I received a call on my cell phone. I answered the call. She identified herself as being with the IRS. She wanted me name. I refused. She threatened to arrest me. I called her back. The number in my caller Id was 918-913-4809. The same woman answered. IRS. She said tomorrow is your final deadline. She asked for my name. I refused. She had an accent and was difficult to understand.

They are foreign speaking , which if connected to a person, you can here a lot of the same language and accents in the background, they will tell you that warrants are issued for you then unless you give a credit card number to pay the amount given within 30 minutes and when ask about any mailings that the irs would use to contact , not phone, they insist that they have sent several. I gave them an incorrect address, which they said was correct and ask for information from me, which was not given. I is all a lot of B.S. Sheriffs Dept verified that they had been getting a lot of calls for same.

These #’s 202-239-1750 & 202-239-1800 keep calling & leaving a digital voice recording saying this is the IRS. & there is an issue with your case file. I finally call back & a strong Indian sounding man answers. I give him my name, & he verifies my address. I said I’m not giving you my SSI # & he says I need your last 4 to verify who you are to divulge private info. & to tell you what the issue is. I gave him my last 4, he says that’s not what’s on file. I tell him, I’m a former Marine on Disability & don’t file taxes. You should know that if you’re actually the IRS?! He says sorry and hangs up on me. I call back, another deep Indian accented man answers. I start asking him who are they really, and he quickly hangs up. I immediately feel that this is a scam, so I wanted to report it.

Call them immediately. It was a very threatening call and we wanted to report it. Other Seniors could get scammed if they call the number back.

I received a call on my home telephone from the I R S. My caller ID showed phone number 719-496-0055 Alamosa, CA. They were contacting me regarding tax fraud. Stated I owe back taxes of $2480. Threatened to arrest me. Taxes for 2012-2016. They asked for a credit card number. I did not give any personal information. They kept demanding the money. I did not send any money.

I received a call on my cell phone this morning. Caller stated it was the IRS. Said I owed $8350.00 from back taxes. I had two choices. Case would be sent to the FBI before a Grand Jury if I did not pay it now. I knew they they would ask for a bank number. I told them someone else w[censored]ding my money. They wanted me to call that person to find out how I could get the money to them. they also said there would be a warrant for my arrest. The phone number in my caller ID is 501-267-9534. I asked if I could review my taxes. They said no. At first I thought the call was regarding an educational loan. I did not send any money or give personal information. Caller said they sent me mailings but I never received anything.
