those funds.

I am attaching the text conversation.

They also wanted me to send my id for verification as a normal job would ask for when starting a new position

they had me email that to [email protected] which I verified twice to see if it was a legit email and it came back verified low risk by two websites.

so I thought this was a legit position

I am also uploading the conversation with Kate Richard from the app Signal

The job posting was for a proofreader/video interpreter position. Someone claiming to be Sophia William, a recruiting rep at Kay Universal from phone number (206)803-8625, sent me a text asking me to download the Signal Messaging App to talk to the hiring manager Amanda Ball at phone number (920)350-9592. I did so and had a text interview in which I was not able to ask any questions. They sent me a contract immediately the next morning via email, from [email protected]. In the contract they stated that I would need to purchase the working materials such as a laptop myself and then be reimbursed by the company. When I asked questions about it, and said that most reputable businesses would send the technology necessary rather than ask their employees to purchase it, they said "You complain too much." I attached this part - my writing is in blue while theirs is in grey.

The listing was on Indeed.com at this address: https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?from=app-tracker-post_apply-appcard&hl=en&...

I drove 4 hours to take the training class and do fingerprints I paid out of my pocket $114. To do that. Plus the gas and my time I spent: they were not reliable in what they said. Always got excuse when I would call since the website went “down” and the person on the phone would always say they are busy to leave name and phone number someone would give me a call back. I would not get a call back I would have to call back a week later and sometimes during the week and the phone line would be off. It was a mess I had to go through this anxiety for about over a month dealing with this company.

It was a nightmare. There’s more to the story but I’m already writing a story. I left a review already about them. I never even received my guard card. They sent me a email stating it got return because of bad address. When I have given them my address a bunch of times for them to send me the uniform which took forever. Asked me twice for it because the uniform was getting delayed. I can’t trust this company at all.

The scammer was NOT the website "Indeed.com", it was some other entity that posted a fraudulent job offer on the public, widely used and generally legitimate job search site "Indeed.com". If you could provide more details on exactly what the listing itself stated, it would be more helpful.

This company is scamming people for there social security numbers, Dl & personal information but fake offering remote jobs!

Applied for a job with Hershey Company involving advertising. They would send me a check for $2,500 to have my car wrapped in advertisiing for them. I received the check in the mail. It said 1. deposit the check; 2, email me when you have deposited the check.

They are posting fake jobs on Indeed. They schedule an interview for these jobs with a member associated with their 'business'. As you walk in, they inform you that the 'job' posted has been filled.

After you leave, another member sends a message saying the position is available and to schedule an interview with them.

Initially I was contacted via indeed email with the following:

They first send you that you are a highly eligible candiate. From there you are told to download MS Team and conduct an interview just with writing. Then they offer you a job and send you a offer of employment letter and then they ask you for ID or passport and to fill out an I-9. I have all documentation needed to show what they sent. It didn’t let me attach correctly on here. But something did not seem right and called the company directly and they stated they were not hiring currently. So, that is how I came to understand they were a scam.

Scammer approached me about a potential job offer similar to one I applied for on indeed.com. The scammer tried to gain more information from me by asking me to communicate with "HR" via Signal Messanger.

Once I confronted the scammer by text about it being a potential false the scammer immediately ended our conversation.

Approached via Indeed.com as an “invitation to interview”. Logged into Signal app expecting a video call or link to be provided. “Hiring manager” Amber Laloux, informed that this initial process would be via text using Signal. 1.5 hrs later, the interview concluded and I was emailed a DocuSign Interview Consideration Stand which I signed and returned. Then the banking information questions was where I started to get suspicious. They asked if what my daily deposit limit was for mobile checks. I informed that I wasn’t comfortable moving forward without speaking to someone directly over the phone/video call.

I applied through Indeed.com for employment for remote data entry position & this business Angelo Elite Inc emailed me to download the Signal app and text Mrs Rachel at 562-228-0287 to schedule my interview. I texted her and immediately received a text back & scheduled the interview for the same day. No instructions were left and I asked how will the interview be whether through virtual or via phone call. This person stated through text and it'll be about 30 minutes. Never had an interview over text I immediately deleted the account and blocked them. Please be careful

This was a posting on indeed.com for a job. I gave my resume for it. I have emails from them too they wanted me to download and app called

signal for an interview.

Sutherland Global places false job advertisements online to conduct mass hiring. I was apart of a mass recruitment for Property and Casualty Insurance Advisor. Once I was hired in training I found out it was not a Insurance sales job but an service/admin job and when I inquired about it I was wrongfully terminated less than a month upon hire. Please be aware this company job postings as they are not what they say it is, even after speaking to a recruiter and a manager upon hiring all lied. My then manager apologized to me for what they did and asked me to give a chance this other role, then terminated me without any cause. They all lie to fulfill their sales goals, and have been reported to dept of labor and NY attorney generals office. Please be careful with these companies out here, they do not care about you or your life just what they need to meet their goals.

Which not legal!!
