Didn’t give them a chance to scam me but they are persistent. I get a job offer for a new place every other day. Don’t fall for these too good to be true job offers.

I was contacted by telephone on August 19, 2025 at 2:41 PM. Contact claims she was a customer service rep from Amazon named Sarah Smith, employee ID number capital a capital M capital Z 19535. Her call was about stolen ID and counter fit accounts drawn up with my ID. She wanted to know if I purchased an iPhone 16. I advised her that I did not and that I have no credit cards on file with Amazon as I use PayPal. She spoke very quickly and it was hard to understand her accent which I believe was either Indian or Pakistani. I asked her to send me an email regarding what we spoke about and the details. She made excuses that it would be delayed and by then it would be too late because the iPhone will go out to 49 Arcadia Court, Albany ny 12205. Should I call police?

The last four of my social security number

- Albany, GA, USA • Jul 21, 2025

They mentioned being Amazon customer service and would end the call when I asked about the purpose of their call. I do not believe that this is Amazon and would like to ensure that this phone number no longer contacts me or bother anyone else. Because I do not have a customer service issue that Amazon needs to resolve and when I do, I contact them directly.

Called claiming to be amazon company. Said I ordered computer I did not. Gave me the Albany address as shipping destination. When I said that's not my address he asked for real one. When I refused to give it he hung up. I do not have an account with Amazon but I did call them and report this

My Amazon account was hacked and my Amazon credit cards and my bank credit card were used to purchase items through Amazon. The scammers locked me out of my account so I couldn't see what was being purchased. I closed my account and cancelled my credit cards but they have my email address and physical address. I continue to get packages that I didn't purchase and Amazon tells me to "keep them" well I don't want them! There should be a way to track them but Amazon doesn't care about that, but I do! I don't like someone having my address and sending me stuff. I just want it to stop. Please help!
