received a phone call asking if I could hear the person OK, was what was described in ScamPulse.com alert where the intent is to record a "yes" answer. I hung up as I was being given the good news I was selected for a free vacation

"Emily from customer service" called. I asked what customer service and she said "can you hear me" and before I knew it I said "yes". The caller didn't sound automated, though I can't be sure of that. I hung up as her sleep began. It seems like these callers target same area code numbers.
