Was contacted through Facebook Messenger by a relative claiming I won $120,000.

These messages won't stop; he is very persistent . I am even being contacted by someone at Fed Ex manager now. The Fed Ex phone number is 708-406-6785

I called this number because I wasn't able to get into facebook marketplace to sell. When I called, they told me that I had to pay them $200 to be able to sell again.

I have received via chat on face book messages I have won 500,000 dollars in a lottery drawing with 19 other people. All I need do is purchase a I tunes card they will within 3 hours disperse my winnings top me via FedEx. This is a scam you never have to send money to receive sweepstakes winning prize or lottery drawing. Be aware they show pictures of the previous winners and CEO M Z license to try to prove he knows of this they also claim the FBI knows about this lottery and they have cleared it to be completely legal. Don't fall victim to this bogus scam! I told them to cease and desist or I would report them. They texted me back, Bye. I am doing as I told them I would do, report them may they get arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law!

I received a message from someone who I knew as a family member telling me they saw my name on a list of people eligable to claim a prize of money which helps them pay off depts and payments as part of a government program. This is fake, and these facebook 'agents' are trying to appear trustworthy, and are persistent.

was emailed to my private Google hangouts offered 650,000 $ as winnings on facebook

I called what I thought was the official FB customer support number and was offered a business account. I needed to buy $200 in Google Play Cards and provide them with the code on the back, which I did. I was then told to go outside the building I was in, after I bought 2 more $50 Google Play Cards as my time had run out, and provide them with the code on the back, which I declined to do. I was then instructed to buy 3 more $100 Google Play Cards, which I refused to do. I called the BBB to ask if this was a legitimate offer by Facebook. It is not. Someone is impostering Facebook

All phone calls... claims to be Facebook help or a cash loaning place.

I had a Facebook page for about 5 years and this page had tons of pictures and info about myself and others close to me on it. This page was hacked, I was blocked out off the page and it has been reported to Facebook and they have made zero effort to shut the page down and return it to me or stop the thefts from using it.

Was sent a pm on facebook from a friend. Said they received a government grant and so did several friends. I sent back a message that it was a scam and they never responded. The same day i received another message from a different person saying to call the agent and gave md a 3168048083 number. I did not call because i looked on this bbb site and see this is a scam going around.

Offering Facebook help assistance, but in order to find a solution I had to buy things and give them the code. And then in order to get the refund I had to buy more things in order for them to verify my identity.

I was contacted by representative from FaceBook saying I had won money from a Money Give-Away with FB. For 1-2 weeks there was either a communication through my personal page or even emails direct to me about me winning the Give-Away. I kept telling them I did not have money to pay and tell me exactly what they claimed I had won. I told them I knew it was a scam and not to bother me. Yesterday I received email from FB stating they were the official claims agent T*** M*** and she needed $550 for them to process and send me my winnings (the amount still unknown). I told her I believed it was all a scam and my FB profile became frozen immediately. Later I received communication stating it was George Strait himself and he was verifying the claims agent was legitimate. She sent family pictures and a photo of her sitting in her office to try to convince me to send the $550 today so I would not lose my chance to get my big winnings. I told them I was going to report this to BBB. I have blocked the texts to my phone and have been deleting all the emails.
