I received an email from Geek Squad that said I was charged $333 for a 36 month subscription that I've never used Geek Squad never signed up for Geek Squad and it gave the number that I provided above to call within 48 hours if I did not authorize this charge. I called the number the first person hung up on me then I called back and the second person whose name was Darren said that he needed to hang up and have his supervisor call me back whose name was Jack and he wanted me to go to the Play store and download something and I said absolutely not I feel that this is a scam I requested the last four numbers of the card that they charged the $333 to they said that they could not reveal that information but if I downloaded this thing from the place store they could refund me my money I said absolutely not this is happened I feel that this is a scam and they hung up the phone on me I do have the entire email and I don't know what country it's from the email that I put in the chat box above that it came from is not a legitimate email but they were Indian I don't know if it comes from the United States or India or but I'm in the United States and I would and will like to call during your business hours and I would like to forward the entire email to you. I do believe I covered the information about the scammer the product they were trying to find out if I was on my computer or my phone what device I had and they were trying to refund my money but wouldn't give me the last four numbers of the card used and I don't even have a card that has $333 on it I do believe that they were trying to get me to download something so they can get more of my information and then get money from me. When I said that I'm not downloading anything and I believe that this is a scam he hung up the phone on me.

I called phone number (520 689 4438) shown on email for Geek Squad computer protection of $398.98 to cancel protection. I should have called the official Geek Squad number in my phone to check if this was valid first but l forgot to do that. I figured out it was fraud when they asked me to go to CVS and send them a gift card for the money. I called my account we were using first (BANK OF AMERICA) and closed my debit account and opened a new one so they couldnt take any money. Unfortunately, now they have my SS # too.

Received invoice from fake Best Buy Geek Squad company congratulating me on my new 2 year service that they will be debiting my card for in the amount of $572.99. I called the number on the invoice and informed them I have never purchased any services from them and I would be reporting the incident to the fraud department of my bank. The rep then yelled at me, told me to do whatever I want, and hung up in my face. They would not confirm what financial information of mine they had, they actually tried to get personal financial information from me to "confirm" mu account. I reported the company to all of my financial institutions.

This Scammer, or another one using Geek Squad's identity, has sent me an email confirming an annual "auto-renew" option and confirming payment of $585.00 for my Mac or Windows. I have never set up this type of account and have called our local Geek Squad who confirmed that these emails are not from them. If I am charged this amount I will be filing a police report as well.

No money was taken, and false invoice appeared to come from a personal gmail account. Email invited family member to call their number if they wanted to dispute the charge. Family member called, and was asked about the type of computer used, and which internet browser was being used. Family member hung up before more questions were asked.

I received an email from Geek Squad stating they successfully renewed my Device Care until the new expiration date. This was supposedly for 24/7 tech support. I called to cancel because I did not know this service. The man on the other end tried to get my phone contact and wanted to know what kind of computer I was on. I told him to cancel immediately, and he kept stalling and then became very angry. The man sounded like a person from India. I reported the scam to my place of employment to alert the tech department and have them warn others, check my bank accounts, and fill out this form. The man from Geek was named Matteo Graves, Customer support. The email address on the invoice was [email protected]. No address was on the invoice. Therefore, I do not know where the call originated from.
