Sarata’s Flowers website. You order flowers, they take credit card online and then email that your flower order is cancelled. Then do not give the refund.

On 12-1-23 I ordered flowers on the Sarata Flowers website. The 1st question was zipcode to which delivery should be made. Then my personal information including payment. I received Email almost immediately confirming purchase. A pending debit was put on my bank account for purchase. 1 hour later I received Email saying they couldn't find florist in area (Chicago) to deliver flowers and they would refund my money. 15 mins. later I received an Email with a copy of the original bill reflecting that they had made a full refund. On 12-5-23 Sarata Flowers deducted $51.27 from my bank acct. After Emailing Sarata again requesting refund, call to my bank, and checking my bank account daily online for refund, I again called Sarata Flowers. By then I had researched them on line and found numerous complaints of experiences like mine. This company allegedly just formed on 9-22-23, is not licated at given address, and is a scam. On 12-13-23 I spoke with customer service, informed them of my research and demanded money back immediately. As of today it is back in my bank account, but I am concerned that they have my personal information and that this scam was a way to obtain it.

Went to Winnfield Memorial Funeral Home website, under recourses to local florist link and selected a link which took my spouse to Sarata Florist website. She picked a flower arrangement, purchased and received a confirmation email that stated that the order was received. About 30 mins later she received another email that stated that the order was cancelled due to the florist in the area being unable to deliver stating that, customer service manager Margaret Reys, was unsure why and would investigate to ensure that it didn't happen again. It also stated that they'd issued a full refund to my credit card and that the money would be reflected on card statement within 2 business days. Then a few minutes later received another email "showing" that the order was refunded. So my spouse, thinking it was just because of the holiday, tried again the next day with the same result. I checked my account at the 5 business day mark and did not have any refunds from them. An online check of them turned up that their 800 number that is linked to several florist scams, that their street address is a Bank of America and also the fact that it is a recently created domain that has an ad that is linked to Baby Blue Florist LL, which is also listed as a scamon several websites.

I ordered flowers on 11/23/23 to be delivered to my friend. I was charged $78.68 for the flowers. I called the company to verify my order and customer service said to me that they will refund me the charges because they would not be able to make the delivery. They email me an (order refunded) on 11/23/23 the same day I did the order. It's December 1, 2023 and I still have not received my refund. I just want my money back! This company Sarata flowers are scammers! The tactic they use is by sending you an email of your (order refund) they don't owe you they blame it on the financial institutions. They say that the refund has been satisfied but NOT TRUE!

I found what looked like a local silver spring, Maryland florist delivery and called to place the same day order. The man sounded Indian and barely spoke English. I ordered the “thinking of you fruit and gourmet basket for $104.23 and received an e-mail confirmation (#35408) and what looked like a receipt. Then I received an email saying they couldn’t deliver it because the delivery person wasn’t in the area i designated for the drop off and would refund my money. I then called again and an Indian woman said my card was declined which is not true as I called the bank and said it was pending. It’s all a scam as this has been happening to others as stated on the internet.

I came across an online florist that appears reputable and displayed the ScamPulse.com logo. So, I placed an order using a credit card. Within a couple of hours after placing the order from Baby Blue Flowers, on 8/29/23, I received a cancellation notice via email on the same day.

The notice indicated that a refund would be issued in 2-business days and, after about five days, I checked my account; no refund posted. I called the florist’s customer service number and was informed that it takes up to 5-7 business days to process refunds.

I was advised to continue checking my credit card account; if no refund, the problem could be with my bank.

I called the company again on 9/8/23 and was told that the system had been down and I could expect a refund in 5-7 days. It has been nearly two months. Still no refund.

I placed an online order then got an email they cancelled the order, but they debited my account. I've asked twice now for a refund. The order was placed 9/22 It's 10/4 thus far no refund. I have since gone online and read the reviews. Not sure this company is legitimate and even has flowers to sell. I am disputing $57.

Placed an order for my mom’s birthday for flowers, then received an email that the order was cancelled and Mary Williams (customer service manager) told me I would receive a refund in two business days. I reached out by email again since I had not received the refund and Mary told me once again that she was actively working on it. It has been two weeks since I initially placed the order and still no refund. I have tried to email a few more times but no response.

PLEASE BE AWARE OFF THIS FLOWER PLACE ON LINE SEVO FLOWERS *** DON’T ORDER***

Same as everyone else. Bought flowers on September 16, because they offered same day delivery, took payment and then received cancellation email. Then received email that refund was sent. No refund received. Spoke to “Brian” on the phone who assured the refund was issued on September 16 but was declined. He could not explain why the refund was declined. Asked to speak with the woman who sent the email and the same man said he was now “Cathleen”. After speaking to “Brian” multiple times, he hung up a lot, he finally told me the refund was manually entered by him today. Apparently the owner of the company is “William George.” They do not appreciate being called scammers.

- Maumee, OH, USA
