I was contacted by representative from FaceBook saying I had won money from a Money Give-Away with FB. For 1-2 weeks there was either a communication through my personal page or even emails direct to me about me winning the Give-Away. I kept telling them I did not have money to pay and tell me exactly what they claimed I had won. I told them I knew it was a scam and not to bother me. Yesterday I received email from FB stating they were the official claims agent T*** M*** and she needed $550 for them to process and send me my winnings (the amount still unknown). I told her I believed it was all a scam and my FB profile became frozen immediately. Later I received communication stating it was George Strait himself and he was verifying the claims agent was legitimate. She sent family pictures and a photo of her sitting in her office to try to convince me to send the $550 today so I would not lose my chance to get my big winnings. I told them I was going to report this to BBB. I have blocked the texts to my phone and have been deleting all the emails.

These people texted me twice recently saying I'd won first $ 2.5 million and today $500,000 through Facebook and I have to pay for the cost of having a certified check delivered and handling fees. They asked that I send $500 via Western Union or Moneygram.

This person Is talking to my friend. Promising to come live with her. Telling her he will send her $500 a week. He told her she can quit her job soon. And has asked her to open a bank account and send him all her info so that he can send her the $500/ week. I'm not sure how much she sent him. She is in denial and will not listen to me.

A Facebook account that looked like my friend contacted me via messenger and told me I'd won a lottery hosted by Facebook worth $500,000. Then Facebook contacted me and said I'd won because I was also so nice and smiling in photos on Facebook, and I just needed to send them an Itunes gift card worth $100 to get my winnings.

I'm getting texts and phone calls from a phone number and the person claims to be Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook. They told me I won $100,000 but I need to go to Walmart and purchase 2 iTune gift cards for myself for my wife for $35 each. He told me to scratch off the cards and give him the numbers on the back. Then he had a man call with a foreign accent and he told me he was coordinating the delivery of my money. I get texts all of the time.

i hope i nipped this in the bud. i found a message from an acquaintance on facebook messenger this morning. it contained a link to you tube. silly my i did try to view it, unsuccessfully since it wouldn't open. i responded to the message by asking the sender what was going on. he replied it was a scam and i should not open it.

i would like to know what i should do now.

Today, my husband was on Facebook, and he got a message from someone pretending to be his friend. The message was that Publishers Clearinghouse had teamed up with Facebook to give away money. The message said that within 15 minutes of receiving a copy of his drivers license, they would be at his house with a check. The same person messaged me, she asked how he was doing, while he was talking to him on Facebook. I asked her if she was scamming my husband, and she said no, she swears on the Bible it's not a scam. I said send proof. She said she couldn't, she was on vacation.

Call the Facebook number given by google to reset a Facebook account. Was told I? needed to purchase iTunes gift cards and they would be refunded after they purchased the software to stop the hacker. Gift cards were not refunded

My nephew, Kerry, who lives with me, has a facebook account. My other nephew's wife received a bogus message from Kerry, they were told that they received $150,000; they had to send $1200 to a particular website. (Annette DeBourge 618-954-8563 [email protected])

Jane Johnson contacted me on Facebook messenger saying I won 600,000.00 on a random Facebook drawing and to claim prize I had to buy 4 $100.00 I Tune cards and call them back . I actually googled Facebook support and got the same story from them that I did win, but the 4 I tunes cards would help verify my identity. This has to be a scam, why do I have to spend money to collect lottery winnings NOT

was supposed to call them back after purchasing my cards, not gonna happen

I was on Facebook started yesterday at about 1:30pm  11-9-17, I finally stopped about 1pm this afternoon 11-10-17, the picture wouldn't upload and I went on Google to find the number for Facebook customer service. I found the number 1-877-250-5999 online and a man answered he said his name was Kevin, then he said Jeffrey and Keith, but when I would call it was the same man. He sounded like he had an arabian accent. When I called I told the man I couldn't upload my picture profile on Facebook. And he said that someone had hacked into my Facebook account and used my identity in Uruguay, Uganda, Colorado, Illinois and California. He said I was going to go to jail and be found guilty and he said I had to buy an I Tunes Card and give them the code and they would be able to protect my account from hackers and block them. He asked what did you spend, I said I didn't spend anything, and he asked what did Kevin ask you to do, and I said I shouldn't have to pay to upload pictures to Facebook and he hung up me. He hung up on me every time I called. I went to my bank to get an I Tunes Card and they told me it was a scam, and I told him that and he hung up on me. He has me my name, where I was from, what school I went to, he asked me for my date of birth.

I have various business pages and have used the boost function to boost my postings. I have spent a lot of money in these and when I go to see who supposedly likes my page I got wierd names. After looking into each of those name they look like they may be real but 99% of them only post an updated profile picture and they all look like they were staged. You can’t tell me that EVERYONE only post an updated picture and that’s it? I have spent $100s in boosting
