Subject: Urgent: Data Breach and Scam Alert - Immediate Action Required

Dear BlueRock Therapeutics and LinkedIn Teams,

I'm writing to bring to your attention a critical and urgent matter regarding a data breach and attempted scam I experienced on April 9, 2025. A scammer impersonated Michael Conway from BlueRock's HR department, contacting me via phone and email about a fake job offer.

Incident Details

1. Fake job offer: The scammer sent a convincing job offer with benefits and payment details.

2. Fake e-check: I received a fraudulent e-check for $3400.00.

Concerns and Questions

1. Lack of transparency: Why didn't BlueRock Therapeutics publicly warn potential victims despite being aware of the scam?

2. Data breach: How did the scammers access my LinkedIn profile and obtain my personal data?

Demands for Immediate Action

1. Investigate and address security vulnerabilities: Take immediate action to prevent further incidents.

2. Public warning: Issue a public warning about the scam to protect potential victims.

3. Strengthen data protection policies: Review and enhance data protection policies to prevent similar incidents.

Conclusion

This incident highlights significant concerns about data security and transparency. I expect prompt action from both companies to address these issues.

Sincerely,

**********

I have no idea what Bonanza is and have not sent out any resumes, online or otherwise in over 10 years. I don’t know what they are looking to get out of me, but it is not legit.

I was contacted by "Kathy Patterson" from "Tapuz staffing LLC" and then "Aileen Miller" from "M&C saatchi performance" for an online job opportunity doing product reviews, they asked me for $1 up front to be able to open the page and work so I did but they ended up scamming me with $450 and then they wanted $960.

The phone numbers they spoke to me from are +1 (206) 235-4890, +1 (940) 300-2147.

Applied for a job, put In personal information for paycheck deposit, W-2 form. The also asked me to download an app. Something just felt off so I contacted 2 friends and one person gave me this link to say someone else has been scammed. He said in todays email " First, please note that all ongoing communications will be conducted via Telegram Messenger. You can download the Telegram app by following this [link](https://telegram.org/apps). Please install the app from the Apple Store or Google Play, depending on your device. Once installed, kindly share your registered phone number with me so that I can add you to our communication channels." I did some research and the phone listed on the company's email is a number to someone living in North Carolina.

I was contacted by [email protected] about a job. She informed me that my resume needed to be ATS approved. I clicked the link and signed up for resume service. it seemed legit. Only $2.95. However Wells Fargo informed me it could be a scam so i blocked the charge and cancelled membership. The lady then emailed me and said that the resume didn't work. I told her I reported as a scam.

I received a private message on LinkedIn to email my resume to what seemed to be a recruiter from Marsh McLennan. After a day I received an offer for the position of Data Entry Specialist in a part time role. No interview took place, I didn't speak to anyone over the phone, and then the recruiter told me they could send me funds for training and equipment if I provided credit card information. I asked to speak with them on the phone to explain, but they told me they were hard of hearing. I then asked to speak with the management staff of the department I'd be working under to ask questions and help put my mind at ease. I never received a response. I then went to the company's LinkedIn page and messaged the Regional Recruitment Manager for the Florida area. Her about section matched identically with the recruiter I was first speaking with. Then shortly after messaging me back that the recruiter is legitimate, her about section changed. This was setting off a bunch of red flags so I looked more into this and found a post online of someone else who had been offered the exact same position a week before. Commenters on the post stated they used tools to find that the domain of the email being used was only created a day before the poster had been emailed their offer. That was what solidified in my head that this was a scam. I reported and blocked both the initial recruiter and the recruitment manager on LinkedIn. Their email and phone number was also blocked. Immediately after I came here to report the scam.

A woman approached me in Jo Ann’s attempting to be a friend. I met with her over coffee. Red flags. She told me of an online international business mentorship but it had almost no details. She asked for a lot of personal information. She used her real name and gave me her number. She also told me of a woman in business who was running this mentorship program who was always busy. This woman resided in Virginia and was successful in her green pro POC organic vegetarian business selling simple products to the disenfranchised such as toothbrushes. She had to take me through several steps in order to make sure I could be “eligible” but she never asked for relevant job information such as a resume. She gave me several success story names and asked me to read and answer questions about 1-4 chapters of a book. She called it a “holistic business” hoping to appeal to my good nature. Their questions often centered on how good natured I was.

Very suspicious especially when I asked them to give me more information such as a business website. They told me that I would get all that in the Education section of their program. All in all, just very suspicious. Suspects are Jordan K. Fleming and Hanane Abdalla. Jordan wore a college jumper/hoodie so for sure they are trying to appeal to young college women or graduates. Watch out!
