Golden Jackpot Sweepstakes Reports & Reviews (12)

Received a call today from "Joe Martinez" (615) 866-5200 telling me that he was from the American Gaming Assn. He told me that he was checking to make sure I had received the package reserved for me with the Golden Jackpot and gave me this number to call: (702) 765-4400 to give them claim #1972US. My husband and I figured it was a scam but called to see what they would say. After talking to three different people, they verified my claim number and said that I had won second place ($950,000.00) in the Golden Nugget/MGM Golden Jackpot. Yes! they have my phone number, my name and my address! They said that they had sent me a letter that I needed to sign and have notarized for the Federal Gaming Commission. I did not receive a letter and I did not call them back. Thank you for all the comments. These type people need to be exposed and stopped from harming others.

I was Called the beginning of last week and told that I had won $950,000
And then directed to A MRS. LINDA FRANCO who claimed she was with the United States Financial Crimes enforcement Department for the United States
Her number that she gave me is 1-877-698-3197 She said That indeed
the phone call was being recorded and that I was being notified because indeed I was the second place winner of that price which was $950,000 and that if I wanted Verification to call A Don Wilson in Las Vegas at 702-997-1188 which I did and was affirmed as the winner by giving a clm# of GJ1426-07 and I was skeptical still right away but the individual assured me that indeed I Wass the intended recipient and I stated to him that if anyone wins there is nothing given upfront whereas he then stared that was true and that for that reason, Their partners had agreed to pay half of the fee to guarantee my eligibility and all I had to come up with was the other half!
I told them I didn't have it and they said to come up with it somehow! A credit card, or loan. I was to be paid Tomorrow, Tuesday July the sixth because of the fourth of July
holiday so It's now Monday the 5th of July and I can't even get in contact and I did submit the half of the guarantee money so shame on me but what recourse do I have now to recoup my grievous loss from these thieves. I sent a cashiers check in the amount of $4,750.00 To a Fabrisio Arias 14115 Owen St. Fontana, California 92335
Overnight Delivery/No Signature Required Because MRs. Franco said that He wasn't always in his office! I was told that this was an ID Bond Fee!
And always assured that this transfer to my account would take place with my bank properly on the sixth of July I am so distraught now knowing that this was no doubt a scam of moneys that I certainly do not have! What do I do now?

I got a call from a Jennifer Avala with American Gaming Assoc. Out of New Jersey at 973-685-5300 She informs me that I won $950,000 from Golden Jackpot Promotions affiliated with The Golden Nugget out of Las Vegas NV. She then told me I needed to contact Edward York with Victim Crime Protection out of N Y at 646-502-8500. I contacted him and he went into this whole spill that I was 2nd place winner from the GJ promotions and that they had sent me a registered letter back on 4-2-2021 and that I signed for it (which I didn't). Then he tells me I needed to meet with a representative with GJ promotions and a CPA at a Federal Secured Bank and that I would need to pay a secure bond of $1900.00 to the CPA. I kept asking questions, because I have won a huge jackpot before and didn't have to pay nothing and the winnings were deposited directly into my bank acct. Mr. York said he needed to set up the meeting then call me back. In the meantime I did my homework and seen all these other reviews here. Do I confirmed it's a SCAM! Mr. York called back, but before he could say much I confronted him and let him know that I know it's a SCAM and hung up on him. BEWARE!

I just got a call from the same guy saying exactly the same thing. I am waiting for a call back so I can waste his time likje he did mine.

Just got a call from Michael Peters at Consumer & Regulatory Affairs, 513-373-4955. Said I won $950,000 from the Golden Jackpot Sweepstakes and Promotions! I knew it was a scam from the beginning, but I like messing with folks like this. He said I had to call the FTC at 202-391-0988 (actual phone number of the FTC is (202) 326-2222). Gave me a case number too. Please don't fall for such nonsense.

I received a voice mail from Edward York with the American Gambling Assn. He told me I had a pending us currency jackpot with the Golden Jackpot in Nevada from 3 years ago. This person had my phone number and address - I gave him no information. He said my Federal Security Code is CIA-G.us375 and to Call the golden jackpot people at 702-997-1188 to verify my $950,000 - that I was only one of three winners. You know, this is all CRAP! The THING I am worried about is this person told me my phone number and address! without me giving any information. It was on my voice mail.

I received a call saying I won $950000. They said I missed the letter and deadline. . So they are asking I pay $4000+ from me to pay for registration and insurance. They said they could help me finance the money. They said the money must be insured before they can release it. These are the phone numbers that I had correspondence from. (226 )553 - 0006, (702) 997- 1188 and Paul Moore from the FCC (202) 391- 0988

- Bloomington, IN, USA

Got a call from US Customs Indianapolis Airport saying I had a delivery from Golden Jackpot Sweepstakes and that it couldn't be delivered because of the amount of the check which they said was $950,000. They said I had to pay for insurance for the delivery but they couldn't take the money. I had to call someone else that would collect the money. They said I had to call Mike Thomas at 702.208.2422 and he would help me get a wire transfer for the insurance. I would be sending the transfer to a Bank of America account and that the money would be refundable 24 hours after getting my winnings. I play a lot of lotteries and this didn't sound right so I called ScamPulse.com and they told me it is a scam.
