The man called and texted from Laredo, Texas. Told me my SS number was being used illegally at several major companies. He told my Sscard came from Louisiana. It took me by surprise and then he asked from my number and I wasn't thinking and said it out loud. Now I don't know what's going to happen with my SS number! I tried to get in touch with the SS Office but didn't get answer!

I got an automated message indicating there was fraud activity on my Social Security number. I called back. I spoke to Jack Fernandez. He said I had wired $22,000. He said Federal Agents found blood, money and cocaine in a rental car in Texas. He said if I didn't agree to change my socail security number, a local sheriff would pick me up in 45 minutes. He said I could get a lawyer to defend me. He had an accent.

Received a phone call from a local phone number, saying is name is Adam Kessler, his ID is KL261874, case number is DC1403. He says he is a federal agent working for the Social Security administration. He asked me to confirm the last 4 digits of my social security number. He says that someone in Texas had been arrested for drug trafficking and my name was on the list. He said that there is a warrant out for my arrest. I told him that it sounded like a scam, and when I asked for more information and he hung up.

I got many automated messages yesterday saying there was illegal activity on my Social Security number. I called them back at 504-399-7885. He said he was with the US Dept of Social Security Administration and Homeland Security. He asked for my full name and last 4 digits of my Social Security number, which I gave him. He said he was placing me on a brief hold. I heard music, and hung up. I called back, and he came on the line. I asked who he was. He asked for the last four digits of my Social Security number, I said no. He cussed me and hung up.

I pressed 1, and a foreign gentleman asked for my first and last name and the last 4 digits of my social security number. I told him to number mail me the info. His phone number was 614-288-5***
