They said my car warranty was going to expire in a few days so I needed to talk to them to continue my warranty or it would be null and void. Call wsa from 8086522122.

- Kailua, HI, USA

Automated message says your car warranty has expired and you are receiving a courtesy call before your file is closed. Message then asks if you'd like to speak to a customer service representative to renew your vehicle's warranty. The customer service rep will ask you to confirm the year, make, and model of your car. I asked the rep to clarify which vehicle they were calling about since I have 3 vehicles. The rep said they are calling about "a year 2007 or newer car with less than 100,000 miles." Told the rep all 3 cars were newer than 2007 with less than 100,000 miles and asked for further clarification. The call was then ended abruptly. ***SCAM***650- 481-3912

Received a call from this number, 808-841-6246, saying that my car warranty was about to expire and if I would like to speak with a representative about renewing my Cars warranty. Once I answered "Yes" they hung up and then when I tried to call back, the number didn't work.

- Prague, OK, USA

The number that came up on my phone was: 4053316017 On 11-20-2017 at 2:06 pm. They ask me 3 questions about my car. I answered them. He said I had answered them wrong and he would have to transfer me to the supervisor. The supervisor told me I needed to renew my warranty on my car. I told him no and that I wanted them to quit calling me about this. They had called a lot of times already and I had kept telling them no and that I wanted them to quit calling then I would hang up. But they have kept calling. They use different numbers when they call. When I told him to quit calling this time he said that I had to activate the warranty in order for them to quit calling. He told me the car might break down and I would need help then. I told him my children would help me if that happen. He said my children probably wouldn't heip. That's when I hung up this time. Most of the time I watch the numbers and do not answer the phone, but was looking for a call this afternoon from the repair man and thought this might be it.

- Ashburn, VA, USA

They call nearly daily in regards to a car warranty, one I haven't owned in years, and they've been calling for years. I've asked to be removed from their lists, told them I no longer owned the car, and told them not to call back. I've informed them ahead of time I'd report them if they kept calling, and they have.

- Roseburg, OR, USA

They were calling to tell me that my car warranty was up and that it was a courtesy call. But I know for a fact that my car warranty is still intact as I have just used it in the last week. I spoke to the guy and when I told him that I knew it was a scam he told me to go kick rocks and hung up on me.

- Spokane, WA, USA

I received a call from someone claiming my car warranty had expired. I have repeatedly gotten this spam call and wanted to ask to be put on the Do Not Call list. I was asked if I wanted to speak with someone, I answered yes. The call then disconnected. I realized immediately that I had problem fallen victim to the recent scam where scammers try to capture a person's voice saying "yes" so they can use that to make unauthorized purchases. It was dumb to not realize it sooner because I had heard of this scam!

- Los Angeles, CA, USA

Robotic call asking about the warranty on my car, typically I skip to the get to a human point to have them remove my number. It asked if I wanted to speak to a rep, I said yes and the call ended.

I looked up the "don't say yes on the phone" scam and it said if you call back and it was a recording asking you to press a button to be placed on a Do Not Call list it was a scam phishing for "live" numbers. When I didn't press anything the call ended.

They kept calling my phone every day and it was saying that my vehicle warranty has expired so I thought maybe someone that had this phone number before me that their warranty had expired since they had called me everyday it was getting annoying so I decided I was going to get somebody on the phone and tell them to take me off your calling list they said would you like to be connected to a warranty specialist and I said yes they said would you like to be to a warranty specialist I said yes and they said it one more time I thought that they could not hear me that's why I was saying yes and then once I did I realized it was a scam and now I am scared to death that they are going to do something bad. it just happened this morning so I don't know if I'm going to get a bill in the mail or what is going to happen
