I saw an ad on Facebook from RADVCR for a VCR/DVD player and recorder. I felt that the ad would be legitimate because I know Facebook generally scrutinizes businesses before allowing them to advertise on their site. I ordered the vcr and the money came from my account on March 19. I started emailing at the six week point and was told the ad said 6-8 week delivery. I have all the emails still on my computer plus phone numbers from my call to them. I called the number on the web page and didn't receive an answer, however the next day I did receive a phone call from a different number. I tried to report to Facebook that I felt that this was a fake site, but got no satisfaction or answers from them except to tell me I could block them from my view. I called my bank and found out that I missed their 90-day window for being able to help by 5 days .

I ordered a vcr/dvd combo on an online website that turned out to be fake! I took the matter to their "supposed" marketing partner-SHOPIFY which is looking more like a scam site as well. STAY AWAY from SHOPIFY or any of their online stores!

I ordered and paid for a VCR from this site 3-27-2021. And didn’t receive it. They claim they build them brand new. When I went to there Website to send an email to check on the status of my order it says hurry only three left in stock. So I tried to live chat with Joseph and he said the website was wrong and that they are sold out of them. When I asked about my product and gave him my confirmation number he disappeared. When I tried the phone number the call was answered and put directly on hold and then disconnected. So I called back and a woman answered took my confirmation number and said my order had still not been started. I have asked for a refund and still have not seen anything. No email to confirm the cancellation and no money back in my account. I’m not sure how people can get away with scamming others. It’s not the money it the fact that I had my hopes up to watch videos of my children again and now I won’t get to. I hope no one else falls for this scam and I wish there was more I could do to stop these people.
