They said that someone was using my social security number and that i needed to change

my number. They wanted my social security number so they can seen me the form. I

told them since they already all my info so just send me the papers. I hung up on them but

they keep calling me. I blocked the number.

Has several calls from the same phone #; first call was from a woman and others from a man saying her SS# has been jeopardized. He is rude, says off color things to her.

The man called and texted from Laredo, Texas. Told me my SS number was being used illegally at several major companies. He told my Sscard came from Louisiana. It took me by surprise and then he asked from my number and I wasn't thinking and said it out loud. Now I don't know what's going to happen with my SS number! I tried to get in touch with the SS Office but didn't get answer!

Man left message stating a legal enforcement action has been filed on my SS#. He said he worked for the Social Security Administration. He stated I needed to call before any legal action was taken or I could go to jail.

I got an automated message indicating there was fraud activity on my Social Security number. I called back. I spoke to Jack Fernandez. He said I had wired $22,000. He said Federal Agents found blood, money and cocaine in a rental car in Texas. He said if I didn't agree to change my socail security number, a local sheriff would pick me up in 45 minutes. He said I could get a lawyer to defend me. He had an accent.

Left a message that there was suspicious activity on my social security and it was going to be suspended. I blocked the number and still got through. I didn’t answer the call to see what they wanted.

Received a phone call from a local phone number, saying is name is Adam Kessler, his ID is KL261874, case number is DC1403. He says he is a federal agent working for the Social Security administration. He asked me to confirm the last 4 digits of my social security number. He says that someone in Texas had been arrested for drug trafficking and my name was on the list. He said that there is a warrant out for my arrest. I told him that it sounded like a scam, and when I asked for more information and he hung up.

I got many automated messages yesterday saying there was illegal activity on my Social Security number. I called them back at 504-399-7885. He said he was with the US Dept of Social Security Administration and Homeland Security. He asked for my full name and last 4 digits of my Social Security number, which I gave him. He said he was placing me on a brief hold. I heard music, and hung up. I called back, and he came on the line. I asked who he was. He asked for the last four digits of my Social Security number, I said no. He cussed me and hung up.

I had a couple apparent scam calls to my work number this morning, one left a voicemail.

From: 888-301-6954

Informing me my security account was up for renewal and I would be charged $299 for the renewal if I didn’t call that same phone number within the next three hours to cancel.

I got an automated call this morning saying my Social Security number compromised, there was fraudualent activity associated with my Social Security number and to press 1 to speak to an agent. I pressed 1, and a foreign gentleman asked for my first and last name and the last 4 digits of my social security number. I told him to number mail me the info. His phone number was 614-288-5***

Scammer is saying that my Social Security has an error on it. Then I said, "Take me off your call list." Scammer just kept talking.

On voicemail, there was a message that there had been criminal activity on social security account and that they were going to start legal proceedings regarding it. Did not identify as Social Security or a specific agency or business. Said to call 838-966-2192. Did not call.

Gentleman told me he was with the Social Security Administration his badge number was ***** * his name was Shawn ******** he told me my arrest number was ********. He told me my identity has been stolen and there were several bank accounts open in my name several purchases in my name and there was a warrant for my arrest. He also gave me a case number******

CALLED ABOUT SOCIAL SECURITY, SAYING IF I WANT THE STIMULOUS CHECK TO CALL 800-567-9702 AND IF I WANT 20% INCREASE IN SOCIAL SECURITY MONTHLY TO CALL THE SAME NUMBER. DID NOT ANSWER OR CALL BACK.
