Quick run down. Received a phone call, message left said that a charges were made on our credit card from Amazon for 379.99. If this was not our charge to call a different number, ( which I deleted already, sorry ), but called back the number that the caller I.D. showed and they answered, Hello, this is Amazon, how can I help you. I hang up but called back a 2nd time and let them know how I felt.

I received a robocall at 10:01 PM on 1/26/21 regarding "a past due account."  I believe, by law, calls are not to be made after 8:00 PM. I have never placed an order with Amazon!

I received a call from "Amazon" supposedly. However, there is massive noise in the background with what sounds like tons of people with foreign accents talking {scamming} people in the background. The first call is a recorded message saying an unauthorized charge of $120 for a gift card on my account. I don't have an Amazon account and when I told them that they hung up right away.

I've gotten 2 calls on my home land line in the past two days with a recorded message saying they were from "Amazon" and that there was a "suspicious charge/purchase of an I-Phone" on my account and I needed to "Press #1" for more information. I didn't say anything and just hung up.

I received an email that appeared to be from Amazon saying that I purchased a laptop. I did not so I called the number in the email. They answered as Amazon and I could hear several people talking that sounded like they had middle eastern accents. The man told me I had to download an app to my phone and put my Amazon info in to cancel the order. I told him I wasn't going to do that and he said if I didn't my account would be charged today. I told him it sounded weird and I was calling the real Amazon and hung up.

I googled “Amazon Phone Number”. I called the number listed: 800-300-9009. I talked to an East Indian Man about the value of a gift card.

Before I knew it he told me he had to phone me back because our connection was bad. I said ok. He then called me back on this number: 512-229-1495 extension 1993. He told me his name was; Sean Michael. Once he had me back on the call he asked me to go to my Apple App and request a new App called Quick Service - “quick service” this App allowed him to enter my phone to “help me” with my Amazon account! Before I knew it he was on my phone...and could even see my screen saver photo of my Grandson! When he started asking me for personal information; credit card number...said he would need name of my bank...and expiration date...I hung up!

I get contacted once every couple of weeks from a txt saying “**** you won _______ from Amazon” or something similar. I tried being nice and ignoring/blocking them the first few times but the constantly get a new number and send more texts. Asking them to stop does nothing. I would really like this harassment to stop.

Caller stated that someone hacked into my Amazon account and trying to buy a iPhone 11 and wanted me to log into a website to secure my account. I started questioning the website and they hung up.

I have been receiving phone calls from Amazon. I answer the calls. The caller states I owe money for packages. Over $1000. If I don't pay my bill I will go to jail. I have never received anything from Amazon. I don't order from them. I see their vehicles around my neighborhood. I spoke with the Amazon driver. He said if you did not order anything it is a scam. I do not have their phone number. I do not have caller ID. I did not pay any money.

I have received three calls from a number claiming to be Amazon. Amazon will never call you unless you initiate it. Since the second call, I have been screening them. The first of the two calls claims that $49 is being ordered from my Amazon account. It wants me to call a customer representative. The second call repeats the same thing with the first one without mentioning $49.

I will be blocking this number so that a fourth call will not be made.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Amazon and telling me that they were deducting $1400 from my Amazon account - which I don’t have! When I pressed 1 to speak with a representative, a person with a foreign accent answered, and asked how he could help, I asked him why I got this scam call and why were they scamming me? He hung up immediately.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBERS ON ANY WEBSITE YOU BUY FROM!!! UNDER YOUR ACCOUNT, YOU CAN REMOVE YOUR CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD NUMBER AFTER YOU MAKE A PURCHASE - DO NOT LEAVE IT THERE FOR HACKERS AND SCAMMERS TO FIND!!!!

someone used my email address to purchase a computer. I was sent an email advising when it would be delivered. I contacted the phone number on the email to cancel it. Then they got into my computer and started getting info. What should I do?

Someone pretending to be from Amazon call and left a message saying that I had purchased a I phone 12 and wanted sent to Memphis Tennessee and I needed to pay for this transaction by giving them my account information I do not live in that area and I don’t know anyone that lives in that city please don’t give anyone your personal information this is a scam. I gave the person a wrong name so he could up my information and he came back to the phone and said that he had found my account. He found a account under someone else fake name and was talking to me like I was that person he had know real information about me at all

A caller supposedly from 'Amazon' left a message that my order for $917 to my 'prime' account will be shipped and if this is ok, hang up and the item will be shipped to Denver, CO. I do not live in Denver, CO; I don't even have an Amazon account.  They even gave me a fake call back number for tech support.

A recording saying they were calling from Amazon about a $400 order that was going to be shipped right away and if it wasn’t our order to call them right away. We have received this call several times the last couple weeks. We haven’t ordered from Amazon for a couple years.

They sent me an email regarding an Amazon order that I didn’t order and to an address in another state with my name. I called and they wanted to know my server information to take care of this matter. No thanks cause Amazon doesn’t ask that information or send from Amazon Inc

Caller said they were calling from amazon regarding a potential fraudulent charge on my account. They had my name and phone number and wanted me to open a page on my phone to help them remove the charge. i hung up

I received THREE calls in close proximity, from these different phone numbers. An electronic (female) voice ("Molly from Amazon") warned of a large ($729) charge on my Amazon account. "To dispute this charge," and be connected to an Amazon representative, press 1...

I read about these. Just hang up; don't press anything, even 1, or apparently we risk scammers getting at least some access to more of our info.

Received an email from what appears to be from Amazon but it was not, stating that 2

Laptops were purchased through my Amazon account. Gave me a number to call if I did not order them. I went on Amazon website to get a number to call which was different from the phone number in the email. I checked my Amazon account and there were no purchases so it proved to be a scam.

The phone number of the scam is 1818 963 9202 . Had a fake ID # as well.

The order was to be sent to Roy Guerrero at 113 Stonegate Cir, Shelbyville Tn

37160.
