I called Starluck Flowers on 11/5/24 and placed an order for a flower arrangement to be delivered on 11/6/24 to a local funeral home in Bohemia NY. Their website clearly states that they are a local florist and will have same day delivery in Bohemia NY. The guy John that answered the phone took my order. I first asked him if he is located in Bohemia NY and he said yes. I then gave him my order for a Funeral Standing Spray be delivered. He asked me for the deceased first and last name. The information came right up on his end and he had the funeral home information and showing times. He then asked me for my credit card info and phone number along with email address. He said he will email me a receipt shortly and i said thank you and hung up. I was waiting for the receipt on 11/5/24 and never received. I then called the next morning for my receipt, a lady answered. I asked to speak with John, she said i'm sorry John is busy. She kept putting me on hold and acting very weird. She then transferred me to customer service and a lady Emma picked up the phone and told me that she's sorry but there is no John that works there and my delivery was cancelled because it was out of the delivery location and i will get a full refund. I knew something was wrong at that point. I was getting the runaround, John did work there but was busy, I never receiived my confirmation emails or cancellation emails. I had another guy Michael pick up the phone and said ma'm i'm sorry but we cancelled your order and I will receive a full refund. They all had heavy accents and spoken broken english, they were all laughing in the back ground and then hung up on me. I called my credit card and Starluck did charge the credit card the full amount $170.33 on 11/5/24 and i haven't received a credit or email from them. This is a scam and disgusting to have people act like this and rob people. I want other people aware that Starluck Flowers is a huge SCAM and please don't call them or give your personal /credit card information to them. They will charge your credit card, then cancel your order without any warning and tell you they will send you an email and you will never get one. Shame on them!!!

I attempted to purchase flowers online for a relative that lives in Pennsylvania. I purchased on the Sarata Flowers website, in which the charge went through right away (10/22/2024). Then very soon after on that same day, I received a cancellation email with an assigned number and a message that they will refund my money. I contacted via email on 10/26 and 10/30, receiving an email response both times but not an actual refund. The second email, I asked for a timeline when the refund would come through and they did not give one. The business website states that " Refunds are processed within 1 to 2 business days. Customers should see the funds credited back to their account 2 to 5 business days thereafter." This is inaccurate and I am not sure it was ever their intention to return my money.

Ordered sympathy flowers to be delivered to the funeral home. Starluck Flowers cancelled the order then refused to give me a refund. I have a email stating my order was cancelled.

This is a scam flowers website. They claim to be a local business. There are multiple threads about them on reddit for their fraudulent activity. They take the order and don't deliver anything.

I called to place an order for funeral flowers to be sent to a church in Williamsburg, IA. When I called, I asked if they were local to Williamsburg and they said yes. I placed an order and the next day received an email stating my order could not be fulfilled. I called to ask why and they said they couldn't find a florist to fulfill it. I received an email stating my order had been refunded. I waited a few days and did not receive my refund. I called and they said it takes a few days and I should receive it. Waited 5 more days and had not received it. Called and they said it should be just a few more days. It is processing. I have waited 10 days already for a refund.

I ordered flowers for a funeral up north and immediately got an email saying that they could not deliver in that area - but they charged my credit card and said they would refund it. That was in mid September. I have emailed them twice and they said they would refund it immediately - still no refund. When I googled them after the fact there are all sorts of people who got scammed some got their money back and some did not!!! I just want them to refund my money and get real jobs and stop scamming people who are mourning and taking advantage of them. Please help!

I order Flowers since July 30 2024 and they never delivered. Since that day I had call several times and they say you will receive a refund . And is never true . I still waiting for the money to be refunded.

I ordered flowers for my mom in SC, she never received and I got an email the next day saying they had canceled the order but I was going to get a refund. It’s been weeks and I haven’t get any refund and when I call they just tell me to wait that it will take longer, i googled it and found a lot of reviews from people saying they never got refunded either

I ordered flowers for a funeral. The order was taken over the phone. He even said he would give me a crystal cross for free. I placed the order and 10 minutes later I received an email saying the order was cancelled. They took the money and did not give me a refund.

ORDERED FLOWERS TO BE DELIVERED THE SAME DAY: 7/22/24. THEY SENT EMAIL THAT THE ORDER COULD NOT BE FULFILLED AND THAT THEY HAD CREDITED MY CARD.. TO DATE, AFTER CONTACTING THEM SEVERAL TIMES THEY STILL HAVE NOT REFUNDED THE $60.94.

I searched online for florists and found Sarata Flowers. I ordered flowers on 6/17/24 and paid using a debit card since my preferred credit card was not accepted. My bank account was charged 74.25 on 6/20/24. Per the recipient, the flowers were never delivered. I emailed the company on 6/21/24 at their customer service address cs@sarataflowers.com to report the problem and request a refund. On 6/22/24, I received this reply from Margaret Reyes Customer Service Manager: "I'm writing to inform you that your order has been cancelled. Unfortunately, the florist in your desired delivery area was unable to fulfill the order. We are currently investigating the reasons behind this to ensure it does not happen again in the future. However, I am happy to inform you that a refund has already been issued for your order. You should have received a system receipt confirming the refund. Please keep in mind that it may take up to 2 business days for the refund to reflect in your bank account, depending on your bank's processing time." I did not receive a system receipt nor did I receive a refund. On 6/25/24, I email again for an explanation. The reply stated they were having trouble finding the order and asking for details , which I provided. On 7/1/24, I again requested the status of the refund. Margaret Reyes replied with: "Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I apologize for the delay in processing your refund. Rest assured, I am actively working on resolving the issue, and your money will be returned to your account as soon as possible. I appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter." No refund has ben issued. Yesterday, I followed up again and received a similar reply: "Thank you for notifying us of this issue. We are addressing it promptly. We appreciate your patience and cooperation." As of today, I have not received a refund. My searches online indicate that many others have been scammed by this company in the same way.

I tried to order flowers. After placing the order I received and email saying they were cancelling the order and will issue a refund. I have never received the refund yet. I have emailed and called them and was told I would receive it. I googled the company and phone number and read this is how they do their scams. I still have the email they sent me.

Ordered flowers online to be delivered for funeral. Sarata flowers cancelled the order saying it could not be delivered and a refund was issued. Several contacts via email and phone and still not have received the "refund". after further search for reviews - TRUSTPILOT has several complaints of the same about this company. They need to be shut down!

I tried to send flowers to my Brother & Sister-In-Law in WV. I got the phone number for Huntington Floral in WV. Instead I was directed to a page with photos of samples of bouquets to choose from. I thought I was still on the Huntington Floral page. I waited to hear from my Sister-in-Law regarding the flowers. No answer. So today I got my credit card bill in the mail, which included the flowers except it said "Sarata Flowers" not Huntington Flowers. I asked how she liked the flowers. She said she did not receive any flowers. I think my credit card company will take care of the problem, but after reading all the comments of people having the same problem I knew something was up. I don't know how Sarata is able to perpetrate this scam, but they seem to be very adept at it!

I ordered flowers 19June to my friend’s birthday. They didn’t send the bouquet. I texted them twice about money back. They said still processing … another 2 days … another 2 days … another 2 days ! I’m gonna go to police! It’s scamming

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my aunt for her birthday. Order date: 5/15/2024. Order #230871. I placed an order online, the money was shown as "pending" on my bank account. On 5/16/2024 I received an email stating that Sarata Florist could not complete the order, but noted that there was still time to place an order elsewhere for delivery. The $78.43 for Sarata Florist was processed on 5/17/2024. I emailed the company to ask them to refund my payment on May 21, 2024. Margaret Reys, their Customer Service Manager, emailed me back informing me that they will process the refund as quickly as possible. 6 emails and promises of payment later, I have not yet received my refund. It seems to be a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul, but this is just speculation. It doesn't take 5 weeks+ to process a refund.

Ordered flowers that were never delivered and was told and read in the return policy I would have refund in 3 business days. It is now 4 weeks and no refund. Called multiple times and keep getting the I’m sorry your rebate will be refunded in 3 days. Now I’m here looking for assistance.

I gave them my card information through their website trying to buy flowers for a funeral. They emailed me to let me know the order has been canceled but then never returned the money. I’ve emailed them multiple times and they have responded saying they will refund the money but it’s been two weeks since then. I looked them up again and found complaints from other people online who were also scammed.
