I received a call saying This is customer service can you hear me. Then the recorded voice on the phone says congratulations you have been selected for a cruise. I hung up after that.

"Emily from customer service" called. I asked what customer service and she said "can you hear me" and before I knew it I said "yes". The caller didn't sound automated, though I can't be sure of that. I hung up as her sleep began. It seems like these callers target same area code numbers.
