I have been researching jobs on Linked In, as I just became unemployed. Lisa Bui reached out to me and advised she is a Recruiting Consultant at Career Builder. She advised that their company is offering full and part-time positions and have very flexible hours and thought I was a great fit.

She then put her “Supervisor” in contact with me to describe a Maintenance Commissioner position with a compensation offer that was too good to be true pushing for a start date of today.

This morning at 11:13 AM, I received an unsolicited message inquiring about a job opportunity. Due to prior experiences with potential scams, particularly those claiming to be employment-related, I am cautious in such matters. I conducted a brief search and found that the area code originated in Canada. The sender identified themselves as Fiona but did not provide a surname, which I found suspect. When I requested details about the position, they specified that candidates must be over 30 years of age and asked whether I had a valid Social Security Number. I intend to block this contact to maintain security but I wanted to document the incident for safety purposes.

Received a notification of a job offer that was supposed to come from LinkedIn. I accepted the "offer" and they moved to chatting on WhatsApp. They told me there were 2 parts to the job. One included sending money, and one did not. They started out with $10-20 transactions, and then requested $1600. I sent it and they told me someone else in the group had made a mistake and everyone had lost their money. They then came back to say we were "given another opportunity to correct the mistake" but they would need $3000. I stopped all communications.

I was contacted by someone claiming to represent Banyan Health Systems for a Cloud Support Engineer position. The communication and entire interview process were conducted only through email, and I never spoke with a real person by phone or video.

After answering the interview questions by email, I received an immediate “job offer” for $70 per hour. The individual then requested my driver’s license, home address, and phone number, stating they needed this information to “send a check to purchase work equipment.”

This raised concerns, and I recognized the situation as a potential scam. I did send my driver’s license before realizing the warning signs, but I did not provide any additional personal information, address, or financial details. I believe the individuals involved are using the name Banyan Health Systems fraudulently to conduct an employment and identity theft scam.

I am submitting this report to warn others and to help prevent further fraudulent activity.

I received an email from this company about remote positions and was told to contact someone by the name of Sabrina Keaton via Signal Messenger to set up an interview about potential positions. I downloaded the Signal messenger app and messaged her and when Sabrina messaged me back, there were all kind of spelling errors in her message, which made me suspicious about the company.

Same as the original poster on here, I was contacted by Lisa Smith. Her “parents even met in the area” I just moved too, which sadly for her means nothing to me. I attached my email and the quick response I sent because there was no company mentioned in the email, and her email address did not track. Besides the fact there was no phone number and the pay rate was way too over the top. Plus quality control is not in any way possible to be done remotely. Last flag was the email it was sent to, I don’t use that one for job applications.

I found the job offer on indeed as a shipping ckerk position under a company called staff 4 success. I applied to the position and then i was contacted by email by multiple different people which didn't make since and also test messages by multiple different people. The job offer on indeed said that the job is at location however the peoole contacting me stated work from home opportunity. I started investigating the company name and learned that this is a scam its about selling cargo containers. The only information that these people received from me was my indeed resume. Please dont fall for this scam.

Dr.Grace Clayton reaching out via email for a remote job offer. I had a weird feeling about it. Their website seems fake and they don’t actually really explain what the job is. I looked up fraudulent behavior through this company and saw the complaint about this Dr.Grace Clayton. I’ve not responded or clicked the link, and sender is blocked.

I was contacted via text stating that the persons name was Katie Moore from HireArt about a job. I got a text from a number in Morocco stating someone will be contacting me soon. I got a text from a Delaware number stating they would be helping me with training. The texts went back and forth asking me to send screen shots of all the steps I had made to get my account started. They asked me to set up a WhatsApp account, a CashApp account, and a Telegram account to speak with Customer Service. I completed what was considered my first day on the job then I had to withdrawal money from the work account. I deposited into a coinbase account they had me open up because everything is paid out via Ethereum. I had to convert the Ethereum to Bitcoin so I can have it converted to US Dollars in CashApp. I deleted all my apps and closed out all my accounts
