SCAM Artist and Thief
We hired them to remove old walkway wood and pour concrete for the walkway. They did take up the wood and left it in my yard and we paid someone else to have it removed. I thought paying all the money up front was unnecessary, but since the guy Joshua was professional we gave him the money when they started working. After the first day they did not return until 3 days later for a couple of hours. I called Joshua to ask when he was going to finish and he said the end of that week. We're still waiting and I am attaching document and pictures.
Please warn everyone to stay away from this company because they are a fraud. Joshua Johnson number is 910-676-9002. He works with another guy named Benjamin Handy. They travel in a Silver Honda CR-V and a Silver Kia Soul. Thanks concern citizen

Please help me take this company and the owner before the court
About three months ago, I contacted via Angi a company called “A1 concrete and Tree Service” owned by Mr. Joshua Johnson. We signed a contract to have him extend my driveway and remove some trees and bushes from my yard. The total price was $4200. He requested that I pay $2500 up front and the rest, after he completed the job. I found it weird, but I paid the $2500 in cash. In my mind, I saw him as a young hard working American earning his paycheck. As a young working man myself, I wanted to support him and felt like I can trust him. That same day, he removed bushes for about 45 min and left. Since then, he hasn’t come back. He ignores my calls, always give excuses like I have COVID, there is no concrete….). It wasn’t until last week that I did some research about this guy and his company that I realized that he has been doing this for years and there are a plethora of people complaining about him.
I called one day and asked for his address this is what he gave me: 1905 Worth Word Dr. I am not even sure if this is his address. I am not sure if the name that he is using is his actual name, I am not sure if his business is even registered. In a nutshell, I have very little information about this guy and his company. I am however determined to take him before the law, and make him face the consequences of his actions. More importantly, I want him to stop doing this to people by exposing him. Any information leading to his address or how to proceed will be greatly appreciated.

Scam!
Lost $900 they claimed the paint (stain) was $90 per can they used 3. I found the same exact paint in Lowes for $29. Finished the driveway myself and I am still hoping to run in to him.

He said it was a "3-day job" and a "turn-key operation" - - we eventually hired another contractor to clean up the mess that he left in our front yard. We waited over 3 weeks for him to finish, all the while with a dirt driveway and front walkway. He is as crooked as the day is long. DO NOT HIRE HIM!
We are taking him to small claims court.
Hi, we were also scammed by this company, I have just been given his home address by the porch.com company he is listed with. We are going to take Mr Johnson to small claims curt if anyone else would like to join us.His address is 1610 Barmack Ct, Hope Mills NC 28348. This man has been scamming good people for years and something needs to be done. He gets upset when you file a complant on this website (porch.com). Apparently he gets a lot of jobs from this service. Please go on line to this web site and complain about him, maybe they will drop him as a client so he may not scam other innocent people.

Was given to start job. They did clear the area but left all the brush piled along driveway with so many promises to come back and cleanup the job. Several calls were made even promised to return some of the money so we could pay someone else to clean up. We are retired seniors! Very disturbing they can look you in the eye and lie right to your face! Do not hire this company for anything!
