And also had me download MetaMask to be able to take any cryptocurrency I had there. Saying that’s how I would make money. Then they insisted I purchase more in order to make the $101 needed to continue the sets of tasks required to make profits on the above website.

Then someone added me in WhatsApp with a phone # from Germany and was suspicious and didn’t speak English well so I blocked

I recently applied to a work from home company name ‘Pioneer Library System’. I signed a contract stating the terms and conditions and an I-9 form with my social security number, address, and full name and sent it back. After that, a person by the name of **** ****** also known as Maya [censored]up sent an invoice of $3,500 for me to receive my equipment which included a MacBook, iPhone 12,HP printer, and a service fee. Then stated I’d receive my money back in the form of a deposit or check and asked for my bank.

Numerous red flags concerning this supposed business. A look at the "employee review" page companies Indeed.com profile reveals the job descriptions are heavily misleading an example follows: https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Primetime-Business-Consultants/reviews/counterproduct...⇄ .

Moreover the company Yelp page only has two five star reviews, which comes from two accounts. These accounts are potentially sockpuppets due to the fact they have been created recently and both of them have only reviewed primetime business consultants. These reviews have been hidden by yelp due to the websites AI algorithm determining them to be suspicious. However they are still viewable under the "not recommended reviews" tab

Finally the interview process was extremely unprofessional. The woman inteviewer appeared to be conducting the interview from her home, judging by the background. Additionally she claimed Primetime Business Consultants acted as a middleman for a "Native American Scholarship Fund" despite this claim, their website reveals no such partnership.

Speaking of their website, additional suspicious elements indicate a scam. First of all, there's absolutely no contact information other than an apparently hiring focused email: [email protected] Furthermore the "Our Team" page is empty, no staff members names are given. Additionally generic stock images and quotes abound. Job descriptions and have little in the way of qualifications are vague particularly with regard to payment.

Joann Price contacted me in regards to a application I supposedly filled out on indeed. I looked at indeed but the company name didn't match what I truly applied too. I was then proceeded to download signal messenger where I would go through an interview process (answering questions.) I applied I believe on the 19th of February, was contacted the 20th for the interview. I got the final notice that I was accepted today on the 21st. This was for a 100% fully remote position, 30/h plus benefits. They would also send me money for equipment that was needed, which I also found to be weird. When I contacted the "manager" who did the interview, I asked to have a zoom meeting, no answer then she left group chat. I also tried contacting Joann, number doesn't go through. I finally called the actual place and confirmed with the lady that they don't have that position available and that it is a scam

Unfortunately I responded politely to learn more about the opportunity, thinking this would be good, now I'm worried that I'm being scammed.

I applied for a data entry position for this company on LinkedIn directly, not through a third party hiring. Everything about it seemed a legitimate company I had really high hopes. Bruce Marsh reached out to me via text, and after verifying that he was who he said he was on LinkedIn, we continued. The interview was hardky anything and he emailed me an application to fill out. After I sent him this email with the completed documents he said that he was doing to email me a check of $4500 and I can keep the $1000 for my first payment and then he'll tell me what to do with the rest of it. I told him that I am uncomfortable with doing such as I have been scammed before and he "assured" me I wasnt being scammed or going to get hurt at 1am EST. Which...odd word choice. The following morning I get another text message from him that he's in the hospital and really needs me to do this for him but now the amount of the check he was going to send me was only $2,500 and I would need to distribute the rest via Zelle. I've been victim of these cash a fraudulent check and distribute money that isn't real before. I blocked his number.
