Sold me something on Facebook that was supposed to be Free just pay shipping and when they got my debit card number they started charging me a 10.00 a month membership fee and when I saw that they had took more money out of my account I contacted them and asked them what it was and they said they didn't know because they didn't have no order numbers that was like that and they sent me to another company that has a name almost just like theirs and I asked them and they are the ones who found out that it was a membership fee and when I tried to message them back and tell them that they would not respond to me anymore and on their page it says is it free yes it's really fee just pay shipping they say it's to spread the gospel but you don't lie to people to get there information if it's really to spread the gospel

I looked up another company that has it listed Primestone Properties and the name on Facebook is Mosier Dewayne. The scammer advertised cars on Facebook. I saw one that I was interested in and I messaged him about the down payment and the delivery fee. The down payment was $500 and the delivery fee was supposed to be $500. I paid the $1000. so then someone texted me saying that i had to pay another $500 for the paperwork, insurance, and fees. I sent that through and Apple gift card. Then they said that they need $500 for something else. I told them that I wasn't giving them any more money to give them. I kept texting them about getting my money back, but they didn't respond. This man's business is still on Facebook and he's also re-listed the car that I was supposed to receive. It was a 2023 Nissan Altima SR. he and the so-called delivery agency (Streamline Transport Logistics) scammed me out of $1500 all together.

I was supposed to receive a car from a seller on Facebook. The lady said somebody else was looking into it and she was gonna put a down payment down. I told her I could put $1000, I know that was dumb but I really wanted my first car. I lost $1000 to this person on Facebook. Fast forward, I drive an hour away to this location nobody was at and she blocked me.

I answered an ad about French bulldogs on Facebook. They wanted $100 down then $500 upon delivery. I lost $100 from my home in Monroe, WI, USA. No delivery ever happened! Said they used a professional delivery service and service wanted to charge me money before delivery. I refused.

The scammers used a fake ad on Facebook for Macy's selling a fragrance for $9.95. Once i put my card info in, i receive an error. But my card was already debited the amount of $9.95, which is the total money lost. Then 10 minutes later they tried to get $21.00 moredollars but i canceled my card and potential transaction was declined. I tired contacting the company, Facebook, but they refused to refund money. Instead of speaking with people it was speaking with a bot.

ordered a tailgate for my truck for $400 from a page on facebook. I was told i would receive a tracking number instead i received a link to pay $150 more for insurance, bringing my total money lost to $550. I never received tracking details then they blocked me on facebook so i couldnt contact them. I tried to email them at [email protected] but got no reply.

It is an IQ test you take on line with facebook. I have cancelled (or tried) to cancel this account since August 2025. I recieved emails stating the account is closed but they continue to take money out of my account, over $210 total, which amounts to a total loss of $210. They have no phone number just an email at [email protected]. They have a portal that tells you go there to cancel your account I have gone there put in my email and it comes back no account found. I know I will more than likely not get my money refunded but I would like to stop recurring payments being taken out of my account. I am a senior citizen and live on a very fixed income I cannot afford to waste moneyon a scam.

I ordered beautiful blue hosta plants from an ad on Facebook. I got a tiny bag of black seeds that never came up. I lost $25.00 on this order, a total of $25.00 lost.

How do we stop Facebook from allowing these fake scam ads?

They portrayed to be an auto sales person on Facebook. I tried to purchase a vehicle from the seller on Facebook by sending them the amount of $800 that was required to purchase the vehicle, which is the total money I lost. After I paid the amount, they stopped all contact with me. I tried to email them at [email protected] but got no response.

Bruce was selling Mazda parts on Facebook. I bough an exhaust from him on Facebook and after i paid him $410 (the total money lost was $415) he said he gave my package to an Agency who's going to deliver my stuff. The Agency called Legacy Expressway Logistics. After i got a tracing number from them they told me that i have to pay a mandatory refundable insurance $499 that i will get back upon delivery . The seller never mentioned that's going to be any extra charges the deal was $410 shipped. I asked him to talk to his Agency or use a different carrier but he didn't want to do it. I have countless back and fort massages between me and the seller also emails with Legacy Expressway from my email [email protected] . I never received my package .

Jim ****** was selling a boxer puppy for $600 or $700 delivery on Facebook. I chose to pick up and pay $500 more after my hundred dollar deposit, so I lost a total of $100 to this scam on Facebook. Conveniently Jim was unavailable the next morning for me to pick up and started a shipping process which he told me that he paid the delivery charge at 5 o’clock when the puppy was supposed to arrive I was reached by a carrier called global express asking for $250 for a crate fee. I told them that I was not paying this that Jim was playing the delivery charge since he was unavailable for pick up, Jim is now ghosting me and will not answer my text or calls at (903) 233-6113 or my emails to [email protected] and it is now 730 and no puppy he is a scammer please warn people not to buy from him. He is based in the USA.
