- Fort Myers, FL, USA

Paid for a product. No communication and no product after contacting via email. Disputed with Bank.

- Callahan, FL, USA

Product offer was buy one get one free. $59.00 this was false they charged two bottles and then added a “bonus” item at the end for more money.

- Savannah, GA, USA

I ordered product off of Facebook two items plus shipping insurance. The items were clock with drawer for your gun to be inserted for security purposes. It had codes to enter the box. I keep seeing the same ad on Facebook and I imagine it still being scamming people I have ordered in January of this year and have not yet received product but have contacted ****** the name of the man on the email several times and keep being in reinsure that it will come, but I have still not seen that and this is May nearly the end of the month already. I don’t believe I will ever get the product. I believe I’m being scammed. Do you have proof of orders and proof of communications to ******. To no avail have not received product to this date.

Went to the website just now found out it is closed for now, so it is a scam for sure.

- Lexington, KY, USA

I thought I was making a one time purchase but it has been a recurring debit. I cannot find any sort of contact number/email to cancel. The distribution on the bottle says Minneapolis, MD however the shipment comes from Lakeland Florida.

- Savannah, GA, USA

This company claims to have an amazing tanning product that you apply nasally or orally. I saw an ad on social media and bought the item at a discount. I did sign up for the subscription under the impression I would receive my item within 1-2 weeks. That time has passed and when I tried to cancel the subscription, it stated there had to be a minimum of 8 orders before cancellation ($432!!). This was NOWHERE noted at the time of purchase (see file). It clearly stated on the order screen that I could "modify or cancel your subscription anytime" (this is FALSE ADVERTISING & NOT TRUE) and it does not give a clear pathway to "fine print". This company baits you into buying a product you will never receive. They have already taken a second payment from me without me even receiving the first order! Their excuse was that the product is on "backorder" but can't give any specific information.

They offer vintage Style sweaters and shirts for sports teams. It’s set up as a completely normal website with a large variety of clothing options.

I placed my order and waited for a confirmation email. I never received one so I used their online chat which I never received a reply. I then resorted to emailing to try to find out what my order confirmation is and did not receive a reply.

- Bradenton, FL, USA

Ordered Tshirts on Facebook link and never received merchandise.

They were offering clothing on sale and I thought I was purchasing a bunch of them and all I received was a fake ring today in the mail. They have my credit card info and address as well.

- Jacksonville, FL, USA

I ordered a sweatshirt on this website it's called throwedangels.

Throwedangels.com

Placed the order, order number 1098 online paid for it with my credit card. Not thinking anything of it when shortly later after I receive an email from them stating their warehouse fire circumstances updating info to us apologizing for all delays or shipping out merchandise once business is up and operating again in the next couple of weeks. Then I asked can I get my money back. I got a quick no for an answer. I asked why not? Then they said it got shipped out. So I asked for a tracking number? I haven't heard back except for that they will be up and running again in the next couple of weeks and that we will receive free items along with store credit if any...but the answer to a full refund was no. Why? I feel this needs to be carefully investigated because this has been going on quite often. This has happened to me more than one and I have had it. Money owed to me.

- El Paso, TX, USA

Skid steer for sale ad on facebook. Contacted via fb messanger and got the email of his "friend" he was helping. "BARBERA FOSTER" selling equipment won in a divorce. Payward Escrow inc was the third party. $21,500.00 sale price. "Payward Escrow inc" requesed Identity verification by full social

ID FRON AND BACK....and a selfie?

I had been looking for this kind of equipment and almost went threw with this likely scam. Hope this helps

- Orange Park, FL, USA

Company charged me on May 12, 2023 no product or service was purchased and company wouldn't give me any info without giving bank account number

- Jacksonville, FL, USA

He said he needed a valid credit card to bill for product subscription. I don't know of any active subscription, and if one exists, it should be canceled. He said I could not cancel unless I provide a valid credit card. I told him I need proof. There is no actual website as he gave it to me.

- Live Oak, FL, USA

This company will charge you for more items than you ordered. For example, I order one pair at $15, but was charged for 4 pairs, at $60, and told: "They can confirm I ordered 4 pairs." Then when you complain, they offer for you to pay return shipping, which miraculously is more than the original fee; or 20% off. Their stuff may actually work, but their methodology and marketing is sketchy.

- Saint Johns, FL, USA

Sale for garden planter beds through ad on Facebook. They Sent a pair of garden gloves and said that the order was delivered. Products ordered were 2 raised planter beds with trellises. Certainly not the same. They said I could keep the gloves but they are now unable to send original order or refund. Customer service is through a 3rd party txting site. Email on website doesn’t work.

- Vidalia, GA, USA

I went to the transformer website and learned about the scam

- Vidalia, GA, USA

I am disabled and the ad states that the I have emailed them to cancel order I got 1 reply asking why and I still haven't got my money back

- Fernandina Beach, FL, USA

The website kept asking me to approve payment through Pay Pal and I refused each time. I believed it was going through my credit card. After the transaction was complete I checked transactions on my credit card account and the transaction was paid to Pay Pal. I knew it was a scam the. I immediately contacted my credit card company to cancel and warn them of a bogus charge in the amount of $556.00 was listed on my card activity. The agent told me thy could do nothing until it was posted. I then researched the company, Justin Powers Equipment and discovered there were a number of complaints.

This site offers many different items, including electronics, appliances, tools, etc., at a massively discounted rate. They claim that they buy wholesale so they can afford to offer cheap pricing (as much as 95% off the total retail value). They even offer PayPal as a method of payment but here’s the catch: they will ask you to change the type of transaction to “friends and family” meaning that when you realize that this is a scam, PayPal will be unable to return the money to you as this type of transaction is not protected. Seeing this request, which, on this particular site claims it will enable faster delivery, is a major red flag. If the merchant is offering a legitimate business transaction then the PayPal transaction type should not matter, but they are doing this so that you cannot get your money back if you complain to PayPal. If ever you see a merchant, requesting that you change your payment classification to “friends and family“ don’t do it and leave the site because there is no legitimate reason for them to be making that request.

** ****,

We're sorry for the delay in our response as we're currently receiving a high volume of emails.

We sincerely apologize for the delay in your order as we ran out of stock of the Fadify 2.0 but I'm glad to let you know that we just received feedback from our team that the stocks just arrived. We are processing the pending orders since February. Rest assured you will receive the tracking number soon. Kindly bear with us as we have to ship thousands of orders.

Instead of cancellation and making it up to you, we would like to offer you a 20% discount on your order if you decide to keep it and experience the product to achieve your hair goals when it arrives.

Please let me know if you would agree with the offer. Thank you and make it a great day!

Regards,

Ritzy,

Saw an ad on Facebook for a digital keyboard, Donner Dep-20 88 keys with pedals and a stool. Said it was a clearance and would be reduced to original price once they sold out. The site now only features yoga pants and my receipt only says what I paid, not what I ordered but I took a screenshot.
