I ordered four Rain drums from this website which indicated that a former school teacher had personally made them. That she lived in Sedona Arizona. It said that if you did not like the product you could get 100% refund with free shipping all you had to do was email when I emailed that these were not handmade it turned out that I had to return them to China they offered a 25% refund if I did want to just keep them. I went back and forth with them for 2 days and finally they offered me 50% refund and that I could keep the product. I figured I wouldn't be able to get any more from them so I ended up taking the 50% refund. Many other reviews were bad after the fact but I only saw a good reviews when I purchased the product

I thought I was reading a newspaper article about a crafts person in North Carolina retiring. It was plausible because the article spoke about a specific type of loom weaving that used to take place in the south. So I placed the order and then I get a text from the number I reported from somebody named James or that’s what they said their name was they were verifying that I had no apartment number in my address and I said no it’s a home and then he immediately followed up. If I acted now I could get an extra 20% off and I did a little research and found out I was being scammed so I contacted my credit card company and I’m contacting you guys as well. this man refused to cancel my order and a message to the company through their website and an email have gone unanswered.

Craftfolk is using a heartfelt fake story about Margaret "Maggie" Whitfield who has a small shop in Sausalito CA that is being bought out by a company who will be building luxury housing and tearing down the shop she has had for many years. She was supposedly selling her beautiful bags half price due to these circumstances. The hand crafted bags are supposed to be hand quilted and made with high quality fabrics. They are not. There is no hand quilting, no cute quilted outlines or detailed quilting of any kind. The fabric is printed cheap from china. I have the bags as proof and all of my emails to the company trying to get my money nack amd they would not give me a refund. Their wesite does say they will give a full refund. This issue was resolved through my bank. I got all my money back. I just want this story and website shut down so no one else gets scammed.

Craft-folk.com is a definite bait and switch scam. Goods are not handmade in America as advertised or pictured. They are very cheaply made and nothing as advertised. They want you to return it to China which costs more than the item. Do not buy from them!

They are impersonating a company claiming they are artist from different areas in the US. I order Dot's handmade Bee blossoms. Ot is a fake website. The product came from china. If you look in the contact information it shows the company is located in hong kong. They are claiming to have handmade products attached to a story about the artist and where the artist is from. On my order it shiws free shipping from USPS, but the package was shipped from uni uni. If you google the company there are multiple scam reports. I reported it to my credit card company and they denied it as fraud. However they received false information from the scam company

I ordered 4 bags and the price was higher than advertised. The bags were nothing like the description which said they were individually handmade by a lady named Martha who lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Quilted and hand appliqued, with a tag inside with her name, and there was more description none of which was true. When I tracked the package I could see it was coming from China and the address to return the bags (at my expense) was Hong Kong.

The website indicates you are buying a locally crafted item by an older woman in Weaverville, NC. Instead, if you try to return the item, you have to mail the product to China.

Company list their business as a local crafting company making hand finished bee houses for wood boring type bees. They describe a smoothly finished tunnel for the bees to prevent injury to wings. The product delivered was of inferior quality with lots of splinters and even brad nails intruding into the tunnels. The company has a return policy on their website and I followed their instructions and initiated a return on the day of delivery. I was immediately informed that I had to pay return shipping. After several contacts with them the best offer has been half money refund.

I received Maggie’s Handquilted Hippie Bus Weekender, and it is not as advertised. The item does not have the hand-sewn motifs shown in the listing, and the inside lining is plain white polyester rather than the patterned fabric shown in the pictures. It is mass produced in Hong Kong and not by CA artisans as promised. On top, 90 day return policy is fraud and they dont send prepaid return label as written in website and asking to return at own cost internationally in Hong Kong. Their phone# is not in service either and emails are ignored. Please arrange a full refund and provide a return label at no cost to me.

The Craft-folk website is misleading. It presents its products as handcrafted, one-of-a-kind artisan pieces with a personal story behind each item. However, the bee hotel I received looked nothing like the product that was advertised.

The craftsmanship was very poor, and it appeared to be made from cheap balsa wood rather than the high-quality artisan product I expected. The item felt mass-produced and of significantly lower quality than what was promised.

When I contacted the company to express my concerns, I was extremely disappointed by their response. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the person who replied appeared to laugh at my complaint.

Because of this experience, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. During the dispute, the company claimed that I had never contacted them, even though I had emailed them to complain about the product and had received a response.

The merchant materially misrepresented the product I received. Their advertising states that the bee hotel is designed with smooth nesting tubes that will not damage bees’ wings and that it is made in the USA. However, the item I received has rough, splintered tubes—the very defect their advertising warns against—and many of the tubes were crushed. The product is therefore not fit for its intended purpose.

I contacted the merchant and requested a refund or replacement. They refused and instead required me to return the product to Hong Kong at my own expense. The return shipping cost exceeds the value of the item, making the return unreasonable.
