Prescient Therapeutics spotted my resume on LinkedIn and sent me an email saying, Resume Credentials Approved!!! Congratulations! Attached to the email was a teams link for an urgent interview. I interviewed in teams and was emailed a cashier check too purchase office equipment, after I was approved for the Administration Assistant position. I filled out W-4, Education form, and Job Acceptance letter. They emailed me the check and I checked with my bank to make sure it was good. She told me it would be on hold for 5 days to verify. I sent deposit slip with all my info blacked and hiring manager Heather Reeves told me to cash app $225 to Craig LeRoux and cash app reported as a scam. I contacted my back immediately. The $25 is the return check fee.

Interview was done entirely via e-mail and MS Teams. They immediately hired me after an online survey "interview". They then inquired about my banking information in order to "send me office equipment" for the fake remote administrative assistant position they offered me. This is the second work from home scam I have stumbled across within the last week. I just want to warn others not to fall victim to these as I have before.

I received an email from Patrick James.hiring [email protected]

I then researched the email and company because the pay seemed too good to be true $35.90 per hour plus incentives for a data entry position. The email stated to Kindly contact hiring officer Julius Turner on Microsoft teams. Please look out, this email has been used to try and scam other people with different company accounts. Sad that you have to do so much verifying now a days when looking for a job. They also stated I sent an application in and they wanted to now do an interview I just know I didn’t send in anything to a company called First Round Capital. If it’s too good to be true please verify for your sake.
