I work for the institution and the New York Educational Assistance Foundation concurrently.

The FOUNDATION needs students or volunteers who can work a portion of the time from home. Please submit an email with your CV to Dr. Philip Woods (HR UNIT) via [email protected] if you are interested in this remote working opportunity or know of any colleagues or students who might be together with other important details.

PZ Hiring contacted me about "senior-level" positions for an undisclosed client. They then asked me to upload my resume onto a website for a "free review" and said that they couldn't share any details about the employer or the position for the sake of "confidentiality." The people mentioned on the website are not searchable, don't have LinkedIn profiles, and the headhunter service is not recognized or registered as a business anywhere.

Contacted me through upwork and told me upwork approved them to hire outside of the app. They asked me to download an app called telegram so they can contact me. They asked me to transfer pdf files to word documents as my job. I was sent 5 pdf files. Then I was asked to join then log into the recruiting site to transfer my payment to my account. In order for me to join I had to upload my I.d . It asked for my social or Tin. I messaged them on telegram to tell them I’m not comfortable putting in my social into this unknown site. They told me just put in the numbers 1042. I did that. Then to withdraw the payment your asked to select where u want to transfer to. I selected PayPal but it didn’t work. It kept asking for portal card number. So I didn’t go further and the I went and deleted any accounts I had linked to my PayPal. They do now have a copy of my I.d.
