I started to receive calls for over years, last week mid-week I started to receive the calls again from different numbers 614--202, 720 area codes. I received a text message from 720 number it stated that I had $216.88 and it told me to go to this website pwcd.us. They wanted me to go to a MoneyGram to send $200 or $300 to reserve the grant.

Connection was bad but I received a telephone call from a woman on 8.16.2016 claiming I qualified for a grant for $5,000.00 and to determine which way I wanted to get it, through money gram or Western Union. I was supposed to call an account manager to verify account information. The number for the account number 315-875-7977. I was supposed to call the number asap and get information verified. I said ok, ok and took down number. I then hung up the telephone.

I first had a phone call from Washington DC area. They called me all day long and ignored it. I finnaly answered it and the person had my address and phone number. The foreign female said I have been chosen for a grant because of my low income status. I then was told to call 1-561-331-2660 and give them this number CB123. I was then told to give them my account number so they can collect the fee for the grant. I was told to go to walgreens and send them 250.00 via western union. Then after I told her I don't have the money she kept talking about me giving them the money. I let her know I looked up the phone number on google and noticed it was a scam to get money and for them to overdraft your account and hung up. I'm on the do not call list and they called anyways and had all my information where I lived and my phone number .

My wife got a phone call at 11:55AM CST telling her that she was eligible for a government grant because she hadn't filed for bankruptcy in six months and her bills were paid on time. This was a grant that didn't have to be paid back, all she had to do was go to Walmart, put $200.00 on a card to activate it and they would put $9,200.00 on the card. They said it would be coming from New York. The man on the first call [(315)942-8164] gave her a number to call back and told her to ask for Cassie. The phone number there is (631)565-7253. My wife is on disability and I believe that this is where they got her name and phone number from. I am her husband. The first phone number identifies as a Home phone in Boonville, NY, and the lady identified as Cassie is in Amity, New York and also identifies as a Home Phone.

A call came in from New York. A man called me by name and said I had a been chosen for a government $8000 grant that wouldn't be counted on my taxes and wasn't required to be paid back. I hung up before he could say more. The same number has called repeatedly 2-4 per day over last couple of days. I do not answer and the caller doesn't leave a message.
