Person stated they were from customer service. "Asked can you hear me?" said yes. Person stated I won a vacation & I hung up.

Asked can you hear me? Unfortunately I said yes then realized what I had done and hung up. When the number is called it is answered with Thanks for calling the survey you were called for is now closed please press 9 to be removed from our mailing list.

I received a call starting with "can you hear me" I answered yes, then recalled what I had seen on the news about the scam, he was starting to tell me how I had qualified for a vacation as I hung up on him.

Hi, this is Phil ftom Customer Service. Can you hear?

Unaware of scam and answered 'yes I can'. He continued on saying how I won a Disney trip, asked if I was interested. I said No, not interested as he talked over me and I hung up immediately. Call happened today, 2/11 @ 9:06am reporting incident 2/11. Husband informed me of the scam.

"Josh from customer service" asked if I could hear him ok, and I said yes. Then I immediately remembered seeing on Facebook a warning about recording you saying yes to use in a scam for proving old to purchase something, and I hung up.

Received a call on my cell phone at 4:38 pm on Feb. 8th 2017. The caller identified himself as Josh with customer service (did not indicate what customer service) and asked "can you hear me?" I didn't respond and immediately hung up. I had heard on the news that was a recent scam making it's rounds where the caller was trying to get you to say YES.

The Can You Hear Me Scam, came thru on my company phone and I was distracted and said YES prior to realizing what was going on so I answered their other 2 questions NO and then they hung up.

said he was from customer service & asked if I could hear him. I said yes, then he offered me a free vacation to Disney World. At that point I knew I had been scammed & I said "go to hell" & I hung up. I called the number on my caller ID & a message said that the survey was closed & if I wanted to get on the do not call list to press 9, which I did only to see the message on the ScamPulse.com web site that I shouldn't have done that.

Now I have to wait to see what happen next. I did not give him any account numbers or names.

Same type of scam as the "Can you hear me" scam only the question being asked is "I would like to speak to the homeowner, are you (said my name). I responded with "Speaking". They then kept asking questions that would normally be answered with a yes or no under the disguise of being energy efficient because of the carbon tax/footprint. They said my address and wanted me to confirm. This is when I terminated the call. We have received a total of four calls of this type within a half hour.

Received a phone call. There was a delay and then a recording started " Hi, this is Jim from customer service. Can you hear me ok?"

My cell phone rang, I answered. The person said this is customer service can you hear me? I thought it was someone from my work since I was out on a work site visit, and when I said yes, they hung up. When I called the number back, it said the survey was now closed and the call ended. The number did show on my caller ID. It was 314-627-1434.

Caller stated "this is Josh from customer service, can you hear me?" did not give from where he was calling. I had heard about this a week or so ago so I did not answer, I just hung up.

Received phone call stated "This is josh from the customer service department, can you hear me Ok?" I responded "Yes" there was a pause and then continued "Ok good you've been preselected to win a vacation " and that's when I hung up. I believe it to be the "can you hear me" scam that I read about.
