Called claiming to be amazon company. Said I ordered computer I did not. Gave me the Albany address as shipping destination. When I said that's not my address he asked for real one. When I refused to give it he hung up. I do not have an account with Amazon but I did call them and report this

My Amazon account was hacked and my Amazon credit cards and my bank credit card were used to purchase items through Amazon. The scammers locked me out of my account so I couldn't see what was being purchased. I closed my account and cancelled my credit cards but they have my email address and physical address. I continue to get packages that I didn't purchase and Amazon tells me to "keep them" well I don't want them! There should be a way to track them but Amazon doesn't care about that, but I do! I don't like someone having my address and sending me stuff. I just want it to stop. Please help!

The same as the woman in 2023. Caller gave his badge number said my Amazon acct had been breached asked for last four digits of SS # and date of birth. Connected to “FCC” man asked for info and I asked for the number he was calling from and the line went dead.

A gentlemen named Joseph Taylor from Amazon employee ID AMZ9089 called from phone number 402-459-4498 claiming someone in New York stole my identity. Joseph told me my name and address because I would not share that information with him. He said there was an unauthorized purchase made from Amazon Apple Mac book and Apple AirPods in the amount of $1.530.00 being shipped to an address of ADDRESS. Then Joseph transferred me to Federal Trade Commission FTC and a lady got on the phone. I refused to give her information. I said this appears to be a scam. She told me my name and full mailing address . I told the lady on the phone per Google this is a scam ScamPulse.com has it posted. Also, a new channel 10 said police are reporting this scam going around. The lady hung up on me. However, they have my full name and address which is concerning. I never gave them that information. Both representatives repeated to me.
