- Jay, FL, USA

Received a message today on my answering machine from someone claiming to be with the Social Security Administrative out of Washington DC indicating they needed to speak with me about my Social Security and to call them back at 202-773-1282. They repeated the message, I looked up the phone number for the Social Security Administration in Washington DC prior to calling this number back and they advised me it was a scam. Just wanted to report it to the ScamPulse.com for others to be aware.

A woman called me and had my social number she then started saying how my info was in a Toyota where they had confiscated and there was blood and a murder and my finger prints were in the vehicle. Which is all a lie. I got the same call about 4 yrs ago. 1st she started out saying she was with social security administration and gave me a name ms Morgan I think and a fake badge number then proceeded with her talk. She wanted me to verify my capital one credit card info and then I knew she was a scammer. I called the number back several times and a man would answer but hang up when o started talking to him about fraud.

Pretend to be social secuity, trying to fool people for money.

I got a call on Friday from Social Security saying there was fraudulent activity on my Social Security number and my Social Security number has been terminated. Then he asked for my Social Security number which I didn't give him. I also got a message today telling me to call them back at 202-953-7718.

Another number that has been spoofed to use by the scammer representing the social security administration,"stating that the social security number has berepen compromised"! I have had four calls this afternoon. I have already reported these calls. I called the number back and it is a business number and the others were personal numbers. Please these calls would scare others, however, I know that these are scams. I do not speak at all. The name each time is a lower male voice and it is recorded. There is a request to push a number '1' to find out more information, and of course, that is when the scammer would attempt to get your actual information. There was no information given to the caller.

I received three calls this afternoon and work as an advocate for others, so I do answer the phone. I did not say anything, except hello. I listened as there was a pause, then the scam of stating that "this is the social security office......", then I hung up. Just reporting the phone lines that are valid lines, that are unfortunately being spoofed.

I live in a Senior building Social Security called and wanted me to call them back at 213-588-0061 to verify my Social Security number saying if I didn't, they would issue a warrant for my arrest. He said he called because he was afraid I might get a letter too late. He knew my name and address. I asked him not to call me again. He asked for my Social Security number. I said I wouldn't give it to him, and to please stop calling me, and hung up. The last time this fool called, he was pretending to be the US Treasury. That time I asked him to please stop trying to scam elderly folks, and hung up. He has a slight accent.

- Bethalto, IL, USA

He said an officer from Social Security wants to speak to me about my fraudulent usage of my social security number that was used in Texas. It was a recording. When the recording is over it asked me if i want to speak to this officer. I said yes. He sounded from Indian decent and when i said this call is fraudulent and i was going to turn him over to authorities he hung up.

Thursday, August 20, 2020 message on my answering machine:

"Certified Document and a warrant has been attached to your name with your

Social Security number. We have scheduled to serve you the warrant tomorrow from 3:00pm-5:00pm. If we are not able to gain your signature at that time, we will then have to serve you at your local Sheriff's Department. At which point, media and law enforcement will also be involved.

If you fail to appear at the Sheriff's Department, this case will be prosecuted without you and your benefits will be suspended. For any questions prior to the arrival of documents you have one last chance to contact our Department at Social Security Office Administration.

The number is 332-230-0311; I repeat it 332-230-0311.

By this call you have been officially notified. Thank you"

I answerd the phone at my elderly parent's house. A man with a foreign accent said there was illegal activity on my parents social security number, and they were sending someone to the home to make an arrest. He wanted their names, addresses, bank account numbers and any other identifying information in order to make sure the filing takes place. I did star 69 and the number came back to **** *** at 614-538-****. I called it back, and the message was the number was not in service.

Saying my Social Security has been flagged and they need to speak with me immediatly

Got a call from 210-866-0682 on my cell phone, a robotic message was left "Hello this is officer Jack Cooper from the Social Security Administration the reason of this call is to notify you that your social is being compromised from criminal activities in the state of Texas, so before we proceed with legal actions please call us back at 210-866-0682".

I did not return call.

- Tyler, TX, USA

Caller says the SS calls every day and she answers and they tell her that her SS# is fraudulent.

They said they were the Social Security office and that her social security number was suspended. They left a number and she called and they said her number was suspended due to a car found in Texas that had blood and drugs in it. Once we heard that we knew it was a scam.
