A woman called my mother saying she was from Amazon and they had flagged my mothers account due to suspicious activity and purchases that it showed she had ordered an iphone ebuds and ipad and the items were set to be delivered the next day to a 49 Arcadia ct Albany ny 12205. She asked what banking institution my mother used so she could reach out to them on behalf of my mother. I told her i could handle that and didnt need her to do so she then stated the individuals had set up accounts under 9 different banking institutions. Which was all false so please be aware of individuals fishing for information and dont give them any information.

I received a text with a number to text back (I did not, I knew it was a scam) the name of the individual and the name in the email address did not match and it had tr after the address which is not normal.

They are claiming to be clearance for Amazon. They use their logo and state that it is a trustworthy site. I ordered a Dreambox on January 18th, and it still says it's being shipped.

They provide no way to contact them, no telephone. I thought I could trust them and communicate through the right Amazon website. I would really like my $70. Or I would take the Dreambox at that price. Attached are some pictures.

Voice mail left for me, 30 seconds total. First 17 seconds played 'hold music, woman cuts in saying: "The payment of $1,099.00 for the recent order of iPhone 17 Pro on your account. If you did not authorize this payment please press 1 to speak to a representative." I have not ordered an iPhone. I called the number and when the man answered: "Thank you for Amazon, how can I help you?" I stated I was calling in regards to the voice mail I received. He mentioned my last name and wanted to know how my first name was pronounced. I told him that was not important at the moment. He hung up.

I went on line trying to delete my Amazon business account because I don’t have a business and the number on the internet came up as the one I posted for you and they had me share my screen and had me go into my accounts and then I had a weird feeling and they called me back and I told them it was a scam and I wasn’t comfortable doing this and he started talking about my mom and I locked all my stuff down but I just wanna make sure that they don’t get anybody else because it’s not right for them to do this

I received a call from this number claiming I had an Amazon account and someone was trying to use it to purchase an almost $1,500 computer. When I said I did not have an Amazon account they hung up on me and when I called the number back I could immediately tell it was not Amazon. Is there a way to block this number from trying to scam others?
