The job was said to be a data entry clerk, for $35.50/hr. I asked multiple times throughout the instant message interview for proof this wasn't fraudulent and I was asked to trust them. They wanted my onboarding information sent that same day, but the hard copies of the documents had suspiciously formatted letterhead. There were many syntax errors in the interviews responses during the interview. They wanted to send me a check where some was for me to keep and the rest was for work equipment that I would need. Too many things didn't add up.

Received an email thanking me for my application. I keep all copies of jobs I apply for and didn't have one for DHU Healthcare. They wanted to know if I have a Teams App. I said yes and they sent me a link to a Mr. Michael Leitschkis. They told me to send him a code and I would get an invitation.

I looked up ScamPulse.com thankfully. I sent them an email asking them to send me a copy of the job opening. Haven't heard back yet.

Ignore them!

I was contacted via text (Randall Ellis) and asked to interview for the role of Remote Data Entry Analyst, the interview was conducted via Microsoft teams with Elizabeth Byrd, I was asked general interview questions until I was asked to provide my bank name, don't understand why that would be asked in an interview so I refused to answer. I was then asked to contact this person back via Teams at 10am on 4/3/24 for a follow-up, probably another attempt to get bank info.

They contact you via email, assuring that for 1 month of internship, you will receive a payment by the end, they use different company names and constantly change the emails or companies they are working for and offer to work the only thing that doesn't change is the phone number and the address. They assign tasks for one month to data entry resumes which might be the next targets for them. They try to scam your bank account by asking for information and trying to send them money in the name of the investment.

I was offered a job as a Personal Assistant for Capital Invest Company ([email protected]) on March 05, 2024 under the condition of a paid month-long internship Part time at $31.00 hourly . I was advised after interneship I would go full time form 8-am 5pm. They sent me a contract as well as a Employee verification letter. The gentleman who hired me, Alex Lindsay [email protected] contacted me through email and we spoke on the phone for my interview. The internship supervisor, JONATHAN SIMON (JS) ([email protected]), communicated via WebEx. They had a website and contacted me from the number listed on the website. I was so desperate for employment so I accepted the job . During the training, JS had me establish an account with Wise Bank, in which I was informed would only be used for training and I could delete after the internship. I informed them I was not comfortable with using my personal information and he never brought it up again, I worked from March 5, 2024 until April 1, 2024. The entire months, JS would instead have me do remedial spreadsheets, organizing thousands of names from collected resumes from people worldwide. I did not think much of it because I was advised I would be doing spreadsheets. When the first month ended, I was due for pay, but was told that HR would send me a form to fill out to receive my pay. Never received any forms or documents. I have emailed HR and JS and the emails are coming back and not delivery. The website is also currently down and my phone number has been blocked from calling them. I called from a different number and the phone keeps just ringing ( they did not block my second number. I have not received any form for payment or can I get any communication from anyone. JS has viewed my message and will not respond.

I could never get in touch with "finance department," with whom I could never have a one-on-one phone call or get a person on the phone. I don't understand why people do things like this, I am about to be evicted from my apartment because I can not pay my rent. This is beyond horrible and I can not pay my bills. I am at a loss. These people need to be stopped.

Someone identifying themselves as ‘Tara Evans’ with FlexJobs reached out directly to me via text to offer information about job opportunities. Then requested my WhatsApp number and suggested I connect with another ‘individual in charge’ to ‘facilitate clearer understanding on your part’, (meaning my part) ‘enabling you to decide suitability’.

I received a text message about a job from WAKEFIELD MCCOY LIMITED. The hiring manager stated if interested in the job i needed to download Telegram Messenger app. Then from there he gave me a name and stated thats who i was going to interview with and to give him a code that he provided. He said it was to show how i was able to perform the job which was for email and messenger correspondence. I was suspicious but i continued. The app tried to get access to my contacts and photos and videos. Which i denied because i was still iffy. I spoke with Mr. Faulkner Michael Reuben Hiring manager. He stated he was gonna ask me a series of questions and for me to answer as quickly as possible and put done when completed. He asked me about my work history and experience. But when it went to pay he asked how would i like to receive payment check or direct deposit. If direct deposit then they asked for bank name, how long ive had account with them to verify if they are compatible to send funds to. I answered and stated i can receive a check because i started seeing red flags. He then asked if i have a credit card and what was my limit. That's when i ended the chat. No Hiring manager would ever ask those questions. I felt so uncomfortable.

Scam Job Offer for an "Senior Executive Assistant" position with C & H Equipment Rentals, LLC out of Shelby, North Carolina.

This seems to be a very sophisticated group utilizing the online Application called "Signal". All Interviews were in "Text" via signal. The name of the business owner (Terry Hendrick) used for communication. Terry Hendrick is not on LinkedIn. Only current employee's are allowed to view the company on LinkedIn. Job Offers made immediately. I did not continue with this after i asked for direct phone conversations going forward and I was told "I don't get to dictate communications", no direct phone conversations allowed and I need to "follow directions". Be very careful. This is a scam on the employment website named "Indeed".

The initial message was from [email protected], but the following emails about the webinar were from [email protected] via Calendly to my gmail account.

I have been job searching on Indeed and LinkedIn, among other websites. I believe it was through Indeed that they got my information.

I attended a free webinar that was scheduled through the website topflightfinance.com on Tuesday, March 26th. There was no Q&A portion of the 1 hour program, and the presentation itself contained some questionable numbers in regards to how much they claimed a beginning associate of their company could make in a month. After the webinar, I received an email asking to contact them if I was interested in this career opportunity. I immediately sent an email containing the following (which takes numbers/figures directly from their presentation) and asked about the discrepancy.

"1.) For NYC, the typical fee for life accident and health insurance licensing is $80. Does the company pay for this for those being mentored or does that cost fall on the beginning associate?

2.) The presenter said that there is no cost for customers seeking help for financial planning. Payment comes via commission. If that is the case, how does an average associate (helping 4 families each contributing $185 per month), receive $4,044 a month in compensation?

Your speaker mentioned the commission percentages ranged from 25% to 65%.

So that led me to conclude that that means that 25-65% comes out of the $185 contributed by the client. Which, after some quick mathematics led me to the conclusion that the most an associate could possibly make per month (based on your presented numbers) was $481 in total for helping 4 families. The only way that an associate could make nearly the amount you claim is if their commission payment per family/client was a little over 1 thousand dollars. So, if there is no cost to the client for services and the most an associate can make on commission percentages is $481, how can it be accurately claimed an associate can make about 10x that amount only helping 4 families a month who pay $185 minimum?

If I have misunderstood, I'd be most grateful for a redirection, please."

I have yet to receive a reply, but I am concerned as this company seems to be allowed to

A.) Commission speakers to present blatantly inaccurate figures in regards to compensation for workers.

B.) May potentially be cheating employees out of wages, since they explicitly state they do not charge clients for services

C.) May potentially be stealing money from clients themselves, since they don't charge fees for services and promise 25-65% commission payments to mentored/beginning associates.

D.) There may be hidden fees/charges for supposed employees which they either do not explicitly state or refuse to answer questions about.

Please look into this company and their practices as soon as you are able. Both for the sake of their workers and anybody else who may be fooled by this scam.
