Said this is customer service can you hear me ok? I said yes then realized it was a telemarketer calling so I hung up then remembered seeing something about a scam like this one. I thought it was from a company I had called about a lazy boy chair we had purchased that less than a year ago and the fabric is so thin we called to get it repaired or I would never have answered the person normally I hang up on this type of call

I received a telephone call from a local number. I answered, "This is Scott" and the response was something like, "This is X from Customer Service. Can you hear me ok?" I did not respond and then the speaker (now obviously a recording) went ahead with some script. I had recently read about calls where they try to get you to say "Yes" so that they can then charge you for some service and use your recorded "Yes" response to show you had agreed to the purchase. I hung up.

I got a call from 'customer service'. They immediately asked if i could hear them. I responded yes, then realized what i had done and hung up immediately. The line is constantly busy now and no one will return my call.

This sounds like a local scam that has been happening in the Nashville area with 615 phone numbers.

I received a phone call. The lady said Hi this is (name) from customer service, can you hear me? I don't remember the name she said. But she sounded very friendly. I hung up right away.

caller called and said he was with customer service. asked if I could hear him ok. it was early in the morning and I wasn't quite awake so I said yeah, he then went into you've won a vacation to Disneyland and I said not interested and hung up. I hope nothing comes of this.

The gentlemen said, "Hi, this is *can't recall name* from the customer service department, can you hear me okay?" and I said, "Yes," and then I could tell it was a recording so I immediately hung up. I'd heard about these scams before, but it happened so fast I didn't think fast enough, and we are in the process of looking for new cars so it wouldn't surprise me if we received a call from a customer service department.

on friday 2/17/17 i recieved a call from 2014279891 when i pick up the call. the voice on the other end said this is josh from customer service can you hear me ok. i hung up.

Received phone call from 402-769-0206 . Scammer asked about ability to hear conversation, identified as customer service. Forgot to hang up before saying "yes" then remembered about the "YES" answer with that robocall scam. Caller giving away free trip/vacation to somewhere. Call occurred 2-17-2016 approximately 3:20 pm through my cell phone number. Caller ID from NEBRASKA.

Recorded voice said that her name was Emily(I think) and that she was from Customer Service. Then she asked if I could hear her okay. Then she began talking about the vacation that I was to receive and I hung up.

Phone rang at work, Caller ID said Fort Worth, TX.

Person on other end said they were calling from "customer service", and then asked if I could "hear them ok?". I said yes without thinking, and as I was hanging up the phone, I could hear the person (or recording) saying that I was selected for a Disney vacation.
