Received an email about an application from two different people from the same email address. When questioned about that, they said it was the hiring manager using the manager's email to reach out to candidates. An interview was set up via Microsoft Teams and was not.over video meetinf but just massaging back and forth. During the interview I was asked where I bank, my cell phone carrier, my full name, address, email, and phone number. After the person interviewing me was finished they said they would get back to me within 15 minutes after speaking with head department. I was offered a job and benefits. Everything was to be shipped to me and supplied by employer- new apple laptop, printer scanner fax, headset, paper shredder, etc.

This woman asked me if i was keeping my options open- i said yes. She approached me first on Facebook and gave my info to someone to message me on whatsup. From there the new lady was asking for things like where i live and avoiding giving me more information on training steps for the company. I am concerned they may have gotten some personal info about me.

I received an email thanking me for my easy apply application from LinkedIn. I received the email as I was actively applying for jobs on LinkedIn so I believed it to be authentic. The following day I received an email claiming that the original position had been filled but they wanted to interview me for another position and that I should click the Calendly link to schedule. They claimed they would tell me about the position and pay at the meeting. I didn't realize it was a scam and clicked the Calendly link and scheduled a meeting. Then I received a text with a link "confirming" my interview. At this time I googled the email address and phone number to make sure it wasn't a scam. The email address didn't show up anywhere but the phone number was linked to another scam on the ScamPulse.com website.

I have seen this message a few times

- Camp Hill, PA, USA

Called my phone talking about a fake job offer for 5500/month. Some dude with a thick accent claiming to be Shawn Travis, could've at least picked a foreign name since he can barely speak the language.

- Bethlehem, PA, USA

I was contacted by text message, I did not apply for any job, they just found my resume and contacted me.

The names of the people I spoke to:

“Adina” and “Caroline Foster”

They wanted me to download Telegram, do some of their test tasks, and then asked me to give them my PayPal so they can pay me… in cryptocurrency. That’s where I knew it was a scam. I have since blocked their phone numbers, and deleted my Telegram and PayPal accounts.

- Chambersburg, PA, USA

Stephanie reached out to me on Indeed. She directed me to download the Swipejobs app on my phone to apply for the position on an Assembly Line. I filled out all the information. ID, SS card, I9, W4 and the app was not usable at all to find employment.

They just wanted all of my personal information. So now identity theft could happen. What a world we live in…

- Aldie, VA, USA

I also put a search in on Indeed and they reached out to me about a Data Analysis role. When they sent the invite for the interview it looked off. The signature was strange and the email address didn't have the 'recruiters' name in it.

I did a search and it is clear that it is a scam.
