Initially, it was an email where they expressed their gratitude for my interest in working for their company. Was called multiple times. Eventually, I called back. I spoke to Sam the HR Manager. Asked me when the best time I could come in for an interview. Said it was for a sales position I "applied" for.

I had lunch & a (1) prior site selection mtg.w/ HomeVestors. Then I never heard from the company again. I was to be the new HomeVestors employee. Having been rejected w/ -0- notice, I never heard from HomeVestors again. It was then I realized I'd fell victim to a scam. This scam cost me $1,000 that I was due. One of the property specialists, Carlos Carroll, was a Manager that drove the entire crooked operation as HomeVestors offers were so low no seller would ever entertain a proposal from him. I was prepared to ramp up quickly but never given the chance. They never informed me of my termination. No class! Do NOT sell to HomeVesters. MarkSpain.com & quickcashoffer.com are much more honest & producing companies. Thank you.

Google the position and found out she’s a scam. Same as the other positions above

The scammer said I'd qualified for a job, put me through an hour of "training" and then said I had to transfer $100 to be eligible.

Please see the attached image for highlighted red flags. The "employer" is a "CEO" rather than a hiring manager, he conducted the interview via email rather than even a brief phone call which would be workable despite travel, the address for the company is a residential address, and the position offered to me was for $30/hr 20 hrs /week with part time benefits for remote data entry. This is well above and beyond the industry average. The way this scam would have worked, if I had not recognized it as someone who has formerly worked in fraud investigation, is that the check for the equipment would bounce AFTER the money order had been placed, which would have placed my account in double jeopardy because money orders are guaranteed payment. No legitimate company will ever ask you to buy or send money for equipment rather than just giving it to you. Stay safe out there y'all!

Received an email saying that I had an online interview with a Mr. Robert Benjamin via Telegram to discuss the role and compensation package. This email went to my spam folder and the website attached to the email leads to a dead end.

When I contacted the manager via Signal, they asked some basic questions and then sent me an offer letter the next morning along with a W4 form and a direct deposit form.

The contract was quite vague and conflicted with information the "hiring manager" provided on Signal which made me start to suspect that the job I had actually applied for on Indeed was not this one or was fake. She asked that I send everything back "promptly" and the directions instructed me to fill everything out by hand, sign and scan to the Signal app. When I asked for a clear job description, I did not receive one. In the Signal communications from the "hiring manager" I was promised all sorts of benefits as well as lots of tech equipment that I could use to set up a home office.

(I did not send anything back).

I replied to a job on LinkedIn for a data entry position. The person is saying he'll send me a computer and printer for work. But, his distributor will only take a money order. They are FedExing me a check of $4915. Track # 776904155507 and I'm supposed to deposit it in my bank and wate for it to clear and then send them a money order. I still have the person thinking I don't know it's a scam. I haven't got the info on where to send the check yet. I wanna help bust this person.

Thank you,

Howard Manski

Did it come from someone named Marcello Pellegrini?
I received an email from that same email and address of the business.

I interviewed with a recruiter on Friday about potential employment with the company. The interview lasted less than five minutes. The recruiter said he would be in contact with me this week about possible positions and advised me to contact him if I had not heard anything. I thought today would be a good day to follow up even if it's a holiday. He didn't respond, but I figured it must be the holiday. I thought I'd call and did not go anywhere. However, I got sent an email prompting me to schedule an interview and had an email address to send an email to if I had questions. I sent an email to the address stating I had already had an interview. The email address was invalid. Because of that, I have concluded that this "company" is a scam outfit and should be investigation for advertising bogus jobs.

I was told to message the Hiring Manager on Signal, then i was told that i was going through an interview process. I was then told that i would be sent a check to pay for the equipment i would need to perform my job duties.

The scammer approached me for online job and during process. I had to complete task by adding money or cryptocurrency in order to finalize and get paid. When I realized, I was already at $800 blocked because I didn’t want to add anything. And from the so called salary included it should have been $1.846 frozen in the account.

Recently, I applied for a community job and had an interview. During the interview, I realized I had met the gentleman before. The first time I met him, he was kind of standoffish and funny style. I can’t really explain it, but it was odd. Usually, I don’t judge people, and once again, I didn’t judge. He interviewed me via zoom. Initially, he responded to my comments, but later, he stopped responding. I understand people are busy and may not always respond promptly. In the interview, he asked me about the project he’s building and mentioned he wanted to do a survey. No problem, I thought. I could tap into my community and network to figure out what’s needed for the survey. Then he asked me a trick question?—?or at least, that’s how I felt. He asked if I could get people for the survey. I didn’t understand the reason for just getting people when I’m not hired because anyone who knows about social media, leads, or community building knows it’s not a one-time activation. It involves building a product, resources, and a funnel system to identify needs and place people accordingly. When he asked me that, I wasn’t sure if it was a trick question. Our first conversation was on Monday, and we were supposed to touch base again on Wednesday. By Wednesday, I had gotten 25 people for the survey, although he claimed only 14 people had participated. I knew this wasn’t true because I walked 25 people through the survey. This was a test with no incentives, just to see if I could do it. In the second interview, he was hyped about the number of people I got for the survey. We were supposed to meet on Friday to discuss contract details since he technically did not want to hire me, which was fine. However, on Friday, things changed. Instead of a regular interview, he started probing me for information. When I identified this, I stopped the conversation and stopped giving him information that I felt he should be paying me for. Then I realized that none of the things he said were true. He questioned whether his company would work or not, and I started thinking, “What am I doing here?”

Strange number texted me offering a remote job, which i have been searching for lately, to review apps and get paid commisions and base salary working consecutive days. Once the balance in my account was negative, they said i had to pay it for the amount to rollover and make the money that was being withheld. The amount went way too negative to the point where i could not pay it back or retrieve my money back.
