This company keeps calling and saying that they are the I R S. I know that they are not so I refused to keep picking up the phone, but they call sometimes 3 times a day. Waking me and my family up is a bit frustrating. After 2 weeks of this . I answered the phone and told them to please stop calling me and they said this is the I R S and I said I don't think so. The guy on the phone was very unprofessional and rude and you could hear other telemarketers in the back ground , and then started arguing with me. I asked again to stop calling me and he said NO!! Next day more calls came in and I told a different guy that I would report them and he said go a head , see if I care. I just want to make sure that they are not taking money away from anyone especially the elderly.

I received a call on my answering machine. It was a woman and sounded like a recording. The phone number on my caller ID was 202-697-7005. They identified themselves as the IRS. Said they were taking legal action against us. Threat to arrest us. Charges being brought against us. They gave some kind of badge number 4874. Stated to call them back at 619-478-7741. We did not call the number back. We are reporting the call.

The message instructed to call 817-778-8847. I called the number back. Man with accent answered IRS. I know the IRS does not call. When I started to question him he became angry and hung up. I told him he was a scam.

I received a message on my home phone today. Caller stated it is the IRS. We have been trying to contact you. Call us back at 405-285-3735. I called the number back. He gave me case number 100628. He had an accent and was difficult to understand. Stated I owed $8000. I said that is not possible. I had ny taxes prepared. He kept talking. threatened to garniish my wages. I said I am going to call the ScamPulse.com and IRS. He hung up.

I am calling for my elderly mother. She received a message at 9:22 this morning on her cell phone. Phone number in her caller ID 870-270-2260 and 870-201-2260. Caller stated this is the IRS. Final notice. Someone being sued at this number. They did use her name. For more information return the call. We did not call the phone number. I was not sure about the call. I now understand it is a scam.

I have been receiving calls on my home phone. Caller states they are they are with the IRS. Asked me if I have received any letters from the IRS. I told her no. She said I was being investigated for tax evasion for the past few years. The phone number 240-200-7498 Maryland. She asked me how I filed my taxes. I told her I did it online for the past few years. She asked if I have sent money or received money outside the country for the past few years. I explained I received no mail from the IRS. She said there is a warrant for my arrest. She told me this line is being recorded by Homeland Security. she said I see you have no criminal record. Told me I am going to jail. I told them I don't know what you are talking about. They did not ask for money. She gave me a case number IR852094.

I called the number back on my caller ID. 206-973-7492. They answered the phone this is the IRS. They stated a should have received a letter. I said I didn't. He said there is a lawsuit against me for back taxes owed. Summons to go to court, They said they were coming after me. I thought it was strange because I never received a mailing. He asked for my name. They had my address and I verified it was correct. They did not give me a dollar amount. I do not owe back taxes. I was not certain it was a scam. He kept saying it was the IRS.

The phone number in my caller ID is 206-596-0508. I did not call the phone number back. I know it is a scam. I am calling to report the call. I heard about this scam on the news a couple of months ago.
