I had posted an add-on Facebook private group page looking for a gas tank for a motorcycle and scammer W****** [censored] messaged me and stated he had one and sent pictures and I even had him turn the tank over and verify tag on item and then gained my trust, he sent me an email to send thru Zelle and I paid him 250.00, he contacted me few days later and needed 100.00 to pay shipping and sent a different email to use to pay for shipping. He then sent me a receipt and tracking number, three hours later the shipper contacted me and said they placed a hold on the shipping, they requested a refundable 250 insurance fee, I went to their web page and talked to a rep there on their website chat, very rude, and I never have seen money and I contacted my bank and Zelle, and they say I am out the money. I researched this person on Facebook and has 9 profile pages and won't respond to me. What can I do.

I saw this ad on Facebook about sneakers, so i ordered 2 different pairs of them, 2 weeks later i received a package in the mail. When i opened it up what i found inside was GARBAGE, there were, 2 exactly the same shoes, they were nothing at ALL of what i have oredered, they were grapped up in plastic ( did not come in a box ) and the send was not the company i have ordered from ( i ordered from istylemall ) and the sender name was JANE, yes, just plain JANE, i looked inside the package to see if i could find a number to call to complaint and there was nothing. These 2 pairs of shoes are of sooooooooooo low quality, chinese made and they should not cost more than $10 a pair. I tried to contact iStylemall but in their website, the ONLY way of contacting them is thru EMAIL, yes, there is NO phone number or any other means of contact. So i did send them 5 emails in 1 week and until this day NO RESPONSE.

So i contacted my credit card company and filled a complaint, they told me they will try their best to get me my money back,

I will contact Facebook to see if they would take responsabilty for this scam, since iStylemall advertises on Facebook

I hope you can help me resolve this issue or maybe WARN other people about this scam.

Thanks !

This number alone with someone on Facebook obtained a copy of my photo ID and other personal information I have inside my Facebook app. They then proceeded to take over my FACEBOOK account and lock me out and solicit my friends and family. They had a contest. I thought I won and they showed me in my cash app where the money was pending. They then took me through a whole ordeal before taking over my account. They then texted me and was saying they would give me back access to my account if I paid them!! They continue to text me about this situation! People are calling me and I keep telling them it's not me! I've been hacked! I'm usually so vigilant! But I let myself slip!! Please help me!

For over 3 weeks now I get an email from: [email protected] stating that I have a login attempt from an unknown device. I know it’s not legit because I checked my emails received in my settings on Facebook and I haven’t been sent anything in over 2 weeks. I did a Google search hoping to find a website or blog post that confirmed this but when I search the email nothing comes up. As a computer programmer and technician I wanted to alert someone to this and make sure the admin is found, stopped, and you create AT LEAST a blog post warning people who are not nearly as alert to phishing as I am.

I kindly ask for a response to this email, at least acknowledging it is being shared if not stopped. A link to a new post warning users would be ideal.

I got an IM from my friend, who put me in touch with Billy Campbell, online delivery FedEx, won a $100,000 grant, He asked for my FB account and password, which I provided. Now I can't access my Facebook. I got a text message from Tony Wells, Board of Director of my grant package. I reported this to FB and IC3.

I received a text message stating I was a winner of a Facebook Lottery of $600,000. They stated they were Chief Operating Officers of Facebook Andrew Boswart & Sandy Sandberg. The text was in broken English in some spots. Also there was grammar and clerical errors (Red Flag). They also said this is 100% REAL (Red Flag). I just wanted to report it because some people might fall for this. In the text the link attached is https://sandrajane22127.wixsite.com/on-site. There was a form on the site asking for my information ie. name, address, email, phone number, phone carrier etc. I did not fill out the form that is on the site. I knew right away this was a scam. I don't want anyone to fall victim of this scam so I am reporting it.

Scam

Scamers email on Facebook is www.facebook.com reneé.collins.5243

Claimed to have extra tickets to fruit bats concert that they wanted to sell. Small artist so tickets were cheap - $25. Requested payment via cash app but I sent via Apple Pay. Once sent they blocked me on Facebook messenger and then texted me saying that they sent me my tickets but they never did. Had I taken a moment to question it I would have seen it was clearly a scam (posting tickets on multiple pages, non-local, google search of phone number shows different name than Facebook account that messaged me)

I got an IM from my friend on Facebook, and I should contact Susan. I texted Susan, who is an attorney working for the government. She said she could get me a $25,000 government grant if I would give her $1500. She asked for my bank routing and account number to deposit the money, and deduct the $1500 fee for her service to get me the grant.

Contacted through a spoofed account on Messenger and asked to click on a link to receive Grant funds.

Message sent states: “All you need to do now is to click on this link and add him up right now ,so message him you want to claim your winning. https://www.facebook.com/Christopher-manuel-248309737097428/

I'm 84 yrs old. My friend on Facebook, sent me an instant message. She said she had seen my name and my husband's name on a list for a free government grant. She told me they helped her living and she had received $10,000 delivered to her by UPS. She told me to contact Agent Mark James at https://www.facebook.com/profilephp?id=100076926661029. I contacted him asking how we qualified. He said our names were randomly picked. He said: "Let us know if you are ready to claim your winnings right now. You will have to fill up some information so we can proceed. You are the real owner of the wins. are you ready to fill the form now separately online here. Are you ready to do that now: full name, home address, male/female, FB user, monthly income, cash, check, monthly income. Kindly fill out the form one after the other, and get back to me here. We guarantee you 100% that your information is safe with us. Hello Are you still there with me?" I said no.

I am 69 years old. I said: "Google, give me the number for Facebook". I called 888-303-2990. I spoke to Sam. He had an Indian accent. I was calling to say I could not access my FB account. He did some research and said that my FB account had been hacked as well as my computer, and he could see they had been on pornographic sites. He said someone was using my profile. He said the scammers were located in Indiana, Texas and Mexico. He asked for my email address which I gave him. He told me the best way to track the scammers was to purchase a $50 Google Play Card from Krogers, but he had a list of stores. He told me not to talk to him while I was at the store. He was live on my phone during the drive and while I was in the store. I went into Krogers on Main St in Bexley, OH and spoke to the clerk at the checkout. She told me not to purchase the card as whatever I was involved in was a scam. I told him they wouldn't sell me a card. He told me to go to a different store. I said: "No, I'm done and I'm going home" and hung up. Sam can be reached at 818-660-1338, ext. 1309.
