I was contacted via text by Lillian 626-625-0555 then Christina messaged me through WhatApp 530-319-9184. She sent me several messages explaining what the job is that would be done. Walked me through steps to do the job then once completed showed me how to withdraw. Got first withdrawal then next day it seemed easy enough but then I had a “lucky order” that put the balance into a negative which I had a negative $125, which I was told I had to put that in in order to complete my work task. Got one set done but didn’t do a withdrawal cause I had to start the next day with $100. The next day in the first workset I had another lucky order which the negative is $328 need to be out in so I did cause I was like I got my money and I was encouraged to do the amount because I can withdraw the money. Put that in cause now I’m like I have to get my money back, she was telling me how lucky I was. I was still doing the set and got a second lucky order which she told me rarely happens but I had to put the negative of now $1024. I didn’t hear back from her and when I did she said I had to in order to finish the set and I would be in big problem and cause others to be in a congestion but I can withdraw it right away. I pulled money out my account to get it done and right when I got to 39/40 I got another lucky order which the negative was $3605.76 which the frozen amount I’m technically would be able to withdraw was $6384.00. I cried because now I was one away from completing the work task and I was stuck cause I couldn’t out that in to finish. I didn’t hear from Christina. I still haven’t heard back from her. I dont want this to ever happen to anyone else.

I received an email asking me to contact Melissa Graspard via Chatwork. Melissa asked me for my full name, address and email. Melissa wrote that I had to respond to everything with "OKAY". Melissa then provided a summary of the company and benefits. Then listed Knowledge components and in asked if i possessed those. 30 minutes passed with no response from her. I asked general onboarding questions. Again, I received no response. It was nearing end of day, so I texted I would follow up in the morning. The next day the whole chat was deleted.

They mimicked a legitimate job and a past HR manager. They even sent a check through the legitimate headquarters of the business they were impersonating!

Said I'd get an $800 week job plus commission after training but had to pay for training

- Leander, TX, USA • Jul 08, 2024

I want to bring attention to my experience with Josh ***** I helped him sell multiple pieces of equipment and also found machines for him to buy, fix, and resell. He promised to partner with me, sell the fixed machines, and pay me a commission. Additionally, he asked me to make cold calls for him at a rate of $250 per week, but he never paid me. He also left some machines with me for storage, promising to pay me upon his return, but he never did. I have not received any payment for the work we agreed upon. It's important to note that Josh Duke operates without a legal and active LLC, so if you do business with him, be sure to request a W-9 form to avoid being responsible for taxes on the transactions. I have pictures of the equipment I've been storing for him since May 15th, 2024, and I want it removed from my property. I suspect that the equipment might be stolen. I intend to take legal action for the damages and report his business operations to the IRS for tax evasion. I am keeping this post up until Josh Duke settles the $1000 he owes to my company's LLC. This post will serve as a warning to others until the matter is resolved. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau (BBB) about this issue.

I received the same message as what you posted. I didn't respond nor will I. The 754-304-4297 number I listed is my number they messaged. The method they expected me to call was a WhatsApp number +1270425359

I hope this helps, Ted Conrad

I applied for a remote position through an ad on Facebook. The hiring manager onboarded me and asked me to fill out basic employment documents. They then asked for my credit account information because the company allegedly helps pay off debt. The Facebook account that originally posted the job now no longer exists and a new one has been made.

Once I responded to the text message, I was asked to download the app Telegram and reach out to Bettina Krause @bettina_htecsystems for a. Riefing and interview. I did and was told everything would be via IM. The company was opening a location in Pittsburgh and was looking to staff it, but I wasn’t close so I’d be 100% remote. It all ran together and they never really offered me a job, just said I was hired and started a new process. I tried to halt it and asked for an email to review everything, but they pressed saying they needed certain things. They only requested my address and phone. Later that day, with research and assistance from friends and family, we discovered it was a scam. I immediately deleted the telegram app and I received 2 emails the following day - July 4th - and then a check was also overnighted and arrived on July 5th for $4,844.44 from American Business Bank. I filed a report with the FTC, sent an email to the attorney general and will be taking the check to the bank.

Received texted from someone Warren ****** saying they are hiring and would like to interview. He provided me with Brian *********** who then did an online interview through Microsoft Teams. After doing questions and answer's. He said I was hired for Data Entry: Then went on to say he would be sending me an e-check to cover for materials. I then became very supious, because earlier he asked if I had a printer with copier and scanner, which I do. I questioned him on why I would need a whole system. I went on to advise: as long as I don't have to cash the e-check into my account and it has the company's name on it --not mine- I can do this. He stated I would have to deposit the check into my account. At this point I had already search for scam with his name and found this to be a real scam. No money exchanged: I will not accept the e-check and hopefully someone can catch this person. It is very sad when you are trying to find employment and people like this take advantage of others.

Submitting from Bank of America's client protection - The ******* ********* was also targeted by this employment scam by Emili Deen. ******* was contacted by the "company" and was immediately hired without training. ******* was told to purchase gift cards and provide them to the company. ******* was told he would be reimbursed for doing so. This went on for approximately two weeks and ******* never received his salary for the "employment". ******* made the gift card purchases on his credit card and the company paid him back with stolen checking accounts - all of the payments were eventually returned and ******* was stuck with a balance of $13,175.67
