On 1/16/26 at 10:00 am est I received a call to my cell number from 3024459875. I answered call only because I was expecting a call from a financial institution. I answered "Hello" and then remained quiet. The caller then came on and asked "MY FIRST NAME, can you here me?". I instinctively answered "Yes. Who is this?". They hung up. I realized I had fallen for the Say Yes scam.

I got a phone call on my business phone, someone said "Do you accept credit cards" and I said "yes" before thinking and then the person immediately hung up.

Got a phone call from a local number and when I answered he said This and said my name and I said Yes then he went on to say he was a realtor I hung up called back and it just rang I believe it was part of the Yes scam so I protected all my accounts!

Someone called from the number reported and when I answered and said "this is *****" they said "*********** *********" and I said "yes", then they immediately hung up. I tried calling the number back but it wouldnt take my call.

Me: Received a call to my cellphone that was not pre-marked as scam from a neighboring town that I was expecting a phone call from. I answered the call "Hello"

Scammer: "I'm calling about the property you have on XxXx Rd"

Me: The property location was my location of residency. The individual delayed a few second and I instinctively responded "yep"

Scammer: Individual responded "Thank you" and hung up

Me: I tried calling the number back but either it doesn't go through or goes to elevator music for 5-10 seconds and disconnects

Lady called stating she wanted to confirm an Amazon purchase for an Apple computer and headset. I said I didn’t make the purchase and when I went to hang up she asked if this was “insert my ex husbands wife’s name”, and I said no you have the wrong number. Then she said this isn’t “insert my maiden name.” I found it odd she changed names quickly. I repeated that I had not made any purchases and then she gave me the address of 49 Arcadia Ct in NY as a shipping address for said package. I repeated no, this was not a purchase made by me and proceeded to hand up. Very weird call considering they used my ex husbands wife’s name and my maiden name all in the same call.

I was a victim of the say "yes" scam.

Asked me if I was Todd and I answered yes.

Scammed said "that's all I needed to know"

I am monitoring my accts but the number was blocked.

They are the YES scammers. They call me and I answered and they asked if ***** was there. I said "yes, you have called me several times" and they hung up.

I am so afraid they will use my recorded YES on getting charges authorized.

I answered Yes to their question. I called in a couple times asking my number to be removed and then the call would go to dead air and did not hear a hang up however my voice echoing. I tried asking for a manger and was disconnected
