I got a random text that just said “hey”. I work with a lot of people from all over so I assumed it was a coworker needing something. I replied “hey” and got a message stating:

- Earn $300-500 daily.

A text message was received on 05/23/25 at 1:09pm CST. It was iMessaged from [email protected]. It said:

Hello, my name is Monica and I am a recruiter at Top. We are currently offering a flexible part-time job opportunity where you can work for 15 minutes per day in your free time. This position is responsible for assisting TEMU merchants with product reviews. The work content is simple, and we will provide free training to help you get started quickly. Summary: On February 22nd, 2025, I was contacted (via WhatsApp) by someone named Jessica, claiming to work for Nelson Staffing Company. She asked me if I would be interested in part time or full-time work. I replied “yes”, and then she proceeded to forward my details to a company. A person named Yulia Havryliuk reached out to me the same day (Saturday, February 22nd) to give me details about their compensation (which included a commission and salary) and she described briefly the job function. At 7pm, she offered to train me immediately on their Flutter Flow platform, but told her that I wasn’t available until Monday, February 24th, 2025. I asked her to send me details of the job via email and mentioned that I hoped this wasn’t a scam. She replied that WhatsApp was better for communication and clarification. I asked her how she and Jessica got my contact information. She replied that Jessica had reached out to me and once she got my ok to share details, she forwarded them to Yulia (my trainer) who then reached out to me. On Monday, February 24th, 2025, at 10:17am, Yulia sent the link and began training me on the Flutter Flow platform in training mode. I proceeded to set up my account with a login password and a withdrawal password. Then I performed the training on WhatsApp, through the sharing of screenshots. Then, I proceeded to start working on the live platform. Through a series of required bank account and crypto transfers (details of the transactions and the description of events are attached), I proceeded to lose $69,070.61 (the money flow is also attached) and managed to withdraw only $3,000.00, so my total losses were $66,070.61. I was promised that I would be able to withdraw the USDT 163,977.50 (convertible to cash), which included my earned funds (salary + commissions + bonus + deposits). Since March 6th until present, I have not been working for Flutter Flow and the USDT 163,977.50 have been frozen. My trainer/ mentor Yulia Havryliuk and Customer Service continue to contact me to try to deposit more money (50% of the frozen funds) to release/ unfreeze these funds. I have informed them that I will contact the FBI, FTC and BBB.

I applied for a position in Zip Recruiter thinking it was legit. After the first interview I was offered a job offer and I had a final interview. As I attended the interview I was told more about the position. The employer asked me to pay money and it raised a red flag. In addition, this individual texted me using someone else’s name.

Morph Enterprise posted a job on LinkedIn that I applied to for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Within hours they contacted me claiming to be a recruiting agency for NYSERDA. An Indian woman named Akanksha Singh called me and it sounded like she was calling from outside at a train station or by a busy street. It was very difficult to hear her. She proceeded to hound me for information and sent me multiple emails, calls, and texts. She sent me a job description, asked for a lot of my information (see below), and wanted me to email her to confirm that they can represent my resume to other firms. I searched online and saw that the job is not posted on the NYSERDA website, the number she used (202-250-3469) has been used in job scams for the Washington DC government, and the business location on the website does not exist. I blocked her email ([email protected]) and number, but now they're calling from other numbers too (717-346-0558). I've provided the exact working of the emails asking for information below.

They contacted me by email after I found a Google ad about a guzmo site taking applications for data entry. They interviewed me on Microsoft teams, and presented pdfs that have the Grace & Thompson name, address, and website on the bottom. I filled them out. They included the SSN and a link to scan my drivers license. They wanted to put money in my bank account with a check but I stopped.

I got an email of a job opportunity. I then filled out a google form that asked name, bank I use, and a couple of other things (no SSN or anything like that though). I then later got a confirmation in my email that I got the job. The scammer then wanted me to deposit a mobile check and use the money to gift orphanages. The scammer never provided me any details about these orphanages and said he would after i deposited the check.
