I received numerous calls today (at least six within two hour span...same number) with a message saying that my social security # has had suspicious activities connected to it and that 'they' want to suspend my SS#. The word 'kindly' was used in the message. I did call to see who was behind this (I gave no information). I guy with a foreign accent answered and he called himself 'Officer Slater'. I reminded him that everyone knows the Social Security Admin would not call but send a letter...that I will get the FBI after him. After that, I hung up the phone on him. He hasn't called me back.

They called and said this was officer James who was with social security and they needed information. I gave a fake name . They said your on a recorded line and it's a federal offense to lie to social security. I said I would not lie. I heard him saying a bunch of my family members names so. I then said what was that name you just said. He said I didn't I said oh I thought I heard you say a name cause we just got this number and have been getting alot of calls for that man you just said. He then said oh ok thank you and hung up. He had a non American voice.

Voice mail says her SS# has had a complaint filed against it and her drivers license as well. Asked that she be called back. Computer generated voice.

Wednesday, February 19, 2020 --> A telephone call came in 8:55 AM according to my cell phone. It was an electronic recording saying that an agent had to talk with you about a violation of your identity and to hold on the line for the first available agent.

A few moments later a very thick accent got on the telephone and asked me what the cal was regarding. When I mentioned that you called me could you please tell me what this is about he hung up.

I called the number back on my office phone and got a recording that all agents are busy please leave a message and we will get back to you.

Did not sound like a SSA call to me.

Repeat calls from caller who says they’re from social security they say my ss number will be blocked or something.wanted me to call them at a number.I did not I just hung up.

I received a call from a number stating that there were some legal issues associated with my social security number and I need it's a call back to the number listed which was not the social security office. They did however state it was the number to social security.

this caller has called three times in one day. they tell me my social security number has been suspended for some reason and i should call back at this number.i did not even answer. they left a message. this sounded like a robo call.

They called on my cell phone but I called number back on my landline. They asked how long ago did I get the phone call and I replied a few seconds ago. They asked for my name but stated if you called me you should have that information. The person had a very heavy accent and started cursing at me. I know the social security office would send a letter and no telephone calls. Hopefully all targets know that.

they told me that my social seruity number has been compermised and i wouldnt get my socail secuiy checks no more i tryed calling these two numbers back and it says you cany get through to this number theres two numbers one is 1-800-131-6978 and the other one is 1-504-453-3917

this scared me im 60 years old and on disability cause my lungs are have cancer in them iv have never in my life had any kind of calls like that my daughter said if the social security needs to get a hold of me they would send a letter first i just thought you should know whats on

Social Security scam calls began 2.4.20. The message is that my Social Security number is linked to drugs dealing in Raleigh, Texas. Documents in a house raid had my social Security number on them. Initially I spoke w/Sangra. She had the last 4 digits of my Social Security number. She assigned me a case file number ***. After a preliminary screening, she transferred my call to another woman who said she was an officer. She wanted to issue me a new Social Security number, and tie all of my finances to that. I said I would like at something in the mail, but not over the phone. She said if you hang up, we'll issue a warrant and arrest you, and issue a warrant from the Bench. She didn't speak good English. Had a Middle Eastern accent. I could hear others in background. She wanted to know how much credit was left on my credit cards, and whether I had a 401K plan. I told them how much I had, but didn't share account numbers.
