They kept calling my phone every day and it was saying that my vehicle warranty has expired so I thought maybe someone that had this phone number before me that their warranty had expired since they had called me everyday it was getting annoying so I decided I was going to get somebody on the phone and tell them to take me off your calling list they said would you like to be connected to a warranty specialist and I said yes they said would you like to be to a warranty specialist I said yes and they said it one more time I thought that they could not hear me that's why I was saying yes and then once I did I realized it was a scam and now I am scared to death that they are going to do something bad. it just happened this morning so I don't know if I'm going to get a bill in the mail or what is going to happen

- Hot Springs, SD, USA

This fake company keeps calling me with a car warranty. This call has happened for many weeks, and I usually just hang up. I was getting frustrated with the calls and decided to talk to a representative, and when I said "Yes", they hung up. Then I realized I said "yes", and it was a scam.

- Shakopee, MN, USA

I received an animated call about my vehicle warranty. The caller kept asking me "can you hear me?". obviously looking for my "yes" response. I may have said "yes" once. Should I be concerned that my "yes" was recorded and will be used to purchase credit cards, goods.....?

- Terre Haute, IN, USA

They called and said something about a car warranty and asked if I would like to speak to someone about my warranty ending. I said yes (I realized that was stupid after I did it) and they transferred me to a sales add and an option to be put on a no call list. The number was a California number. Not sure what to do.

- Randolph, UT, USA

They called to renew car warranty and asked if i wanted to speak to an agent and after i said Yes the call hung up

- Golden, CO, USA

I answered a local phone call on my cell phone. The recording asked me if I wanted more information on my Car Warranty. Since I don't have a car warranty, I wanted to speak to someone about misinformation and said YES when asked if I wanted to speak to an operator. When I said YES, they hung up, and I've been getting a busy signal when calling that number back. I realized I've probably been scammed.

I received a call about my car warranty running out. I asked why would I get a call on a 2003 car, why wouldn't I talk to the dealership? He hung up on me.

- Grove City, OH, USA

I received a call about my car warranty and they asked if I'd like to speak to a representative, as soon as I said yes they hung up. I called the number back and a recorded voice answered asking if I'd like to be placed on a do not call list and if so press #1. I did not respond to it.

- Saint Augustine, FL, USA

I got several calls all from "Heather" stating my car warranty was up. . Did I want to speak to an agent and I said yes!!! I can't believe I got duped over and over again. Then I read an article saying this is a new scam. I didnt think I would fall for that over and over. Nothing has happened to my accounts yet and I hope nothing does!!

- Saint Augustine, FL, USA

Told me my car warranty was up. Did I want to speak to an agent. I said yes!! Because my warranty is not up. Her name was Heather

- Randolph, NE, USA

Automated call. I received two times. The first was from Texas number and I hung up. The second was from Michigan number. After I said yes to a question the call ended.

- Grapevine, TX, USA

They called about car warranty. They have been calling non-stop and when they asked if I wanted to speak to a representative, I said 'yes' so I could get on the no-call list. Immediately after saying 'Yes', the line went dead.

I had heard about the 'Yes' scam, and immediately knew I fell for it. Not sure what the long term consequence will be.

- Flemington, NJ, USA

I received non-stop calls from these numbers on both of my family's cell phones all day today, 1/27/17. It was a robocall saying a car warranty had expired. Unfortunately, not having heard about the say "yes" scam until researching the numbers online tonight, when asked if I wanted to speak to a representative regarding car warranties I said "yes" in hopes of getting a live person that could remove me from the calling list. The call immediately disconnected. As I understand the say "yes" scam is intended to extort money from individuals by claiming they gave verbal authorization for something, such as purchase of a service or product, when in fact they never did. I'm filing this report to document today's calls should this be an issue and am reporting the caller(s) as having taken money since there is the possibility they will do so.

- Ada, MI, USA

I received a phone call recording from 909 366 8930 and they said my car warranty was expired or something like that and do I want to renew , I have had many many phone calls like this from different numbers and wanted to speak to a person to complain so I said yes. Immediately the phone was hung up. I feel they may use my yes now for scam purposes! I did not want to hear any more about the warranty but wanted to complain to a person and thought I would be transferred
