They claimed to be from Amazon and said that they had an issue with payment. They ask for bank information and after he hung up he or they took an additional 100.00

I got a phone call they said i bought an i phone 16 pro, i said it wasn't me they said the address who ordered it was 49 arcadia ct albany new york 12205, i said i don't live there, they sent me to a lady who she said was with social security fraud. She asked for the last 4 digits of my ss number i gave it to her thinking it was true her badge number GS173509, she said her name was Lisa Martin she says i have 6 bank accounts all over including Mexico and nygeria them they were transfering me to another person to verify everything i said and they hung up on me, i did put a hold on my credit till i found out something, this is crap why can't they put a stop to this stuff

The caller identified themselves as Amazon fraud detection. He said a purchase was made for $1257.99 using one of the credit cards I had on file with Amazon but the shipment was to be sent to 49 Arcadia Court, Albany, New York, 12205. When I told him I do not know anyone living at that address he said that confirmed the purchase was fraudulent. He then listed three banks that might have been used. One was the bank I use. He said he would transfer me to the fraud department of that bank. I was transferred to another person who claimed to be the bank's fraud department. This person began asking questions and I told her to hold a few minutes because I was using another line to call the bank and confirm the situation. She hung up.

Amazon account hacked for unknown purchase. Paul (Last Name) called 3 times yesterday and 7 times today stating he worked for Amazon and was solving dispute. He continues to keep calling harrassing me wanting account details he tried a second purchase last night at 10 pm. Using Canada address but phone call states California. Beware

I had ordered and item off Facebook that was from Amazon but through a third-party. I ordered it in January and here it now March and still no order. They have sent me two tracking numbers and both are fake. Do not order any thing from "Ada • [email protected]" is all a scam. The bank can not reverse the changes. BE WEAR!!

I received a recorded phone call saying I had ordered an iPhone and needed to verify my purchase. This was on my business phone line I have not purchased an iPhone from Amazon. I called the number back, and the recording said they were Amazon. I explained the call to the guy. He said he needed my name to look up my information. I told him I had never had Amazon call me before and wasn't giving him my name. They called me. He hung up the phone with no explanation. They had me on hold for about a minute before answering. I have checked my Amazon account and there are no charges for an iPhone.

I was told Amazon was running a promotion of 1000 dollars and that i had to buy Apple prepaid cards for the 500.00 each and after i sent bought cards that i would be refunded and all i would pay is 14.99. I have copies of prepaid cards also.
