I went to buy some merchandise through what was listed as Talbot's having a 90% off sale. I made an order and gave all of my info: credit card number, expiration date, privacy code, address, phone number, email, etc. The order did not show in my email as having been processed. Then I got suspicious. I looked up Talbot's 90% off sale and something online said that if anyone tried to sell me Talbot's items at 90% off, it was a scammer. (Talbot's used to have a physical outlet store in my neighborhood with items at 90% off, so I originally thought it was real.)

I am concerned about my information being used in some other way. Is there anything I should do? I contacted American Express and they are issuing me another card. They said the charge is pending and came up as AMIDRICK, not Talbot's.

They played on peoples emotions using unethical psychology strategies and fake situations to make people vunerable to buy their program then became angry and asked me to leave when I called them out. False advertisement of the program and did not do what they said they would do for the money spent

I purchased two heaters and when I received them they were extremely cheap and much smaller than expected. After plugging in one of them it doesn’t work. I was greatly over charged. The transaction was made not realizing that the shipping was an extremely high. They refuge to refund the shipping. I’m not even sure if I trust that I will be reimbursed if I send the items.

Went to Facebook marketplace. Wayfair patio furniture for sale. Entered my bank debit card information. Was emailed money going to a PayPal account in my inbox. Also received email from another person this was a scam site. Checked Spam another unknown email attached to this PayPal account. I personally don't have a PayPal account. Checked my bank account. Transaction went through. Called bank immediately. Canceled emails. Tried to contact PayPal. Canceled debit card. Saved picture of email.

StarUnion Interactive Entertainment Technology Co.,Ltd. Has a mobile game call The Ants Underground Kingdom. On Sunday December 10th at 6pm CST they posted an in app purchase pack that was listed at $5. Many people from all over the world purchased including myself. 30-1hr they removed the pack from their store so it was no longer purchasable. A few hours later they took away all digital goods purchased with no refund and items already spent they negative credited towards my acc. Essentially I paid for something then they took it all away and punished me for buying it setting me months back in my game play. I wouldnt spent a penny on this company. Knowing they will just take things back if they feel like it and go as far to punish you. Such a bummer have put several years into this game and plenty of money. This is so disrespectful to their players and A SCAM.

I came across a Facebook ad for overstock discounted books. I went to the website and found all books listed for $4.99. I ordered $24.96 worth of books and got a confirmation email. When I went back to the website it was completely different, promoting discounted men’s cloths with now way of finding the original page or products

Fake advertisement. Bought permanent Christmas lights and the item I received is nothing more than $10 thing string lights. I have reached out about the product and they are not willing to take responsibility for what is their fault and refund my money.

Ordered two vacuum cleaners, buy one get one free from what I thought was an HSN website. Order never came. I emailed company and turns out merchandise was coming from China and given a tracking number that seemed legit. They would promptly reply saying be patient. Waited a couple more weeks, emailed again and they said to expect merchandise in 5-7 days. Tracking said it was in my city. Several weeks later, still no merchandise. Tried to contact them and now emails being returned and website shut down.

RISETOR (the scamming business) pretended to be GameStop but when I logged into my GameStop account, I couldn’t find the order. I then noticed the bank transaction listed the vendor location as Belfast, Ireland, so I knew something was wrong.

I don't even know what this site does or even visiting the site. I was lucky I had less than 76 in my cash app account and it was declined.first it was FxSvtrain,declined Nov 4 for 76.87 .

They tried again Dec 4 for 76.87 but changed the name to FLXG Valuegadget for 76.87 but again didn't have enough $ so declined.

I had first one blocked by cash app. But if they keep trying by changing companies it's an ongoing problem.

Happens again I will have to get new card. Just saying: monitor your charges. It's easier if you only have one card.

God bless us consumers please.

They use deceptive marketing to sell cheap products that do not work as shown on their social media or online. Tons of people have lost money on this product because what they thought they were purchasing was not what they received. They rarely put a disclaimer in the descriptions of their post, and when they do it’s on an unsponsored post in an attempt to reach as little people as possible. Tons of people have wasted their money on their product just for it to be fake.

I ordered a T-shirt off of "Hope Doves." Not knowing it would be a reoccurring charge, they continued to send me shirts and charge me..... I then canceled the order and they stop sending shirts. Much later I noticed a charge from "Bonds of Joy" for $8.92, reoccurring every month for over the past year. No products have been delivered in well over a year.

I saw a Facebook ad for an advent calendar (company name used: "watermyself"). I placed an order for $49.99, received confirmation email that stated the order was placed and that the charge would appear as "Homagecust" on my statement. It also included a link to track the package or contact the merchant.

The charge was made immediately by HomageCust Hong Kong. The link just goes to a site that shows that package as delivered.

Product never showed up. They claim the product was delivered on November 24. Used their email tracker to tell them it never arrived - no response. They state their customer service is through "CustomerCare-VIP.com". But of course there is no phone number and the complaint went unanswered.

Disputing with my bank now to hopefully get the money back
