Scam. They say that they are manufacturing new VCR's. They are not. I spent $199.99 in February, 2021, for a new VCR. It never came. They do not answer the phone. Their replies to emails say, "checking your order status," and then nothing else.

I asked my credit card company to refund the charge. Still waiting.

Same story, don't remember where I saw their video, ordered May 9th, charged $209.98 on May 10th, first emailed them August 3rd and asked. Got "I'll escalate it immediately etc". After 8 days I emailed: "What does immediately means when it's been 8 days?" Response: "Let me check". August 12th I called Bank of America, they opened a claim. September 1st I got the money back FROM MY BANK (it said "CLAIM", not "refund". I told my bank 94 days after I was charged. Everything is possible. Yesterday I still got a marketing email from RAD. I unsubscribed, chose OTHER (reason) and wrote: "How dare you try to scam me, not deliver, ghost me, then still send me this type of emails? Shame on you!". Today was the first day I goggled for reviews and found this page.

On April 7 i order online a RAD VCR and followed up with an email on April 26 when can i expect my order they did respond it will take 6-8 weeks. So i waited the 6- 8 weeks and in that time i got injured while working so i wasn't even thinking about my order i just had to do to bring myself back to normal. In the meantime i went on vacation and when i returned i went through my emails and realized i never received my VCR so i wrote a email describing the incompetence that you guys are and i never received an answer that email was dated August 23. From that day i try to call the phone posted there is no call sound and no answer. I don't know what happens now but these people should be tracked and punished and everyone should get there money back. Regards. Andrew S.

Was looking for a reasonably priced VHS/DVD combo. Found their website. Looked legitimate, professionally done. Placed my order. Recieved an email verifying my order with an order number. My bank account was charged $229.98. After not receiving the product after 2 months or any notice that there was a delay, I emailed the company. They responded there was a problem in the manufacturing process and many orders to fill. Waited another 2 months and replied back to the again. Never received a response this time.

I ordered a VCR & DVD COMBO PLAYER on 4/1/2021. I received an email from the company on 4/11/2021 telling me it would be 6-8 weeks for my order be delivered. I did not receive my item in 8 weeks. I emailed them on 6/2/2021 asking for a status on my order. They answered my email and told me it would be another 2-3 weeks. I could wait or ask for a refund. I chose to wait.

I sent another email on 6/29/2021 stating this: "I entertained an online conversation via a chat this morning about my order status (again). Your website said you only have 3 VCR Combos left in stock. If this is the case, why haven’t I received mine? It has been almost three months since you emailed me that you received my order. Why have I been overlooked by your company when I have already paid for my unit? I would appreciate an email telling me that my unit has been shipped, the tracking number of the shipment, and an approximate date for receiving my unit." I heard nothing from them nor did I get my VCR Combo.

Then on 7/9/2021 I sent an email to the company requesting a refund of $259.98. I received an email from the company that same day stating: "We are so sorry for letting you down on your RAD VCR delivery. Please know we value you as a customer and completely understand that we failed to deliver on our promise to you. We will escalate your refund request and you will receive a notification on your email that your refund has been processed" I never got an email notification.

On 7/19/2021 I again sent the company an email: "Have you sent me an email letting me know that you have processed my refund? I don’t think I have received an email and when I look at my credit card statement I don’t see a refund. Please give me an estimate when I can expect my refund."

On 8/2/2021 I sent another email to the company: "It has been three weeks since your last email (7/9/2021) to me stating that you would expedite my refund. I have yet to receive my refund to my credit card. Do I have to take legal action to get my money back? I hope not. Please let me know when I can expect my refund".

As of this date (8/28/2021) I have not received my refund.

I truly believe this company is a scam and would like to know if the ScamPulse.com can help me get my money back.

I fell for this scam and had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. The charge on the credit card was linked to an address in Bridgeport OH that Ive found nowhere else online except for in another post on here. This address has residents with the last name Chestnut living there either presently or in the past. The phone number is attached to someone named Joseph Chestnut who also has a YouTube post pushing these VCRs with only like 13 views so this is clearly the man responsible for the scam and Ive alerted the proper authorities. You can find this guy on Instagram too. Seems like a real creep. If you fell for it, look to see if this is who charged you as well search the phone number that charged you and please contact the authorities.

My name is Anna Flournoy, I ordered a dvd/vcr recorder on March 31, 2021 from RADVC and have not received it as if today 8/23/2021. I've made several attempts to reach out but they keep telling me their's going to check into it, but no other response. I've tried calling but the number on file does pickup.

$298.98 is what I was scammed for. I ordered it April 29, 2021. I'm mad about the money, but more mad and worried about the potential for fraud down the road. It also cost me time in getting a product that I wanted.

They scammed me. $209.98 ordered vhs combo recorder online. Never arrived and they have disappeared. Reporting to BBB, and to google for gmail fraudulent practices [email protected] (402)-973-1879 are not legit, hope the [censored] go to prison.

Money lost: $109.98 - Online Purchase from RAD VCR AND DVD PLAYER.

I ordered a VHS Digital Recorder on May 4th, 2021 and never received it. On May 26th, 2021, I chat with Joseph, on June 19th, 2021 again with Joseph and I was supposed to receive it in 2 weeks. Never arrived. I sent a email on July 18th, 2021 and a phone call, I spoke with Josh and he told me I would received a tracking number around August 7th, 2021, nothing received. I received an answer from my email of July 18th, 2021 the same day and they were saying ''we are asking for your patience and have a good day''. I sent another email on July 23rd, 2021, no response. Today, August 11th, 2021, I tried to call and the phone number 402-973-1879 belongs to an insurance company.

I ordered the RAD VCR comob on March 21st, 2021. I recall looking at reviews and finding them to be good ones. Now, looking back, I assume those were "plants." Actors. But who doesn't give it a shot for only $209.00? That's what they count on. I did. It took a while before I realized it was longer than I expected. I got emails back instantly, each time I asked, but always with a reason or excuse about what is taking so long. They said I could have a refund if I wanted one. I said I would wait. Finally I said I thought it was just too long and was going to ask for the refund. They claimed my order was already processing (like "it's too late now"). I asked for the shipping date. They would send the tracking info "soon." I asked what "soon" meant. That's when they quit replying. Who makes a living out of pretending to sell people something? I want my money back. I guess I will contact my merchant, but these people know most of us are too busy to put a ton of time and effort in,to get $209 back. The Merchants may have to refund customers, but they have fraud insurance. No one will chase them too hard. Shrewd, I'll give them that. But they need to be caught.

Very similar to the above. Its been 4+ months since I placed my order. Its difficult though to tell the difference between incompetence and ill-intent. At this stage it looks the same. Paid money. Got nothing in return. No response to emails. Experience is a cruel teacher sometime.

Company manufactured brand new VCR/DVD players. I read reviews which were great overall. Ordered one with a deal of $50.00 off the 249.99 asking price. Received receipt via Email. Said would be 8-10 weeks to manufacture. Called after 12 weeks, said they had been shipped but couldn't get me a tracking number. Called again 2 weeks later and the phone number is now for something else and the ads that were online are now gone. Like it never existed. They did charge our credit card when first ordered. So, we got taken.

I ordered this back in April from a Facebook Ad. The money 209.00 was taken out of my bank account immediately but I never received the product and have asked for a refund which I have not received. They answer my emails acting very concerned, but nothing happens. I’m convinced this is a scam.

RadVCR looked suspicious from the start, but I took the gamble anyway. I could not find any negative information about them, so I may have been one of their earliest victims. I am now finding it all over the Internet. They led me on by telling me the manufacturing process w[censored]ding up delivery. I finally asked for a refund, and it never came. By that time, it was too late to dispute the credit card charge. I gambled, and I lost. I am reporting them wherever I can.

Ordered Vcr combo back in March and still haven’t received it. They already took the payment and will not answer my emails about canceling order or money back.I just want my money refunded as I haven’t received my Vcr.

I watched the advertisement video as a pop-up on YouTube. It showed a piece of electronic equipment that would digitize old VHS tapes that I have. I paid for it with a credit card, and the confirmation e-mail I received implored the customer to be patient and wait 6-8 weeks for delivery. It has been 3 months since I paid for this item, and when I called the Customer Service phone number (Omaha, NB), I was told the company would follow up with a tracking e-mail. I have received nothing to date!!

Saw the ad on Facebook and ordered April 15, 2021. Bank was charged the next day. We never received the VCR/DVD player, and it has been 10 1/2 weeks. After some research, we have found out that we were fooled by a scam (BBB, Facebook reviews, and even YouTube videos!) Also, the company website says they are located in California, but the bank says the charge came from Bridgeport, Ohio. We have filed a dispute with our bank and made a report to the Federal Trade Commission.
