"Jim" called (was originally a robo call saying "if you don't answer this call or ....")

They called and said this was officer James who was with social security and they needed information. I gave a fake name . They said your on a recorded line and it's a federal offense to lie to social security. I said I would not lie. I heard him saying a bunch of my family members names so. I then said what was that name you just said. He said I didn't I said oh I thought I heard you say a name cause we just got this number and have been getting alot of calls for that man you just said. He then said oh ok thank you and hung up. He had a non American voice.

Wednesday, February 19, 2020 --> A telephone call came in 8:55 AM according to my cell phone. It was an electronic recording saying that an agent had to talk with you about a violation of your identity and to hold on the line for the first available agent.

A few moments later a very thick accent got on the telephone and asked me what the cal was regarding. When I mentioned that you called me could you please tell me what this is about he hung up.

I called the number back on my office phone and got a recording that all agents are busy please leave a message and we will get back to you.

Did not sound like a SSA call to me.

They called on my cell phone but I called number back on my landline. They asked how long ago did I get the phone call and I replied a few seconds ago. They asked for my name but stated if you called me you should have that information. The person had a very heavy accent and started cursing at me. I know the social security office would send a letter and no telephone calls. Hopefully all targets know that.

Received a voice mail from someone claiming social security indicating that I needed to call them back immediately or legal action would be taken. When I told them when I was not on SS they indicated their was illegal activity on my SS# and when I asked for the representative badge number she indicated she was an advocate & babbled off a number, I asked her again what the badge number was as I didn't quite understand it & she immediately hung up on me.
