I was sent the following message on 19May2025 at 0737 hours

Hello, I'm Julian Hayes from the Human Resources team at We Work Remotely. We recently came across your excellent resume and would like to introduce you to a job opportunity that pays over $10,000 per month!

I have been looking for a job for a few months with no luck and finally I got an answer (or at least I thought) I was contacted by a Sarah Lane from SoundCure she asked for my resume and I provided it which has all my personal information and history. I was even given a link to their website and a link to take an assessment which I did and then I was sent an offer letter which I signed (with my actual signature) I was supposed to start on Monday May 19th, 2025 - they asked what bank I use which I gave them because she sounded professional and the site and assessment looked and seemed legitimate. Also, because I had a signed offer I even turned down other employment opportunities because I thought I had a job. When “Sarah” first emailed me it was May 7th we emailed back and forth 6 times and on May 8th 4 times and not a sound since I have sent a few follow up emails and even tried to send an email to their main email that’s on their site, with no response and I was growing inpatient b/c I had no idea what time or where I was supposed to start on Monday and when I started to to try and find the person who signed my employment agreement, Chief Operating Officer, Thomas S. Holmes I started to notice there isn’t anyone listed as employees on LinkedIn and he didn’t come up in google, then I read that their company was out of business so then I searched their company on your site and nothing came up then I saw the the button for I think I am being targeted/scammed which by typing in “Sarah’s” email in I saw that the same exact thing happened to others, and then I knew that I was scammed and I’m not the only one. So now here I am with everything from my address to my gender, signature and my all my history is exposed and I am still out of work because someone scammed me.

My boyfriend received a text message saying that a woman named Emily from the company’s HR Team received his job application on May 7th. However, my boyfriend said that he didn’t remember applying for that company on neither Indeed nor Craigslist. They said that he was able to interview on May 8th between 11 am and 1:30 pm. He confirmed his availability for an interview and they sent a confirmatory email from a different email domain than the company he was going to interview for. The email provided an address where the interview was taking place and instructions.

Something was off to me, so I looked up the address on Reddit, and on the NYCJobs forum, multiple people have said that the address provided was a scam.

Although my boyfriend didn’t go to the interview, I still wanted to report the incident.

At 937 AM ET I got a text from that email that said:

Hello, I'm Rachel a Recruiting Representative at (Adecco Staffing). Your resume has been recommended by several online recruitment companies, and we’d like to offer you a remote position. This flexible role involves assisting (Adjust) merchants with data updates, visibility, and bookings. We provide free training.

You can work 60 to 90 minutes daily and earn $200 to $500 per day. The base salary is $800 for every 4 days worked, with a 5-day paid probation period. I received a suspicious text message (to which I did not reply, but instead searched online to determine credibility) from the email “[email protected]” I do not know how they got my phone number, but I do perform remote work, so I wonder if this may be a phishing attempt related to one of the sites I use (purely speculative, I have no evidence of a correlation).

I, too, received an email from Lauren at Olusegun Organization thanking me for my application (never submitted one). It appears "Lauren" obtained my information from a Careerbuilder profile. I have not responded to this email, and do not intend to.

I got texted by the number I entered in the previous page ( +1 (702) 461-0012). They greeted me and said they saw my resume. They introduced themselves as Elizabeth Sanders from the company (OLX Group) and said they were considering me for the job through Indeed. They described the pay and wanted to do a messaging interview. They then sent me info of an interviewing Officer named Maira Aldabekova. And wanted me to connect through Zoom or Microsoft Teams application for the interview. They then gave me instructions on how to connect through Zoom to start the messaging interview. They even included a verification code. I didn’t do this right away that day and then they texted me again the next day to do the interview. I did so and we scheduled the interview and when the time came I did the interview through Zoom messaging. They described the Job Tasks and responsibilities and offered training. They also introduced themselves and the company and even sent me the website. I looked it up and the website seemed legit. The interview had questionarres in 3 sections. After the questions they told me the benefits as an administrative assistant. At the end they acted as though they were talking with other members to see if I can be hired. They hired me and then wanted me to fill out new hire paperwork such as my FW4 form, and DDA form. They wanted to do an onboarding orientation the next day and now I am here. I didn’t fill out any paperwork.

On 04/23/2025 I received a job offer from a fake company named Ship Sential LLC. There was a Google Doc attached to the email with a job offer as well as an application form form. The email seemed a bit sketchy so I decided to do some research and found this site. Safe to say I did not fill out my information and submit. Hope this helps.

The scam was an announcement to recruit me for a part time or full-time employment from Riot-Blockchain. Upon investigating this request, the ScamPulse.com identified this as non-legitimate and a scam. The request offered employment full-time ppr part-time to train for 30 minutes to 60 minutes. The request was to respond to a What's App phone # 516- 412-9525
