IRS Reports & Reviews (5101)

Received multiple phone calls many times a day for the past few weeks from 818-665-7238. I answered one time and the woman was asking for my birthdate and social security number. i asked her who she was and she said the IRS. She told me I was in "bad trouble with them and would be arrested if I didn't do as she said". She told me I had to pay her money to make them stop sending the police to my house.

I told her I knew this was a scam as I know the IRS will first send me a letter, and not call me. I said I would report her to the ScamPulse.com and she hung up.

I keep getting voice mails stating "IRS IS FILING SUIT"

To return call

It's a recording sounds real if you don't know better.

these people keep calling my phone reporting they are the IRS I explain to them the IRS dont call you and they wont stop calling my number and hungs up when i say i going to report them

They left a very threatening voice mail. Said final notice and they are filing a law suit

They call from a 626 area code as well, identify themselves as the IRS and say that you need to send money right away to them.

They keep calling saying they are from the IRS, telling that we did not made the 2011 taxes and that we could go to jail

Threatened arrest for fraudulent activity regarding my tax return.

For the past two weeks I have received constant phone calls from someone claiming to be the IRS and stating that I owe taxes and a warrant has been issued for my arrest. They called my house 5-6 yesterday. It is very irritating as I am retired and don't even pay taxes and I know that I do not owe anything.

Called from "U.S. Treasury" to state that I have defrauded the govt. by filing false tax return, and threatened arrest.

Received a phone call, left a voice message (electronic female voice) stating: "This call is officially a final notice from IRS. Internal Revenue Service. I received a phone call this morning from someone with a strong, non-English accent, posing as an IRS agent and informing me I was being sued. They were calling from Detroit, MI at 313-264-0401, a number associated with Omnipoint Communications Midwest Operation Llc. Providing their name, badge number and case ID number and possessing my name and full address, they wanted over $6000 in back taxes due from 2010-2014 or said I would go to jail.

They have called my mother's cell phone 5 times today.. she didn't know how to go about contacting you for help so I am.

They call, say they are the IRS and you are in a lot of trouble.

- Clovis, CA, USA

We received a message stating we needed to contact this number, that this was a "Final Notice" about IRS filing a lawsuit against us.

- Atlanta, GA, USA

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be with either the Atlanta Police or FBI. He had a thick accent. He told me the call was in reference to a charge against my name and transferred me to his superior. After a few seconds, another man picked up, also with an accent, and told me he was with the FBI. He gave me a name and a badge number I don't remember. He told me there were charges of tax evasion against my name because of a school tax I'd failed to pay "that could only be delivered to your local IRS office in person." When I told him I didn't feel comfortable discussing this right now, he muttered something about getting arrested and hung up on me.

First it is a recording stating that this is the final notice that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me, then gives a phone # to call back. My home phone was called twice and they gave two different #'s to call back. 562-365-4623 and 310-259-6743. I called the first one back when I got the message and the phone rang once then went blank then dial tone. Now I am getting a call on my cell phone from 270-406-0279 same recording. When I called the number back first a lady answered I told them that they can send me a letter if they are the IRS and to stop calling me, she hung up. 1 Hour later got a call again from the same number I called it back and a man answered. When I asked his name he gave me from what I could understand Beter Henery. I asked where his office is located he told me California but my phone states that the call is coming from Kentucky. I asked him for his physical address and he hung up. I then called back he answered again, I asked why did he hang up if they are the IRS they are required to give me their address he hung up again.

I did not give them a chance to tell me how much I owed but with a week time they have had 3 different phone #'s and calling both my home phone and cell phone.

+1

Person pretending to be from IRS informed me via voice mail that I committed fraud on my tax return and will be arrested if I don't pay. I deleted the message and did not respond.
