I get a call from this New Jersey number, they claim to be Amazon, give me an Amazon order number and tell me an order was placed using my account for over $1000 and they thought it looked suspicious so they were calling me. It was a recorded message, asking me to hit 1 to connect with an agent. I did, they go thru the "problem" - an order for an iPhone over $1000 that looked suspicious. They then confirmed my name and as I'm about to say something they hang up. I've been scammed. I confirmed my full name and they had they number, so they were able to tie my name to my number.

I receive a phone call with a recorded message claiming to be from Amazon stating there is a problem with my Amazon account. Their goal is to get personal information to use to get access to all my financial information.

We keep getting phone calls from various burner phones, all saying the same thing:

“Hi this is Molly from Amazon Support, we’ve received notice of a charge for $729 generating from Dayton Ohio, if you wish to dispute this charge, please press 1.”

I pressed 1, and always get the same thing, a guy with an Indian accent, who eventually wants me to log into my computer. I always refuse and they hang up on me. I just want the calls to stop, and I don’t know how to make them.

I got a scam call from (903) 743-3125 which I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. I let it go to a message on my recorder which said to call (980) 265-3371 because I was being charged $279.99 to Amazon, and to cancel the order at Amazon Customer Service at that number. When I called that number to ask what the $279.99 was for, the guy who answered with a lot of chatter in the background, he said I ordered Amazon on my computer. I told him I don't have a computer so I couldn't have ordered it. Then he said I ordered on my laptop. I told him that I don't have a laptop either so to just cancel it. He was speechless and I hung up. (It's true that I don't have a computer or laptop because I'm technologically impaired. I never know what button to press?) If I need airline reservations to be made on-line, I tell my daughter to do it for me.

I got a call from telephone number 321-015-5295. The recording stated I was going to be charged $199 for Amazon Prime because I failed to cancel the membership. The recording told me to press 1 to speak to a representative. When I got a representative on the line, he gave me instructions on how to cancel the membership. However the instructions involved him trying to gain access to my computer by accepting to download a program that provided an ID and password that he wanted me to give to him. When I got to that point, I hung up the phone without giving him that information. I realized something wasn't right.

I received a message on my answering machine from someone saying they were with Amazon. The phone number was 754-231-8082. They are taking $529 out of my checking account. I don't use Amazon. I did not answer the call or call the number back.

They told me I was hacked. but I was scammed by these people supposedly working for Amazon. They told me they were going to pay me $600 and instead took $700 and deposited into cash app where then where went to bit coin. I cannot retrieve the money. If there’s anyway I can get my money back I would deeply appreciate a answer thank you.

I received an email from what seemed to be Amazon. I called the number on the email and that’s when everything started going crazy. He wanted us to go to Publix and get 2 ebay cards so that he could link them to something. While he waited for the us to get to the store, I called the Amazon number on my account. They told me to hang up with them and we did.

I received a voicemail from someone claiming to be from Amazon Prime saying they were gonna take $199 from my bank account. They gave a different number to call back. When I called a man answered and I told him there must be a mistake I don't use Amazon he hung up. When I called right back the same man answered and I told him again I needed the account corrected because I don't shop Amazon he once again immediately hung up.

I received a phone call from +1-905-502-4453. I answered (assuming it was a scam) and there was an automated message that someone had spent $1500 on an iPhone through my Amazon account. There were two options: 1 (no explanation what that would do) or 2 (decline charges). I pressed 2 and spoke to Henry, a man with a strong Indian accent and clearly in call center. He asked me if the charge was fraudulent and if I accepted charges, then sent me to http://www.consumerid.net/. He told me to press "refund 2" and it initiated a download of TeamViewer. I said I didn't need help filling out the form and he told me that I didn't have access to the form otherwise. At that point, I told him I knew it was a scam. After talking to him for a bit (just to keep him on the line at that point), he told me he loved me and that he wanted to leave the business but couldn't find a job. I said I was reporting him and he told me I should talk to his brother, Steve, the senior supervisor at ScamPulse.com and the FTC. He transferred me to Steve and Steve told me he was the senior supervisor (not of anything). I asked if he was the supervisor of the ScamPulse.com and FTC and that that role wasn't a thing. He hung up. I tried calling back the number, but I received a "mailbox full" message.

It started with an automated voice claiming something about fraud on my amazon account and to press 1 to be directed to the fraud department. I was then connected with a woman who gave me her name and ID number and claimed someone had used my account to buy a new iPhone for a price over $300 dollars. When I stated I didn't see it on my order list she said it was from an experienced hacker who used software to keep it from showing up on my account. When I asked for proof or a call back number she was not able to give one but frantically stated that if I didn't fill out the form within 30 minutes I would not be able to refund my money. I took a "chance" and hung up and contacted amazon who said my account was fine and it was fraud. The really odd thing is when I called the number back that they used it led to the bbb.org's call center. Just be aware.

Caller said they were with Amazon, that someone with last name of Martin in New York hacked my Amazon account and bought an iPhone for $899. They wanted me to go through several steps to fix the problem. Heavy accent, lots of background noise.

The person represented themselves as an employee of Amazon on-line shopping services. They stated that they were verifying a recent purchase on my Amazon account of an I-Phone. The location for the shipment was not known to me, but I did not tell the representative anything at that point. They wanted to verify the order and confirm estimated delivery time. I informed them that I did not order such a product. They stated that they would be able to help me with a stop payment request and instigate a claim against the charge. They wanted to know how I accessed my Amazon acct....i.e. by phone, tablet, laptop, etc... I at that point, I informed them that I would contact Amazon directly myself and not through their phone call since I could neither verify that they were actually working for Amazon or that any such charge existed to my account. **No such charge existed. It was a scam to collect my Amazon information. AMAZON CLIENT BEWARE!!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, saying that I ordered an iPhone 8 for about $200 and that it has already been billed and shipped. I called them back at the same number they called me, 6198542293, because I never ordered and iPhone and do not want one. The guy I spoke with was rude and said that I did order it. I also tried to speak with a supervisor but it sounded like I was still speaking to the same man who was threatening and verbally abusive. They said they charged my account by the account linked to Amazon is not a valid account anymore. I told him he was being recorded because I knew this is a scam and he got even more angry and rude, then hung up. I called Amazon and gave them the phone #, they said that it's not linked to them whatsoever.

The scam. A recorded call staying their is a phone being shipped out tomorrow or today by Amazon on your account would you verify. An operator gets on and trying to pump you for info. This happen twice so far, the first call I told the person doesn't live at this number remove me, they hung up. The second call I ask for a contact number again hinging up. Unknown if they ask for money, hinging up when I start to question them for contact information. If they're from Amazon why not give Amazon contact information.

Man said he was from Amazon and that my account was blocked and he needed my card information when l hung up he called me back 6 times, left me a horrible message and then texted me a absolutely horrible text.

Today I received a phone call from a number I did not recognize so I didn’t answer it. They left me a voice mail saying someone had charged $799 to my account at Amazon. I don’t have an account at Amazon and never have ordered anything from Amazon

Scammer said his name is Ricardo Martinez with amazon with an ID number of 4524. He said someone used my Amazon account to order an iPhone for $349.99. He then said in order to refund the money I needed to install two different apps on my cell phone. One was cash app and the other wasquick support. These were to be downloades from Google Play Store.One app, the cash app wanted to link to a bank account. It was at that point that I realized this was a scam and immediatly ended the call and uninstall the apps. Also he claimed the the fruadlent charged was in California.
