Unsolicited faxed invoice from Blue Rocket SEO

We received a faxed invoice to our business. We have never even been in contact with this business before as far as I am aware, much less solicited their services. We should not be in their system unless they have actively gone out to find our information to send us a fake invoice. I am reporting this as a scam because I see that ScamPulse.com has done investigations on this company before for the same exact reason.

I received a bill via fax from Blue Rocket SEO that I have never purchased from or heard of. The invoice states that I owe them $479.85 for services never ordered or received, including Essential Search Continuity, Digital Identity & HTTPS Trust, and Web Reliability & Access. This invoice does not include the disclaimer "This is not a bill". This invoice was not paid.

Unsolicited fax invoice from Blue Rocket SEO

We are a governmental entity and received a fax from this company. The fax included an invoice in the amount of $479.85. This was not an item we purchased nor is this a vendor we deal with. They were requesting payment for Digital Idenity & https Trust($159.95/month), Essential Search Continuity ($219.95/month), and Web Reliability & Access (99.95/month). They had even assigned us a Customer ID and listed our service URL on this invoice. It did include an email contact for the "account executive", Jennifer Mitchell, [email protected].

Scam alert!!!

This company sends a totally legit-looking bill by fax, with our correct address, says it was due yesterday. Amount due: $99.58. We don't use any SEO companies, and the website they had listed was CLOSE to our website, but different. I tried to pull it up but only got an error message.
Total scam, and these people and their ilk need to be thrown in JAIL! C'mon Texas, please make an example of them!

My company received a faxed invoice from this company stating we owed $99.58 fro "SEO/Link Building." Yeah, no. As with other complainants, we've never heard of or done business with them. Had to chuckle, though. I'm so used to these types of scam invoices coming via e-mail that I didn't think any still resorted to fax.
This is a scam. DO NOT PAY.

We have never down business with this company, have no record of the account number referenced on the fraudulent invoice (SEO Account # 02-918-374798) dated 02/09/2018 and do not accept faxed invoices at our corporation. The invoice references "Affordable, effective search engine optimization - pinging services, directory submission, back-linking, etc.)
