i was looking for a place to rent and came across a listing on Facebook. after getting in touch with the seller on facebook and having a few back and forth conversations we came to the agreement of paying a security deposit and first months rent on the house after signing a lease saying i would get the money back if unsatisfactory. Then after receiving confirmation of my payment, which totaled $2000, they asked me to pay an extra 2 months rent in advance. When I declined and stated i no longer wanted the apartment they stoped answering me all together. I lost a total of $2000 to this scam, based in AK, USA.

Ordered a knee strap from facebook for $9.99. Then my account was charged $49.99, then again charged $149.99. I lost over $200 total, specifically $209.97. I emailed their site and got a reply that $200 charge was for membership in the company that was mentioned in the intial purchase agreement? However, i was told that since i didnt want the membership all monies would be credited back to my account. Its never happened, nor have i received product. Now my follow up emails are undeliverable. Scam, shut them down

I reached out in reguards to a puppy that was advertised fo rehoming on Facebook. It was explained to me that they needed my personal infor and that they would send me a contract and I can pay a deposit. The puppy was for sale at $600.00 and for $200.00 they would delivere from NC. When I started to get suspicious, he said he was 72 with 4 kids 6 grandchildren and have been doing it since 2015 but the website only goes to 2025. He continued to try and speak with me until 11pm cst and when I quit communicating he contacted my by phone the next morning yelling at me. I was contacted by a Facebook page named “Michael Dean’s miniature Dachshunds for Adoption” advertising puppies. They requested a $400 deposit via Cash App under the name Alexis Anais Sanford, which does not match the breeder name. They claimed to be located in Charlotte, NC, USA, but the Facebook page manager is listed in Cameroon, and the phone call came from a Georgia number. The contact email was [email protected]. This appears to be a puppy scam.

I reached out to the person on Facebook to help with my credit profile and help clean it up I sent a message requesting to cancel the services for personal reason and asking for a full refund because it had only been 4 fours day since I had sent the $700. The person, who I contacted via [email protected], never responded I reached out tried to call through Facebook messenger and didn’t get an answer. So I’ve lost $700 for services that were never rendered and the person won’t give me my money back I feel scammed I was never given a refund policy or anything

I contacted person online on Facebook who promised me a puppy. I sent a deposit of $100 to make sure the puppy stayed mine, bringing my total money lost to $150. Then when everything was ready to be delivered I was asked to give $700 for a kennel special made for a puppy to be transported in. Of course nothing was ever said about that so I didn't have the money for that so the puppy didn't come to me. When I asked for my money back it had already been spent and was unable to be returned. Then the husband got involved and said he would bring the puppy to me but he needed gas money. I stupidly gave him $50 for gas money. He then called after the money got to him stating that his daughter got into a car accident and that he wasn't able to bring puppy so he was going to have a friend do it. Then we get a text that a service can bring the puppy needed $1,000 for a transportation. Then it all went down. I'm upset I'm heartbroken I don't know how to go without getting this person in trouble cuz I'm so devastated.

Purchased a motorcycle seat on Facebook. Paid: 350.00. I lost a total of $350.00. After back and forth via messenger with the seller from Facebook about getting tracking number one was sent (express waves cargo) who after several attempts to contact after delivery date pasted stated I needed to pay a 250 refundable insurance deposit. All attempts to contact seller or a live person from shipping company have failed.

DQ posted an item I wished to purchase on Facebook. I made arrangements for payment but first confirmed it included shipping. I sent payment of $160, didn’t receive tracking, and item not received. They asked for another $130 for shipping and wouldn’t consent to cancel and refund.

It was a Facebook ad, about Kidney cleanse products, it also had people's testimonies about how it helped them a great deal, when i saw the reviews or testimonies from the claimed clients, i decided to purchase it. I purchased it February 21, 2026, from the company Facebook, and since i had not received anymore communication about the purchase just the 1st point of sale email from the entity they gave me an order number. I spent $44.90. I email them at [email protected] on March 4, 2026 about it, and i received a respond asking to allow some time, then i got another within 5 mins, saying there system is down they can not process any refunds, till there system comes back up, i also sent another email March 23, 2026 and they same thing happened.

I ordered weight loss meds from a facebook ad on Facebook. I called the company back the next day to cancel. They said they already shipped it. I got the package in 4 days and took it from my mailbox to the post office, and marked it REFUSED. I called the company and asked for my money back. The agent, Jay, asked immediately "Where did you get this number?" I said from my credit card statement. I told him I refused the package and he gave me a tracking number. I have not received my money back. I called the company on March 23,2026 and Jay said they did not receive the package. I gave him the tracking number HE gave me. He said they still had not received the package. I told him he was lying. He put me on hold then came back and said they did receive the package but it was past their refund policy. I called my credit card company and filed a report with FTC.

"Dale" from Facebook, did not want to issue a refund. I lost $18.58 on this from their site, Facebook, in the USA. This is the worst product and lie. Scamatoes 1000%. Do not buy these glasses from their site.

Clicked on a link on Facebook and took me to a "verified" website. That's where I messed up because I guess I can't trust those anymore. Wanted to get some shoes for a good deal and never got the shoes and they keep charging me for a subscription after telling them to cancel my order and them saying that they will. I lost $48.00. I received my money back in the form of credits for their website so my money is gone for good I guess?
